Saturday Horror #89 Like a never ending dark void, the black recesses of space continued to act as a realm of where lesser beings stared into it endlessly. Illuminating a small fraction of the endless void, stars acted as a beacon of hope. Space represented exactly what its name would describe. The inhabitants of this endless maze of mystery possessed unique and one of a kind personalities that create their own outlook. The imagination of what one can conjure is limitless. The universe that you see everyday, every time you look up into the sky, has that same quality. Those that are blind and try to see the heavens are the lucky ones. They are not blinded by the arrogance and greed that looms in us all. What they see is exactly what they want to witness. Take heed to their ways and try to open up your own mind, to find that meaning we all crave to discover. But from this endless void, the spawn of an Evil as old as Time, spiraled through the blackness, intent on reaching a specific point in the universe. Why had it suddenly appeared? Had it been the creation of our own suffering? Truth be told, it was spawned by a being whose Evil was known through out the galaxy. Even to those who committed horrific deeds and conjured despair to those around them, the Evil being had been involved. But exactly what is Evil? Is it a figment of our own imaginations, trying to justify certain aspects of our own reality? Is there truly a balance between Good and Evil? And if there is, is our justification correct on the true identities of such meanings? Whatever the philosophies that continue to drive us on our road through life, it was clear: whoever the traveler was, its intent was creating havoc upon its arrival. Exactly as it was instructed… The journey had lasted for centuries. Space and time had not influenced the demeanor of the traveler. In its quest for dominion over a world filled with clashes that differed from one another, it had encountered entities responsible in one way or another that had reached and interfered with the natural order of its target. Crystal organisms that radiated with the divine power of telekinesis had met with this strange traveler. "Stay," the crystal organisms muttered in the subconscious of the traveler. But if the traveler had stayed, it would've interrupted its mission. Its prime objective was infecting a world whose existence is still a mystery to its inhabitants. But the crystal organisms continued to urge the traveler to stay. But upon examining the traveler's biology, it would've meant suicide. The crystal organisms were familiar with fusing with other life forms, creating a new creature that they had control over. Only by fusing with this strange traveler, they would become the opposite of what they crave. The traveler moved on, never knowing the crystal organisms had helped create a cosmic terror stationed on the planet it was searching for. A being that was a combination of the intelligence and telekinetic power the crystals had to offer and the might of a living creature that symbolized the fury of our wildest imaginations. A being known only as Space Godzilla. Striving forward, intent on reaching its destination before it could be destroyed by its own offspring, the traveler met others that were responsible for the events that had transpired on the planet it was searching for. It met a colony of aliens whose sole purpose was absorbing the DNA of other organisms and evolving into a superior life form. These aliens could fundamentally be responsible for giving birth to all life in the universe. Aliens that attempted to evolve by processing the information of a creature that was able to heal its wounds instantly and live forever. The confrontation was a failure and eventually spawned a monster known as Orga. The traveler had seen planets scourged of life. It was not the work of nature, but by another traveler who traveled through these areas years ago. It was the work of a life form capable of wiping out life anywhere in the galaxy. It was a creature that enjoyed the thirst of destruction and decay. Chaos is all that would satisfy its appetite for death. The traveler had found the path of a galactic exterminator. A path which lead the creature to the planet it was looking for. Yes, the traveler had indeed found the past worlds devastated by King Ghidorah's wrath. Finally, after years of traveling, the traveler's eyes gazed upon a world that was covered with beauty. It had reached its destination and now the traveler was looking forward to purging all of the free will the world had to offer; to infect the organisms of the planet and fuse with their molecular structures, becoming a new hybrid of destruction. Breaking through the atmosphere that attempted to roast its body, the traveler flung its body through the dense clouds in the planet's sky. It wasn't long until it reached an area covered with vines, trees and crawling with life. The impact the traveler had been enough to