A brief history of subOrbital

subOrbital was founded in 2006 by Glenn McCarter. We originated as a design and illustration firm, specializing in commercial systems, vehicles, and consumer products. After a number of successful design introductions, including the acclaimed Pursuit Car law enforcement vehicle, subOrbital assumed a more active role in the product lifecycle, including areas of manufacturing, distribution, marketing, sales, and service.

Then in 2017, subOrbital researchers made two remarkable discoveries. The first was a method of linear retrotransmission of IP packets through the Internet, without the usual scattering. In laymen's terms, we learned how to send messages backwards in time. We call it ITTP (Internet Time Tunnelling Protocol).

As described in IETF documents RFC-12536 through -12545, the ITU and ISO have agreed on ITTP as the standard of temporal transmission. Note: all temporal transmissions are now subject to regulation by the CEC (Cause and Effect Committee), under the auspices of the WTO

Today, in 2019, subOrbital is rolling out the furthest backtransmission attempted to date: a "website" will be sent back to the late 1990's, to celebrate the 20th anteversary of ITTP. Web browsers circa 1997 should be able to access this transmission. Website viewers can respond to subOrbital, thus setting up a crude twenty year two-way communication link.
