KIRYU
Height: 60 meters
Weight: 40,000 metric tons
Weapons: Shoulder missiles and heat seeking missiles on sides, maser cannon from mouth, high powered lasers on wrists, electric blades from hands, rockets that can make Kiryu hover off the ground or fly if released high in the air, speed, claws, teeth, tail, can launch the shoulder missile pack, and Absolute Zero Cannon.
History: Japan is once again devastated by an attack wrought by Godzilla. Tired of these random monster attacks, the Japanese Military have no choice but to build a powerful weapon. Nations of the world become worried that Japan might once again be creating an army, but later understand that it is only for the nation's protection.

Few years pass and Mecha Godzilla is built, which is named Kiryu. When Kiryu is revealed to the media, Godzilla once again shows his scaly face to the world and attacks a city. Kiryu is immediately sent to deal with the Godzilla menace once and for all.

Discarding all its weapons, except the Absolute Zero Cannon, Kiryu drives Godzilla back into the sea. But to the military's surprise, Kiryu suddenly goes berserk after hearing Godzilla's roar. It appears Kiryu had been built by the use of Godzilla DNA and rumored to harbor the original Godzilla skeleton. Kiryu has the original Godzilla's memories...it seems.

When repairs are made, the government is skeptical in using Kiryu again. But when Godzilla launches another attack on a Japanese City, and the military is helpless, they have no choice. Kiryu is sent into battle and after leaving the entire city in ruins, they finally have a chance to use the ultimate weapon: Absolute Zero Cannon.

Kiryu is able to fly out to sea, with a grip on Godzilla, and when both submerge under the water, the Absolute Zero Cannon is launched. The watery waves and the water itself turns to ice...but Godzilla rises out of the ice and heads to sea. Kiryu rises out of the water as well, with the sun glinting off its metallic surface. The battle had ended but the war itself hasn't even begun...

Fighting Power: ****
Kiryu is, in my opinion, the most dangerous of all Mecha Godzilla incarnations. Possessing a vast array of weaponry, Kiryu is designed to combat monsters and dish out punishment. Kiryu is also pretty agile and delivers power attacks. But, sadly, only three of Kiryu's weapons would really inflict more than minimal damage on monsters; electric blades, maser beam and Absolute Zero Cannon.

If Kiryu were to score a direct hit with its AZC, the fight would likely be over. Thus making Kiryu a serious threat to all kaiju...
Kiryu

Version 2

Height: 60 meters

Weight: 40,000 tons

Weapons: Maser beams released from its mouth; a pair of lasers mounted to each of Kiryu's wrists; right hand can morph into a drill; rocket boosters on back and sides that allows flying for a short span of time; has two shoulder mounted missile launchers on shoulders that can fire six homing missiles from the front, and eight on the sides; capable of energizing the entire body to inflict incredible force on impact; shoulder mounted rockets can fire and slam into its targets, then deliver a devastating explosion, and a Triple Hyper Maser deployed by compartments in its chest.

History: After its first conflict with Godzilla, Kiryu was taken by the JSDF and experienced extreme repairs. One year passed and Kiryu was still not completely repaired. When signs of Godzilla's return became evident, decisions were made to not fix the Absolute Zero Cannon. Instead, it was replaced with the Triple Hyper Maser. When asked by the fairies to trash the Kiryu project, the Japanese Government pondered on such a decision, knowing full well it would make them completely helpless should Godzilla strike again. Even when promised Mothra's production, the JSDF couldn't risk losing Kiryu until Godzilla was taken care of. The atomic saurian reared its head out of the ocean once more, trampling a Japanese district with its monstrous might. The injuries it received a year ago by Kiryu's Absolute Zero Cannon were noticeable, now reduced to a permanent scar embedded on its chest. The brave soldiers of the JSDF sacrificed their lives in trying to divert Godzilla's rampage, but died in vain.

The sky soon housed the benevolent Mothra that had come to save the people of Japan. Try as she might, Godzilla continued on his conquest of Japan's annihilation. The two giants fought late into the night, trading hideous blows and ripping into another's flesh. But it became apparent that Mothra would not last much longer. Feeling a friend is in need of their assistance, the JSDF launched Kiryu into battle. The pinnacle of Mankind's science met Nature's most powerful creation in the streets of Tokyo. Godzilla, a creature that only acted out of feral instinct, managed to remember its mechanical doppelganger.

Tokyo suffered the wrath of the two dueling giants, each trying to overcome the other in every possible way. Mothra knew she wouldn't last longer, eventually being assisted by her offspring. But even the combined might of Kiryu, Mothra and her Larva, and the brave forces of the JSDF Military, Godzilla reigned supreme. During the confrontation, Kiryu is temporarily damaged and unable to combat the atomic saurian. As quick and decisive repairs are made to the mechanical dragon, Mothra saves her young by Godzilla's fearsome atomic blast, and dies in the process. It isn't long until Kiryu is repaired, and combats Godzilla once again. The pilots of Kiryu strategically used their time well, plunging Kiryu's drill into the monster's abdomen and ripping it open. Caught in a moment of pain, Godzilla was unable to react quick enough to prevent Kiryu from unleashing the full fury of the Triple Hyper Maser cannons in its open wound.

Unable to cope with the intense pain, Godzilla fell to the ground, being ensnared by the webbing the Mothra Larva released. When ordered to finish him, Kiryu once again went berserk, and sought to rescue its son. Everyone watched in amazement as Kiryu took Godzilla to the sea, the two disappearing in the ocean's depth, never to bother humanity again…

Fighting Power: ****

There are variables when it comes to Kiryu's fighting strategy, being piloted by humans being the main reason; however, we won't allow that to undermine Kiryu's fighting power. While deprived of the potent Absolute Zero Cannon, Kiryu still receives the same rating. It had also received an upgrade in terms of firepower. Without the Absolute Zero Cannon, Kiryu is able to fight even longer without the loss of a massive amount of energy. Combined with its incredible firepower, agility and durability, Kiryu is one of the best mechanical creations ever made to combat monsters. The fact that its Triple Hyper Maser is a devastating weapon but doesn't take up an incredible amount of energy is a plus. There's not much more to add.