cause the floor of the jungle to shake. The plant life was engulfed in flames. Creatures that could not escape the flame's wrath were burned alive. Smoke churned from the hellish wasteland of death. Amidst the flames and smoke, the traveler patiently waited. Its hunger continued to grow and that urge to feed would later become insatiable. But it still awaited the order of command to begin its reign of terror. *** The sky had been scorched by the chaos and mayhem occurring on the world below. Battle Island was covered with rubble and blood. Stands of where millions of fans once were, watching the monsters fight for their own entertainment, was destroyed and reduced to rubble. The large screens that allowed everyone to see exactly what was going on were burned beyond repair, some even lying on the ground. The Announcing Booth had been blasted off the face of the planet. The arena that once represented the city had been demolished, only a few buildings still stood. Large craters took up residence in the city area. The fields of where tanks, rocket-launchers and maser cannons was a graveyard. State of the art weaponry lied across the wounded field. The lands that were covered with boulders and forest were burned severely. But despite the damages inflicted upon the island, the cries of war continued to graze the region. Scales that mimicked a golden essence of beauty was plowed by energetic projectiles. Loud, chaotic cackles escaped the twelve mandibles of King Ghidorah. The twelve-headed dragon scavenged the land with spears of light that rippled from its mouths. Where the bolts of energy struck, the ground ascended high into the air. Impact craters were scattered in every direction. The monsters that had come to stop King Ghidorah's wrath were taking cover. Dust clogged the air, casting a haze of smoke across the battlefield and making vision difficult to bear. But King Ghidorah's reptilian eyes glared through the thickness of the smoke and could see his enemies all to well. Covered with his own blood, Zarkorr hid in a large impact crater. Blood gushed out of his own wounds, which were stationed around his chest and mouth. Never before had the space demon suffered such severe injuries. Zarkorr's hide was immune to any type of weapon on the face of the planet, in yet its immunity to other space creatures did not exist, thus Zarkorr was at the mercy of a creature whose power would allow it to cleanse the planet of all life. A bolt of energy cascaded into the area of where Zarkorr was hiding, blasting the edge of the crater to pieces. The ground fell down the slopes of the crater, causing Zarkorr to fall face first. The space demon shook off the dirt that had stuck to his hide and looked up to see one of King Ghidorah's heads looking down at him. In an angry hiss, King Ghidorah's head descended towards Zarkorr and clamped its jaws around the space demon's throat. Zarkorr cried out in pain, but his painful roar never escaped his mouth. The strength King Ghidorah's jaws applied were enough to squeeze Zarkorr's throat shut. Blood oozed out of the wounds the teeth made. Swerving across the area, Space Godzilla's corona beam struck the snout of King Ghidorah's face and detonated in a fiery explosion. King Ghidorah released its deadly hold on Zarkorr's throat. The mighty dragon's head pulled away from Zarkorr and looked directly at Space Godzilla, who stood a few miles away. Saliva that sizzled with electric currents, dripped from the bowels of King Ghidorah's jaw. A bolt of golden lightning leapt out of King Ghidorah's mouth and lanced into a visible barrier that formed in front of Space Godzilla's chest. The bolt of energy washed across its surface and went into all directions, avoiding any harm it had to offer to the cosmic saurian. Space Godzilla's scarlet eyes glared at one of King Ghidorah's heads. Zarkorr's own eyes gleamed with the fury its state of mind felt. Kinetic waves of energy danced across the surface of Zarkorr's eyes. Energy blasts lanced out of Zarkorr's eyes and struck the long neck that King Ghidorah's head was attached to. A barrier made from the light and power of Zarkorr's own eye beams formed, blocking Zarkorr's offensive assault. As Space Godzilla and Zarkorr attempted to fend off just one of King Ghidorah's demonic heads, the rest of the gigantic dragon of destruction met opposition. El Gusano leapt out of the ground, throwing chunks of rock and concrete in all directions, as the massive worm flung its body towards King Ghidorah. The worm's huge jaws latched onto King Ghidorah's chest, ripping its huge teeth into the golden scales of the dragon. Several of King Ghidorah's heads descended upon El Gusano, ripping their sharp teeth into El Gusano's hide. El Gusano released its hold upon King Ghidorah and cried out in pain. When the heads relinquished their grip upon the giant worm, El Gusano turned around and smacked their heads with his clubbed tail. The leviathan of a worm crawled into