| "ok last friday(7-6-01) i got my belly button pierced on main street i forgot what that name of the shoppe wz called. but anyways everyone i talked told me that it didnt hurt,wtf ever!!! it hurt like a bi*ch. lol. my mom and my boyfriend wz with me,and my boyfriend wz holdin my hand and he said i almost squeezed it off,lol. i screamed so loud,either i screamed or it wz just in my head. cz it hurt bad. i mean it wz a belly button piercing,not like i wz having a baby. lol. i dunno why it hurt so bad,but omg when i came out these freaky lookin people were looking at me smiling. i kept my boyfriends hand and we walked out,i think they must have heardme screamin,at the front of the shoppe! haha i got so embaresed. but i do know one thing,im never EVER gettin a tattoo. that has got to hurt!" ~Wildeyes1487 "i emailed you the other day about how i convinced my parents and said that i still had to get it done (my tongue piercing). well, i finally did it. the whole procedure went really well, the girl who did it explained everything, was very nice, and worked quickly. she told me i had a perfect tongue for it (long and wide), and there was no bleeding, or pain (and i have a low tolerance). it brused at first, but that passed within minutes. I've just been drinking a lot of water, and eating a lot of ice since i did it. i was told it would be very swollen when i woke up the day after, but it didn't swell a bit (i'm probably jinxing myself). overall, it was a good experience and even though its all tender now, i'm sure it will be well worth the money, as long as i keep it clean. :)" ~SpookyPenguin808 "Hi, i would like to share my story with you, I recently had went and gotten my Navel Pierced (belly button) It took awhile to convice my parents but i finally had gotten it out of them...As we were driving to the shop i was a little nervous, i walked in there and watched 2 tougue being pierced and a tattoo that was being done..they were very honest and told me exaclty were they were going to do. They sit me in a chair and leaned my back..(the chair was somewhat like a denist chair) I didnt want to watch at first but i did get a little glimsp of waht was going on in the middle of the process...the placed the clamps on, and vaseline on the needle and slid through, i amnot going to lie it wasnt pleasant, but it didnt hurt, it all really depends on your pain tolerance, most of the people i had talked to before i made up my mind to do it said it didnt hurt abit...it has been about 3 weeks i have had it now, and i dont even notice anymore, i reddish has gone away and i didnt recieve no sweelin what so ever..." ~Noele "I wanted to get my bellybutton pierced for about a year. I always thought it looked so cute on other girls and lots of my friends had it. My mom was actually ok with it (which is really strange), so I didnt have to convinve her much. Although lots of my relatives tried to talk me out of it but I still wanted to do it. So one day my mom went to this piercing place (without me for some reason) called Gold Fortune in Bronx, NY and she wanted to check it out and make sure it was clean. It was, so that weekend we went and I was really nervous but I knew I couldn't turn back now. So I chose a banana bell which is clear and double jeweled with 2 blue jems...its really cute. I was just happy I didnt have to get a hoop like they said I would, I hate hoops. So I went in the room and it was clean looking, the girl told me to lay down on this dentist chair-looking thing. She marked me and cleaned my belly button and clamped it. This didnt hurt at all. Then she pierced me and thats it. It took 2 seconds and it really didnt hurt. It was no big deal, really. But I was sooo proud of myself for doing it this time! There was a little blood but it stopped after a few minutes. Anyway, it's been about a week since I got it done and it's healing great, it's never been red and I can't even feel it, I have no pain at all. I clean it according to the aftercare sheet I got. I bought more banana bells so when I change it in 5 weeks I'll have some nice jewelry. So to anyone who's thinking of getting it done, go for it! You won't regret it, and it'll look great on anyone who has a flat stomach." ~XxSexyBxChik99xX See Pic 1 See Pic 2 "Last night at around 11 pm CST, my mom got the idea to pierce her ankles. well, not really her ankles, but about three inches up from her ankle bone and put earrings in them, or would they be called ankrings? anyway, i thought it was so cool so i went and bought a pair of hypoallergenic, stainless steel post earrings and had her do mine this morning. it is totally cool. i never thought i would have any piercings besides my ears. my sister has her belly button, nipple and a madison piercing. oh an BTW, to your reader who said that tattoos have to hurt, they hurt less than a piercing ever will....lol...i have 12 myself." ~Sherrik |
