I volunteer as a DJ for an online radio station known as Shanty Raid-io. It's pirate themed, and is based out of Puzzle Pirates, the game I talk about a lot.

I first heard about the station back when it started in June. Heksubah, the owner (we all go by screen names, mine is "Gloraelin") put out a call for DJs, and always interested in that sort of thing, I volunteered. My first day was June 18, 2005. A friend named my show for me, because I was feeling very uncreative at the time I started, and he came up with "Gloraelin's Room with a Moose."

I did daily shows for around six months, and I retired from my daily show on November 5. My time constraints didn't allow me to attend classes, do a show, and hold down a job at the same time. I do have occasional shows, depending on my mood and the schedule. My current project is to perform interviews of "important" people in Puzzle Pirates, including the developers.
