Welcome to my latest web page. I have now had two web pages deleted by these guys (for no reason), so I'm not sure why I am going to try again...it takes a lot of work...., but here it goes.
A brief life history:
I was born in Durango, Colorado, but moved around a fair amount as a child (my mother liked to travel). I lived in the Southwest for my first few years. When I was four, my mother and I went on an eight month trip to Europe and Asia. When we returned, I started school in Martha's Vinyard, but didn't like it. We then moved back to Durango. When I was seven, we moved to Hawaii for a year and then to northern California for four years... and then back to Durango for most of middle school and all of high school. I then moved to Colorado Springs where I went to Colorado College for 3.5 years (graduating with a degree in Biology), and then on to Africa for the Peace Corps. I was in Senegal (West Africa) and was an agriculture volunteer. I lived in a small village near Bakel and the Mauritanian border. I learned to speak Soninke/ Sarahule (a tribal language). When I returned, I moved to TN to be with my boyfriend, Vlasta. (We met in Kansas when I was there as a summer ecology intern during college and he as a masters student.) We are now married and I have lived here since 2003. The lush vegetaion is pretty, but I could do without the humidity in the summer. My husband and I sail Thistles (17' sail boat) most of the time, but sometimes manage to go hiking. I like to take a lot of photographs. If you'd like to see some click on the photos link.
At one point I took a Photoshop class, and had some fun creating some things, including animations... to see them click here.
