should start with Emmett Benton. He is the father of Jerrica and Kimber Benton. He thought that music listeners would be able to enjoy music more with a display of holographic images of the band to go along with the music they were listening to. He named his computer Synergy. Synergy is programmed to created holographic images of just about anything imaginable! Synergy's holograms move and act as real as the real life image that they are imitating. Synergy has the characterics of Emmet's dead wife, Jacqui.
There are two forms that Synergy takes on. These two forms are the actual computer form and a hologram that the earrings project. Synergy is kept in a hidden room in the Starlight Mansion, away from evil such as the Misfits. |
Emmett also made a pair of hologram earrings to go along with Synergy. These earrings were in the shape of stars. Whoever wore these earrings had access to Synergy. When Jerrica/Jem wants to project a hologram, she says "It's Showtime Synergy!". When Jem/Jerrica wants to stop the hologram, she says "Show's Over Synergy". When Jerrica wants to transform into Jem, Synergy puts a hologram of Jem over Jerrica's body.
Synergy revealed herself to Jerrica through the star earrings because her father died before he could tell her about Synergy. Jerrica came up with the idea of starting a rock group. Kimber, Aja, and Shana joined. Jem and the Holograms would now compete with The Misfits, a band formed by Eric Raymond. Eric use to work for Starlight Music until he was caught embezzling money. He then started his own record company and signed The Misfits! |
