Megalon is unleashed upon the surface-dwellers of Earth as a punishment for mankind, due to the endless underground nuclear testing which had devastated the subterranean kingdom. Megalon was aided by Gigan, the cyborg-monster from the Nebula M Spacehunter, in his conquest to extract revenge upon the people of Earth. However, Megalon and Gigan could not stand up to the strength of Godzilla and his robotic ally, Jet Jaguar, and Megalon was sent beating a hasty retreat back to Seatopia. It is unknown if the Seatopians will unleash Megalon once more, as a deadly form of punishment for mankind’s reckless nuclear testing. Fighting Description: Megalon sports an impressive arsenal of powers, including his drill-bit hands, lightening-spewing horn, and the ability to eject explosive napalm bombs from his mouth. With this massive array of weapons, Megalon has the potential to be a deadly and lethal beast. Unfortunately, Megalon does not reach this level. Megalon is labeled as a stupid, bumbling, unintelligent fool by many, and he truly is. Dim-witted in combat, Megalon lacks the intelligence to become a true fighter. All brawn and no brain, Megalon is simply a less-than-average fighter. |
