WHAT WE DID!

SUNDAY

The Zines

Sunday, more sightseeing for some, while the rest of us kicked back and read 'zines. The three brigs had all remained at the hotel, so all the M7 eps that featured Ezra were popped into the VCR one after another.

When everyone was reassembled, we ordered Italian and ate in while we watched still more M7 (and Chris assembled some more keychains). We finished the entire series at around 11 pm, when we called it a night since some folks had to get up early to drive home the next day.

Monday morning, we were still 7, so we met for breakfast at Denney's before Joy had to leave to catch her late morning flight back to the OTHER Portland (yep, she flew from Portland Oregon to Portland Maine!)

Nancy's new batThe conference room and lounge had been stripped clean by this time, but the doors connecting them were unlocked and since no one was using them, we wheeled one of the VCR-TVs into Michele's room where we watched Eric in "The Stranger Beside Me" and tried to convince ourselves that his rapist, peeping tom, child molester, wife-beating character was simply misunderstood.

Meanwhile Chris assembled the last of the keychains. Then it was time for Rick, Peggy and Chris to leave for their late afternoon flights, and for Violette to hit the road for her trip back to Massachusetts. That left only Michele and Nancy who are both Darlin's and never get near enough opportunity to discuss that darlin' boy, so after great dinner, courtesy of Michele, it was back to the hotel to watch Andy in The David Cassidy Story before saying final farewells.

Thus ended four wonderful days of videos, fan fiction, junk food and great company! And, our "rummage sale" and raffle has raised over $1200, which will be donated to the Humane Society of New York for the animals affected by the September 11th tragedy. (Leftover items were offered to other fans, so we had lots of help!)

A great time was had by everyone, and we all went home with some good memories!
