This web site will follow the construction of our new home in Lakelands, a neo-traditional community in Montgomery County, Maryland.

What the finished product will be

The lot is 1/4-acre with a conservation easement behind it.

8/04/02 ~ The beginning of the foundation

8/10/02 ~ Foundation walls: formed and poured

8/16/02 ~ Forms removed and preparations underway for pouring the floor slab

8/24/02 ~ Foundation backfilled and floor slabs poured

9/02/02 AM ~ First floor framing

And later that afternoon ~ Second floor framing