the hole it made earlier and burrowed away. From the skies above, Melba flew swiftly through the air and fired a barrage of energy blasts from her eyes. The energy blasts rained down upon King Ghidorah's body, only to be stopped by the energetic barriers that formed seconds before the impacts were made. Flying hundreds of feet away from Melba was the swift and agile Megaguirus. Megaguirus felt the plasma she had consumed from other life forms flow from her wings and into her abdomen region. A plasma ball formed and with the flap of her wings, Megaguirus released the plasma ball into the direction of where King Ghidorah stood. The plasma ball struck King Ghidorah's body, covering the dragon in an explosion. But when the explosion died and King Ghidorah was still alive, not even scratched, Megaguirus attempted to seek cover. Melba followed, no longer attempting to pour her eye beams into King Ghidorah anymore. Megaguirus and Melba flew away, avoiding bolts of golden energy that tried to blast them into oblivion. Melba felt the wind soar through her wings as she flew gracefully away from the demonic dragon. She hollered a loud cry to warn the monsters on the land below that her attacks had failed. Megaguirus didn't release any cry at all, instead she flew as far away as she could. But one of King Ghidorah's heads swiftly tore through the air, extending the length of its neck in the process. The head of the diabolical terror from space entangled its teeth in one of Megaguirus' legs. The giant dragonfly from another dimension screeched in agony. Rather to live without a leg than not live at all, Megaguirus flapped her wings and pulled away from the fearsome dragon, which ripped her leg off her body in return. Flying straight up into the sky, Megaguirus' pain was dwarfed by her growing rage. She twirled her body around and dove straight towards King Ghidorah's head, increasing her speed with each passing second. Megaguirus' pincer claw slashed into King Ghidorah's neck and after succeeding in her physical assault, Megaguirus flew away, out of King Ghidorah's reach. The wound Megaguirus had inflicted was deep. Crimson blood leaked out of the wound. But soon, golden scales sprouted from within the injury and quickly covered it. It looked good as new. A cauldron of smoke defied gravity by rising to the sky. Space Godzilla's body was shrouded by the haze of smoke. The cosmic saurian tried to glare through the thick material, but even his eyes were rendered blind. But the entity from space felt a presence not far. No, it wasn't Zarkorr or King Ghidorah. It was another leviathan whose Evil rivaled his own. In a war against the 'King of Terror' and a 'Galactic Dictator', it would've been thought that there could not be any other being involved that hadn't chosen sides. But there was. The creature's eyes gleamed through the thickness of the smoke, casting an eerie array of fear to the inured cosmic saurian. Space Godzilla released a warning cry, but it was replied with a chaotic roar. The ground quaked in the creature's wake as it stomped to meet Space Godzilla in battle. "Who are you?" Space Godzilla demanded. Surges of cosmic energies flared out of Space Godzilla's injured shoulder crystals consecutively. It would take hours, maybe even days, to re-grow them. But the cosmic saurian knew that chances of living to actually full fill such a miracle are slim. And now this unknown adversary was coming for his head. Summoning his inner power, Space Godzilla opened his jaws and out of his gaping mouth, a torrent of cosmic energy was unleashed. The corona beam hurled its energetic form into the gargantuan beast that tried to defy his power. But even when the corona beams lanced into the carapace of this mysterious individual, it did not slow the monster down. It continued to walk forth; despite releasing painful grunts, it would not be stopped. It was a horrible time for his power to be at its worst state. If his corona beams possessed the lethal strength it would normally have, maybe the creature could've been stopped. But now, Space Godzilla would have to rely on a form of combat that he would rather not take part in: physical confrontation. Space Godzilla's claws prepared to rip into the approaching beast; Space Godzilla's tail was waiting to be used at a moment's notice. Stepping close enough to see, Space Godzilla's extraterrestrial eyes were exposed to the identity of his latest foe. Destroyah… "You," Space Godzilla snarled in disbelief. The spawn of the Oxygen Destroyer had come to slay the cosmic saurian whose DNA is a mixture of the King of the Monster's and a crystallized organism. Why had Destroyah chosen him? "Destroyah, even I have my own motives to destroy these worthless creatures, but all in due time. There is a threat that threatens my plans and superiority, thus these inferior pests are needed. Surely even you can see that your power is no match for King Ghidorah?" But Destroyah didn't say anything. Exhaust