Audra G. Kunf, CEM
Ms. Kunf has 18 years experience in emergency management working with both the public and private sectors. Until forming Global Emergency Management, she worked in the public sector at the county and state levels. During this time she assisted many communities within her jurisdictions to develop emergency plans. She has also developed emergency response plans for government agencies and private businesses incorporating a multi-hazard approach, including fixed nuclear site (nuclear power plants) and hazard materials incidents. Ms. Kunf has been actively involved in the response to and recovery from numerous local, gubernatorial, and presidential disasters including: Hurricane Floyd flood, Loma Prieta earthquake, Northridge earthquake, Los Angeles Civil Unrest, Southern California Firestorms, and numerous other flood events. She also has served as a contract housing inspector for the FEMA's Individual Family Grant Program. In addition to her response and recovery experience, Ms. Kunf is a certified instructor for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Specialized Training Institute (CSTI). Additionally, she is a certified instructor in California's Standardized Emergency Management System and the Incident Command System. Ms. Kunf has developed and presented many disaster prparedness progams and seminars throughout southern California. She specializes in all phases of emergency management as well as training and planning.
D. Marilee Hansen, CEM
Ms. Hansen has over 20 years experience in the field of emergency management working with both the public and private sectors. Before Global Emergency Management, she worked in both the public sector at the county and federal levels and within the private sector. She specializes in all-hazards emergency planning and exercise development and implementation. Within the planning arena, Ms. Hansen has extensive experience with local government emergnecy plans, business continuity plans, hazardous material incidents, and specializes in medical facility contingency planning and disaster communications. As a licensed HAM operator and member of RACES, she is well versed in the use and coordination of volunteers during disaster operations. Ms. Hansen has been involved in response and recovery operations for numerous gubernatorial and presidential disasters within California. Richard A. Ranous, SE
Mr. Ranous is a registered Structural Engineer in the State of California and spent the early years of his career in building design. He now uses his engineering background to develop innovative solutions to emergency management problems. He has 9 years of experience in the field of emergency management in the public and private sectors and over 20 years experience in structural engineering/design. Prior to joining Global Emergency Management he was with the State of California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (OES) where he was involved in response and recovery operations for numerous gubernatorial and presidential disasters. He was the technical advisor to the Director of OES for the Sierra Madre earthquake, Landers/Big Bear earthquakes, the Humboldt earthquake, and the Northridge earthquake. For these and other disasters Mr. Ranous was involved in recovery operations with OES' Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation programs. He developed the State of California's Post-Disaster Safety Assessment Program and was involved in FEMA's development of an Urban Search and Rescue Program. He is a certified instructor in California's Standardized Emergency Management System and an adjunct instructor for the California Specialized Training Institute. Mr. Ranous specializes in business continuity planning and emergency management training for private sector businesses and organizations.
