I Stitched Teresa Wentzler's "Castle" for my husband and for myself.
I am always stitching something for someone, a friend or a family member
but never for me. So I asked my husband one day what he would like to see
hanging on our family room wall above our fireplace and this is what he picked!
He read my thoughts because this is what I wanted for our family room too.
I stitched it on 28 ct white jobelan. I also used Krenik thread on the dragon
to give him a little sparkle. I started stitching it in September and finished
it in February. I worked on it in the evenings after work and dinner. About
an hour or two in the evenings. I stopped work on it for about 2 months
(November and December) for the holidays and then resumed working on it
in January and finished it up by the end of February. It's my first
Teresa Wentzler but definitely not my last!