from the micro-oxygen flowing through Destroyah's body, vented out of the outskirts of his face. The walking titan of death glared into Space Godzilla's eyes. The long horn that stretched out of Destroyah's forehead crackled with power. Bolts of raw power pulsated with an amber-like glow. The light of the amber made Destroyah's horn shine even brighter. Opening its jaws, which were filled with hundreds of teeth, Destroyah leaned forward and fired its micro-oxygen ray. The stream of energy plowed into a visible barrier that formed in front of Space Godzilla's body. But in his weakened state, even Space Godzilla's shield was giving in to Destroyah's power. Seconds passed and Space Godzilla's shield gave away. Destroyah's micro-oxygen ray plowed through the barrier and struck Space Godzilla's chest, piercing his thick hide and in the process knocking him off his feet. Space Godzilla's body slid across the ground, impaling the soil with his ridged body. The grueling slide Space Godzilla endured had caused pieces of his shoulder crystals and spines to be ripped off. Shards of his crystals lay scattered across the battle field. Streaks of light poured out of Zarkorr's eyes, attempting to blow scorching holes in the Ghidorah head that threatened his existence. King Ghidorah's head dodged the streaks of light and when it couldn't, the light given off by the energy beams formed a barrier that rendered Zarkorr's assault useless. It was playing games with the space demon. The head of the 'King of Terror' ascended straight up, disappearing in the surrounding haze that consumed the air. Zarkorr felt his blood seep out of his wounds. The cold, moist air froze his blood. Zarkorr detested this embrace of cold air. But a howling cry of his master caught Zarkorr's attention. Zarkorr leapt through the air, not knowing who or what might attack him. But the space demon didn't care and had no worries of the unknown. Zarkorr's feet collided with the ground and caused it to tremble. His ghostly eyes can see Space Godzilla lying on the ground, injured. Smoke rose from the scorched wound on Space Godzilla's chest. The cosmic saurian was barely awake. Stomping towards Space Godzilla's carcass was his attacker. Destroyah released a savage cry and his horn crackled with power. Zarkorr's eyes surged with energy and released dazzling streaks of light from his eyes. The eye beams tore into Destroyah's chest, ripping the layers of armor piece by piece. Destroyah screamed a painful cry. But despite his wrath now diverted from the fallen Space Godzilla, Destroyah's wrathful eyes now turned directly at Zarkorr. Micro-oxygen poured out of Destroyah's mouth, quickly transforming into energy. Zarkorr jumped high into the air, allowing the micro-oxygen ray to hit and detonate the ground below. The ground of where Zarkorr once stood was now the site of an impact crater. As Zarkorr's body still remained aloft, its eyes acted like a chain gun, firing rounds of energy from his eyes every second. Like daggers molded into kinetic bolts of energy, Zarkorr's eye beams struck Destroyah's body and attempted to pulverize the gargantuan. But such attacks were minimal at best. Destroyah prepared to blast Zarkorr out of the sky, but something…or someone…had other plans. One of King Ghidorah's heads wrapped itself around Zarkorr's body. Like a serpent attempting to squeeze the life out of its prey, the head bit into Zarkorr's throat. Zarkorr had stopped in mid-air, unable to move or breathe. With all his available strength, Zarkorr tried to release King Ghidorah's grip, but it was useless. The fangs of the dragon from the stars slipped past Zarkorr's open-wound and sank deeper into the throat. Electricity rippled out of King Ghidorah's fangs and Zarkorr's entire body was being electrocuted. The electricity didn't bother the rest of the neck that still constricted Zarkorr's body. Zarkorr's eyes boiled from the electric currents. Zarkorr felt his energy be purged from his body. All fluid inside the space demon's carcass was being drained. Zarkorr was dehydrated. He also felt death grasping his very dark, twisted soul. Everything was going dark, until Zarkorr's ears heard a sound that was pleasant; it was the sound of King Ghidorah crying in pain. Zarkorr's eyes opened just in time to see the ground come closer and closer, until the aberration's face struck the soil. Zarkorr pushed off the ground, rising to his upright position. Examining the surrounding environment, Zarkorr's eyes closed in on the remains of the head that seized him. Pieces of the head and throat rested on the terrain all around. "Dead," Zarkorr declared happily, feeling his stomach growl and urging the space demon to devour the remains. But then a thought entered Zarkorr's mind, asking him to find out exactly how this happened. He wasn't responsible for this deed, how could he be? Zarkorr turned towards his fallen master, Space Godzilla and was shocked to see him still lying on the