I sort of remember getting interested in tennis when Billie Jean played Bobby Riggs. Since then I was hooked. My very favorite and the best to ever play the game is no other than Martina Navratolova! I am also a BIG Boris Becker fan. Can you tell I like serve and volley style tennis?I am also a BIG McEnroe fan. I am also a BIG Andre Agassi fan-he IS exciting to watch as well. I was sad to see Yana Novotna retire because she was another excellent serve and vollier with a dangerous slice shot! Currently there is a lot of power going on in both the men's and lady's tennis so I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. Martina Hingis can move around a lot though and I like to watch her play. Most of the players are "power baseliners" though. Although it usually takes moving off the baseline to actually win points and ultimately win the game!
