The Harris Park Community Centre is a non-profit organisation which can offer a variety of services and activitites, depending on local needs, to residents in the area.  It is important that people let their needs be known. Everyone regardless of their background is eligible to receive services from the community centre.  The centre receives funding from the Department of Community Services.

Harris Park Community Centre was established to provide services to the people of the Harris Park and Rosehill areas, Provision of information on services as well as referrals to those services

Where there are needs in the community and no services available in the area to meet those needs, the Community Centre will attempt to provide such services.

Harris Park Community Centre has involved itself in community areas such as:

Lobbying and Resident Action

Consolidation with the Arts and Craft group that operates in the Christian Outreach Centre.

Negotiation with the Harris Park Village Progess Association, local politicians at all three levels of government, other agencies, ethnic communities and the local media

Refugee and Homelessness issues

Safety Audit in Harris Park
