| The GLOWACKI side of my family originates from Horodnica, Husiatyn, Galicia, Austria-Hungary [which is now in the Ukraine]. Antonius (Tony) Glowacki and Katarzyna (Kathy) Pylypyc never came to Canada to live but all four sons did and apparently a sister as well. They came over in the very early 1900s and settled in Winnipegosis, Manitoba, where all but one, my great grandfather Peter, stayed in Manitoba while Peter ventured to Oshawa, Ontario around 1920.
