giving back to God, His gift to us
Keilab was layed to rest on 25 Jan 2002
on what would have been his great grandfather, Andrew Jackson Sowell's 81st birthday
he is where Keilab got his middle name from
Keilab's uncle, my brother, also has the name Andrew Jackso Sowell
when i saw this background i knew i just had to use it.  what peace i get when i look at this picture.  how AWESOME just to think of Jesus being the first person Keilab saw when he got to Heaven.
not once have i been mad at God for taking Keilab so soon from us.  i could never put into words what i wanted to ask God.  Then one Sunday my pastor could not have said it any better.  NOT WHY BUT WHAT!   what is it that God wanted me to do with Keilab's death.  there was a reason for this all.  i wanted so much to see God work through this and i have.  we may not know all of the reasons for this happening until we get to heaven.  my husband and i have leaned on God's promise that we will see Keilab again.  That being the main thought every time i get sad and everyone out there who has prayed for us will be what will get us through this and it is what has gotten us this far.  only by God's grace have we made it through this.  God sent Jesus, His ONLY SON to die on the cross for our sins.  Jesus now is alive.  we believe He is alive and have accepted Him as our personal Lord and Savior.  because He did this for us and because we have believed, we are promised to see our borrowed little Keilab again.  Keilab is running around on streets of gold with a perfect body and he will be there waiting for us when it is our time to go.
KEILAB, KNOWING YOU ARE THERE IN HEAVEN MAKES THE THOUGHT OF HEAVEN ALL THAT MUCH MORE SWEETER!!!!

GOOD BYE FOR NOW
i can't believe that you're really gone now
seems like it's all just a dream
how can it be that the world will go on
when something has died within me

leaves will turn, my heart will burn
with colors of you
snow will fall, but i'll recall your warmth
summer wind, breathing in your memory
i'll miss you

but there will come a day time
when i'll see your face
and we will laugh again
and there will come a day
when i'll hold you close
no more tears to cry
'cause we'll have forever
but i'll say good bye for now

i can't imagine my life without you
you held a place all your own
just knowing you were beneath the same sky
oh what a joy i have known

on rainy days, in many ways
you'll water my heart
on starry nights i'll glimpse the light
of your smile
never far from my heart
you'll stay with me
so i'll wait

but there will come a time
when i'll see your face
and we will laugh again
and ther will come a day
when i'll hold you close
now more tears to cry
'cause we'll have forever
but i'll say good by for no

THE NEW ANGEL

There's a new angel in heaven
whose name is Keilab
He watches over you and knows
that you love him
The feeling you feel
is ever so slight
but don't worry it's just
his new wings brushing you;
as he bends to kiss you goodnight.
he knows he'll see you again
when it is your time
But until then he wants you to know...
he's holding God's hand
and he's happy and fine

LITTLE ANGELS
when God calls little children
to dwell with Him above
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with
the death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our world
seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to his fold,
So he picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few
To make the land of heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult.
Still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be "goodbye"
So when a child departs,
We who are left behind,
must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find
