Mecha-King Ghidorah

Height: 140 meters

Weight: 80,000 tons

Wingspan: 175 meters

Powers: Fly by means of using a form of antigravity, which is capable of reaching speeds of mach 4. Mecha-King Ghidorah can spew electric-gravity beams from the mouths of the organic heads. From its central, mechanical head, Mecha-King Ghidorah is capable of emitting a devastating plasma beam. If need be, Mecha-King Ghidorah can deploy its 'Godzilla Grips' from the chest region, which resembles a large hand-like object, along with smaller cables used to restrain the arms and legs of its captive. Once deployed, these armaments can deliver an electrifying shock. The restraints are also strong enough to carry a large creature across long distances.

History: In 1992, King Ghidorah had shown itself to the 'World of Man'. Originally, King Ghidorah was created with the sole purpose of replacing Godzilla from space and time, to conquer Japan and the rest of the world from people in the future. But fate intervened in the form of the nuclear saurian, whose atomic blasts lay siege to King Ghidorah's massive body, ripping it apart. King Ghidorah landed in the ocean, where for over 200 years; the three-headed mutation lay dormant. People from the future, whose technology allowed them to travel through time, felt sympathy for the people of our time and took the carcass of the giant beast, resurrecting him in the form of a cyborg!

Returning to our modern era, Mecha-King Ghidorah encountered Godzilla. Being piloted by one of the members who had been apart of a renegade group bent on destroying our time, the pilot was among those who felt sympathy for our people. Eagerly hoping to redeem the people from the future and show their gratitude, the pilot controlled Mecha-King Ghidorah to eradicate the King of the Monsters by any means necessary; however, even with the advanced weaponry the cyborg had at its disposal was not enough. Desperately, Mecha-King Ghidorah detained Godzilla and transported the radioactive saurian miles away from human civilization. In an act of vengeance, Godzilla spewed forth an atomic blast that inflicted the final blow to the cyborg. Mecha-King Ghidorah, along with Godzilla, descended to the frigid surface of the ocean and disappeared beneath the waves. The pilot escaped and returned to her time; Godzilla later swam away and would not appear for another year.

…But Mecha-King Ghidorah was left alone for only 2 years. When the United Nations and the Japanese Council needed a weapon capable of defeating Godzilla, they uncovered the secrets of the advance technology in Mecha-King Ghidorah's circuits. It is not known what became of the actual body.

Fighting Power: ****

Mecha-King Ghidorah is a step above its original incarnation in the form of King Ghidorah. Possessing not only the destructive electric gravity beams the organic dragon emitted, but also an improved energy blast delivered from its new central head. Its newly added armor helped improve the creature's defenses, assisting the cyborg from receiving horrible wounds. But despite being given new armor, Mecha-King Ghidorah's metallic features could still be damaged by a projectile on par with Heisei Godzilla's ray or beyond. The cyborg's control over the gravitational forces of the planet allows it to manifest a form of antigravity, traveling at speeds faster than it could achieve in its former organic life. The 'Godzilla Grips' would prove useful to not only Godzilla, but other monsters that share a strange physical resemblance to the King of the Monsters. While they were designed for the sole purpose of dealing with Godzilla, it is obvious that they could prove to be effective against other kaiju if deployed. The electrifying jolt they each can deliver is enough to stagger even the mightiest monsters; Godzilla for example. They are even sturdy enough to keep a physical brute like Godzilla from breaking free, at least for long periods of time. Despite these comments that helps prove of why I give him a Number 4 rating in terms of fighting power, there are weaknesses. For one, it is not known how Mecha-King Ghidorah would act if there was no pilot there to control it. The statistics concerning the flaws in Mecha-King Ghidorah's armor had been covered above. The wings are the most likely to be hindered during battle, but the cyborg would still be able to fly despite these injuries. The cockpit just barely beneath the middle-head could prove to be another weak spot. But these flaws and mysteries do not take away the rating I have already given to the mighty cyborg from the future.
