I was born on December 24, 1958 in a little town in eastern Kentucky called Ashcamp. We lived there until the summer between my 2nd and 3rd grade years. During that summer we moved to a small town in southern Indiana called Corydon. I graduated from Corydon Central High School in 1976 and went on to college at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana. I met my future wife, Kimberly Moss in 1977 at college and we were engaged that summer. In my senior year in 1979 I transferred up to the main Bloomington, Indiana campus of Indiana University and graduated in 1980. Kimberly and I were married on June 21 and we moved up to West Chicago, Illinois where I began work for Western Electric Corporation. In 1983, we moved to Altamonte Springs, Florida, a suburb of Orlando, Florida, where I worked for a small consulting firm called Auxton Computer Enterprises. On March 1, 1984 we had our first child, Sarah. In July of 1986 we moved to Miami Township, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, where I began working for NCR Corporation. On October 19, 1986 we had our second child, David. We moved to another house in West Carrollton, Ohio in 1988. In 1992, we moved again to a house in Kettering, Ohio where we have lived ever since.
