| Ebirah (Godzilla Versus The Sea Monster (1966), Godzilla's Revenge (1969)) Height: 50 meters Weight: 23,000 metric tons (25,300 tons) Powers/Special Powers: Pincers History/Origin: Ebirah was the "watchdog" of the terrorist organization, the Red Bamboo, on Letchi Island. When Godzilla was awoken, he immediately battled Ebirah, and quickly made short work of the beast, driving the giant lobster into submission. Shortly before Letchi Island exploded, Ebirah fought Godzilla again. Though he fared a little better this time out, Ebirah was badly beaten again, and both his pincers were ripped off, apparently killing the beast. Ebirah later appeared as an inmate on Monster Island, but since this was within Ichiro's dreams, wether Ebirah really is there or not is unknown. Power: ** out of ***** Ebirah isn't that strong, for one, and his shell doesn't offer much of anything in the way of protection. He is greatly injured by heat, and he can even be held at bay by the juice of what appears to be lemons. His greatest weakness, however, is the inability to fight out of the water. As such, Ebirah is one of the weakest of Godzilla's foes, surpassing only Kamacuras and Okondoru. |