ground, unconscious. Zarkorr slowly turned to see Destroyah land on the ground a few thousand feet away. As Destroyah's feet pushed into the ground, it kicked up dirt and gravel that succeeded in rising higher than even Destroyah's own height! Zarkorr felt the tremors race through the ground beneath his feet. Never before had Zarkorr laid his eyes on such a huge, magnificent instrument of death. "Its flesh cuts easily," Destroyah exclaimed in a loud, brutal voice. Destroyah's horn crackled with a bright gradient of energy. A split second later, micro-oxygen leapt out of Destroyah's gaping maw and became pure energy. Destroyah's micro-oxygen ray struck Zarkorr's body and barely succeeded in pushing him back. Zarkorr's face molded into a smile… "Why you not perish?" The spawn of the Oxygen Destroyer declared angrily. Destroyah snarled a ballistic cry as he stomped towards the space demon that was immune to his micro-oxygen ray. Zarkorr let his guard down, feeling an emotion of relief, knowing his body is resistant to whatever form of weapon Destroyah has in his arsenal. Destroyah moved closer and when he was in range, Destroyah spun around and latched the tip of his tail across Zarkorr's throat. Destroyah heaved Zarkorr straight into the air and slammed the demon from space into the ground. But even the hard soil could not damage the already battered Zarkorr! Destroyah's strength alone could beat even Godzilla into oblivion if given the chance, in yet Zarkorr didn't feel a thing. Destroyah paused, trying to contemplate the current events. His raw, brutal force had failed at breaking this smaller foe. Anger shrouded Destroyah's judgment and the leviathan pulled Zarkorr closer with his tail. Pressing Zarkorr's face into the ground, Zarkorr couldn't really do anything if he tried. Destroyah raised his sharp claws and started thrashing Zarkorr's back, hoping to slice Zarkorr's skin right off. In yet, striking Zarkorr's hide with his claws only caused sparks to fly off after each swipe. Destroyah ceased his assaults and allowed Zarkorr to rise up. Zarkorr did just that and if there were any spectators watching, they couldn't believe that a creature half Destroyah's size was able to take such brutal beatings and still stand without any injuries dealt by the attacker. While the wounds Ghidorah inflicted were still there, Zarkorr had not yet received any injuries of any kind from Destroyah. Destroyah reached down and squeezed Zarkorr's damaged throat, hoping to bury his claws in the space demon's esophagus. But Destroyah's hopes were instantly shattered. Angered by these strange circumstances, Destroyah lifted Zarkorr into the air with one arm and plunged his opponent into the ground. The impact alone caused the ground to rise up and engulf the monsters in smoke. As Destroyah and Zarkorr fought one another, Space Godzilla's body was exposed to a cold rush of wind that swept across his body. Space Godzilla's eyes slowly opened and looked directly up at the sky. The battle with King Ghidorah had lasted for hours. What once would've been a blue sky with white clouds was now a dark sky with stars shining brightly. Some of those stars Space Godzilla had seen first hand before arriving on the planet. Energy that once pulsated through his veins was small in quantity. Space Godzilla needed to consume energy soon or death would be imminent. Slowly, Space Godzilla leaned up off the ground and examined the battle field. His follower was in battle with Destroyah and fighting valiantly. "Zarkorr will keep Destroyah busy for some time," Space Godzilla thought and tried to locate another energy source, a source that would allow even his shoulder crystals to rejuvenate. Such a thing had never been done; such a thing Space Godzilla never needed to do. In the distance, Space Godzilla spotted Biokamitra, who was still licking his wounds from his confrontation with King Ghidorah. It wouldn't be long until Biokamitra attacks the dragon once again. Space Godzilla had to make his move now. A current of cosmic power flowed across Space Godzilla's body. Discharging a ball of cosmic power from his mouth, Space Godzilla watched as it was hurled through the air and struck the unsuspecting Biokamitra. "What the devil?" Biokamitra hollered, after being blinded by the bright fabrics of light the orb gave off. It struck Biokamitra's sternum and detonated in a violent explosion. The impact alone blasted a hole through Biokamitra's chest cavity and out of his back. Damaged body tissue tried to escape the boundaries of Biokamitra's wound, but the heat discharged from the explosion incinerated it to nothing but tiny particles. Biokamitra helplessly began to fall to the ground, but keeping him at bay in an upright position was the presence of crystals that poked out of Biokamitra's body and stabbed the ground. Biokamitra closed his eyes and allowed the pain to sweep his savage mind away. Drifting into a deep sleep, it was Biokamitra's only defense