IN MEMORY OF OUR SISTER

Clara, a member of our fellowship died suddenly this month leaving her husband, three small children and a new-born baby.

This is a picture of Clara with her children taken shortly after she received Christ as her personal Savior.  Just a couple of weeks ago Clara went to be with the Lord.   She was in our service on Sunday and was very happy.  She had just returned from a visit with her family.  She smiled as she left that afternoon, saying that she was going to invite her neighbor to come with her the following week.  Never, did we imagine that we would be praying over her casket the following Wednesday.  Clara, was expecting a child and when she went to the hospital Wednesday morning, there were complications.  The baby was born healthy, but Clara didn't survive.  It was a difficult time for our people and nearly impossible to believe.  Clara trusted Christ in our home last year, and we are so thankful that God gave us the opportunity to know her and to lead her to Christ.  It makes us realize how fleeting life is, and how important our work is among the mountain people.  Through her testimony we are able to offer hope to all those who knew her. She has a home in heaven and we will see her there if we too know Christ.  Please pray for her family and for others who need Christ.  As a result of Clara's death and with her testimony of a soul going to heaven, Mario and his wife Lulu, a young couple with a one year old daughter, put their faith in Christ.  Praise the Lord!
