Clive -- Actually, we're claiming Shannon as our daughter. We're Bill & Kathy Meairs of San Juan Capistrano, Ca. Shannon was born in 1977 in San Diego, graduated from San Clemente High School in 1996 (Valedictorian) & Summa cum Laude from Pepperdine University in 2000. After serving as assistant director of admissions at Pepperdine (4yrs), she came up with the idea for "The Scholar." She has recently started her own company "Full Ride.com", which preps students for college admission. We're pretty proud of our 27 yr. old. We also have a son, Scott, a 32 yr. old pilot in the U.S. Navy, currently based in Coronado, Ca.
