For Chester I decided to get everyone the same thing, as I had no idea what M7 items people did or didn't have! I got hold of some black gift bags, and painted, in silver, a cowboy hat on the front (photo to come). These bags were then filled with the following items, and topped off with a sheet of silver tissue and a nametag:-

I wanted to get something particularly special as an extra for my attendees, so back in the Summer I ordered some pictures of Mike, Eric, Tony and Dale. I sent these 10x8 photos off to the actors with a letter asking them if they would be kind enough to sign them to the attendees.
I didn't actually expect to get a reply cause I understand that they have very busy lives, so you can imagine my surprise when three weeks later I received a parcel from Eric Close. Eric had not only signed the photos to the attendees but he had also very kindly added a photo for me! Thank you Eric! :-)
I had sent the pictures to Tony a few weeks later than the others, due to problems getting the photos. So imagine my joy when again, three weeks after I had sent them, I received a parcel from him too! Tony had not only signed all the pictures to the attendees but he had also written me a note on one of them (see left). Thank you Tony! :-)
Within each letter I had enclosed a $5 bill to cover the return postage for the photos! Tony sent his back with the pictures and a little alteration. If you want a laugh please have a look at the scan (below) to see Tony's artwork. Very funny Tony! :-)
Literally the night before Tony's parcel arrived I received word from the person who was helping me get photos from Mike (THANK YOU). The person had spoken to him to ask him if he would sign them, and he had agreed! The person (and don't ask me who cause I promised secrecy) then very kindly sent them to him for me and Mike apparently set a new record by signing and returning them within 3 days! :-) My helper then posted them straight to me (Thank you again).
Unfortunately this was now September 12th and they were therefore, understandably, heavily delayed in the post from the USA to the UK. They did not arrive in time for the Gathering, but I was able to inform the attendees that they were on route, and they were just as thrilled! Thank you Mike! :-) I had missed two people on the list and not sent enough pictures for the Mike fans, so my helper kindly got me two more!
The attendees did not know about the photos or my success in getting them (thanks to the three wonderful cast members, their agents and my helpers), so I am sure you can imagine the surprise and shock when I handed them out! :-) Thanks again Mike, Eric and Tony, it really did mean a lot to them and to me! Thank you :-)
