It's Mr. Mimie TimeThe gang meets a circus-owner named Stella who wants to capture a Mr. Mime, because the one she already has won't perform. Brock stuffs Ash into a Mr. Mime costume, so when Team Rocket appears they end up stealing him! When Ash escapes Team Rocket chases him back to the circus, where a wild Mr. Mime and Stella's Mr. Mime team up to beat the bad guys. Then the wild Mr. Mime takes a liking to Ash's mom and follows her home.


Showdown at the Po-ké CorrallGoing to Professor Oak's lab to learn about the Pokémon League, Ash and his friends find that it starts in two months. They also find Gary! They all tour the lab and the Pokémon habitats, talking about different training techniques. When Team Rocket attacks, Gary and Ash are about to challenge them together when a herd of Tauros Ash caught in the Safari Zone breaks their fence and blasts them off. Oak's lab is again safe, and Ash now has a fence to fix.


The Evolution SolutionAt Seafoam Island Ash and his pals talk with Professor Westwood about why a Slowpoke evolves. Team Rocket is also there, to steal the Pokémon in Westwood's lab. Jessie and James capture a wild Shellder and use it to make Slowpoke evolve, despite Psyduck's attempts at stopping them. But now we discover that Slowpoke evolves into Slowbro so it can use its Mega Punch, and Team Rocket is blasting off again!


The Pi-KahunaStill on Seafoam Island, Ash is surfing when he injures his ankle. A man named Victor and his Pikachu Pooka save him. Victor and Pooka are waiting for Humunga-Dunga, a giant wave that only comes every 20 years. They want to plant their flag at the top of a giant rock like Victor's mentor Jan did so many years ago. After another Team Rocket plan is foiled, Humunga-Dunga comes. Victor and Pooka ride the wave and fulfill their dream. All right!


Make Room For GloomVisiting the Xanadu Nursery, run by a girl named Florinda, Ash let's his Bulbasaur out to frolic among the plants. But Florinda is afraid she's a terrible trainer, because she couldn't even get her Gloom to evolve. In reality, it was Team Rocket's fault. They sold her a fake Leaf Stone. When they return to the greenhouse Brock gives her the confidence to stand up to them. When the florist's Gloom wins she learns that she does have what it takes.


Lights, Camera, Quack-tionDirector Spielbunk is directing a move staring Pokémon, and he's having auditions! Ash and his friends, plus Team Rocket and a girl with a Raichu, allow their Pokémon to try out. But when the co-star turns out to be a temperamental Wigglytuff, the only one stupid enough to still want the part is Psyduck! Team Rocket, steamed because their Pokémon didn't make it, try to steal the actors. But Psyduck's psychic attack sends them blasting off again.


Go West Young MeowthWhen our heroes are invited to Hollywood to preview the movie it reminds Meowth of his life growing up in that city of magic. He was a stray, who joined a gang of Meowths led by a Persian. He fell in love with a female Meowth who was owned by a wealthy lady. To win her love he painstakingly taught himself to walk upright and speak like a human. Now we know what happened! But she saw him as a freak now, and he left Hollywood to take up a life with Team Rocket.


To Master the OnixpectedAsh hasn't been getting in much training for the Pokémon League. Things keep coming up! But today he's traveling into the mountains to learn from Bruno of the Elite Four. When a giant, raging Onix attacks Ash and Pikachu, Bruno leaps to fend off the Onix without even using any Pokémon! He's able to understand the wild Onix and knows it is in pain. Bruno walks right up and removes a Sandslash stuck in its rocky body.


The Ancient Puzzle of PokemopolisDuring a practice battle with Brock's Vulpix, Ash unearths an ancient temple. Could this be part of the lost city, Pokemopolis? An excavation team shows up, and they accidentally let loose two ancient destructive forces, a giant Gengar and an Alakazam! They start wreaking havoc. Just in time a giant Jigglypuff shows up to soothe the angry giants, leaving the humans wondering just what they've witnessed.


Bad to the BoneOn the way to Indigo Plateau, to compete in the Pokémon Tournament, Ash and his friends find a boy named Otoshi and his Marowak who had their eight badges stolen by Team Rocket. Well Ash isn't going to stand for this injustice! They track down the thieves and force them to have a Pokémon battle for the badges. Arbok and Weezing are no match for Marowak and Pikachu, and when Otoshi has his property back Indigo Plateau is spotted in the distance.
