Soul Groups |
Each of us Soul-Beings is a member of a "family" of souls called a soul group. This groups of souls is a group or family with a a common purpose and common level/state of advancement/enlightenment. We are working together towards a common goal. Our soul group does not offer assistance or guidance to us in this physical existence. What it does do is offer support through "confirmation" that we are headed in the right direction. How do they do that? Here in the physical, things sometimes get tough and we feel that we have lost direction and experience being disconnected from our Spirituality. During these times it is very hard to see the synchronicities that are going on around us and we do a lot of "soul-searching". Often, of course, the answers are staring us in the face but we are too distressed to notice them. This is where our soul groups come into play. Imagine you are a quarterback about to make a major play in a game with only a few seconds to go. You are faced with many options, the ball is in your hand, you fake once, fake twice and then you decide this is the right play! As if by magic the crowd know the play is right and roar. You hear the crowd, through the play and score. It's similar to that in the sense that we consider our options and, as we make the right decision, our soul group sends us energy to enhance the life experience and confirm and recognise the synchronicity that has helped us get "back on track". Of course, we were never "off-track" just experiencing life! Another aspect of the Soul-Group is that we actually come in contact with another member here in the Physical. We may meet someone who has a similar lifepath and almost identical outlook to ours. Someone whom we know already how she/he thinks about an issue, can trust implicitly and with whom we experience a Oneness and Togetherness that goes beyond this single lifetime. The sense of a greater purpose would probably rule out romance and sex from such a relationship and it would be purely platonic. Yes, I have heard the term "soul-mates", but, unfortunately this is an expression usually reserved for romantic encounters and matchmaking and has, IMHO, devalued it considerably, possibly even relegating it to obscurity in Spiritual terminology. Another possibility, as explored by James Redfield in "The Tenth Insight" is that of members of similarly focussed soul-groups working together, overcoming a common difficulty and the returning to their different paths. This of course makes perfect sense as working together as a team, succeeding and then disbanding is something that we all do without thinking in our daily lives, at work, charities etc so why not synchronistically with people who have come into our lives for a short time and with whom we have a common aim and purpose? Just because we will only know someone for a short time doesn't mean that the short relationship has no meaning! |
