I am a witch, with some roots from England of witchcraft in my family. I didn't totally agree with their teachings and they don't mine, so I decided to call myself the all encompessing "Eclectic Celt". I practice solo much of the time, but I have several witches I celebrate sabbats with. I have learned(after years of study)most of the basics. I am a self-dedicated HPS. I know some followers of the old religion thinks you have to be in a coven to become a HPS, but I have studied for years, with and without other witches, so I did pay my dues and have passed every test into becoming a HPS. Now I feel I am ready for the next stage. I want to help others.
The only trouble is where I live, it is almost impossible to come out except to a few select friends. I feel such saddness that in the year 2001 I still can not yell to the world what I am. I thought there might be more like me. This gave me the idea of having a shop on-line where I can share some spells & provide you with your needed tools, such as herbs, essential oils, etc. Plus I have formed a coven for on-line witches only. I do not claim to know everything--not even close--even though I have been a HPS for about a year. I have so much to learn from elders. They are who know the secrets, have the skill to use them and are wonderful enough to pass it on to us. When I go to events I don't even tell anyone I have been made a HPS, since I still have tons of things to learn. People get the wrong impression and think you know so much more than they do. Oh, how wrong they are. The crones are the ones who have wisdom. I am just trying to achieve half of the knowledge of the elders I know. So maybe together we can learn, just as our ancestors treaded that fine line years ago. They learned by trial and error, I am sure. I am always open to suggestions. I am sure each of us has an area they are stronger in. As for me, I study essential oils and herbs. I love sympathetic magick also. What is yours?? Jump right in, the water is warm!!