against such nerve racking agony. His blood dripped down the slopes of the crystals that had literally grown out of his body. Sticking out of his backs were several other crystals that pulsated with an inner glow. Sapping Biokamitra of the energy that keeps him alive, the crystals absorbed his life force. From the apex of the crystals that jolted out, beams comprised of Biokamitra's energy had been unleashed and shot across the area, striking Space Godzilla's damaged shoulder crystals. Normally, it would've taken an unknown amount of time that would require patience and a disregard of pain, but Space Godzilla had chosen to acquire a source that would speed up the process. Even now, Space Godzilla felt the crystals on his shoulder regenerate the lost material that once was there. The energy sacs deep down inside Space Godzilla's shoulders fed off the energy that felt refreshing. With this energy, Space Godzilla's entire body was growing stronger. Biokamitra's life force had decreased dramatically, his skin color deteriorating. The natural bodily fluids disappeared in large quantities. In whatever dream Biokamitra was experiencing, the anomaly had no idea that his entire existence was being threatened; Space Godzilla on the other hand was experiencing an entirely different revelation. Now Space Godzilla's foreign claws gripped the ground and pushed off of it. Using a combination of his physical strength and telekinesis, Space Godzilla drifted to his feet and stood tall. The shoulder crystals had now fully healed and illuminated with a bright texture of power. Spores of Space Godzilla's cosmic power flocculated out of his body and scurried through the battered ground. A forest of crystals burst out of the ground and lit the area in an aura of light. Bolts of energy gathered by the surrounding particles had been absorbed and discharged into Space Godzilla's shoulder crystals, feeding the cosmic saurian on the spot. Space Godzilla shifted his gaze upon the torn and wrecked body of Biokamitra. "You still are needed," Space Godzilla telekinetically muttered, "another time, you will try to achieve vengeance, but for now you shall be grateful that I spare your life." The crystals that jolted out of Biokamitra's body, dissolved into tiny shards. Biokamitra's lump body fell to the ground, barely alive. Space Godzilla turned away from the battered creature and focused on the fight that involved his follower. Zarkorr leapt onto Destroyah's body, attempting to maim Destroyah with his claws and teeth. Destroyah hollered in anger and used his unholy strength to knock Zarkorr off of his body. Zarkorr was fast on the attack again, but Destroyah's horn gleamed with the fury of a red giant and extended its length in an energetic form. Destroyah's laser horn slashed into Zarkorr's body; if Zarkorr had been any other creature, it would've met certain death. But Zarkorr's immunity had allowed him to escape Destroyah's wrath unscathed. Destroyah growled a devastating roar of dissatisfaction. The spawn of the Oxygen Destroyer whipped its body around and collided with Zarkorr. Zarkorr went flying through the air, helpless in yet undamaged by the physical blow Destroyah's tail tried to excrete. It wasn't long until Zarkorr's body was entangled in a web of telekinesis. Irradiating a green aura all around, the telekinetic web safely lowered Zarkorr to the ground. Zarkorr turned towards Space Godzilla, who descended from the heavens… "Master, you have healed!" Zarkorr shouted happily. In his flying form, Space Godzilla lowered closer to the ground. Crystals that were erected to be large enough to even outclass some monsters gleamed with the full fury of the inner power they possessed within. The crimson orbs that represented Space Godzilla's eyes glared at the terrifying form of Destroyah, who was walking towards them. With his increase in power, Space Godzilla's power would be enough to at least stop Destroyah in his tracks. Manifesting a portion of his cosmic power to his jaws, Space Godzilla exhaled the full fury of his corona beams. The corona beams swirled around Destroyah's body and slashed into his throat, detonating in an explosion that ruptured Destroyah's hide. The corona beams didn't stop there. As if they had a mind of their own, they continued to stab and explode in other areas of Destroyah's body. Smoke ascended from the blacken wounds Space Godzilla's corona beams at inscribed on Destroyah's body. Lowering closer to the ground, the crystals erected out of Space Godzilla's back decreased in size and stature. Space Godzilla's shoulder crystals no longer pointed straight ahead and now pointed upwards. Still retaining the power that only recently was given to him, Space Godzilla prepared to drive Destroyah away by any means necessary. Zarkorr's eyes became entombed with the power its alien cadaver had to offer. Space Godzilla's shoulder crystals blossomed with cosmic power. Feeling threatened, Destroyah's own horn crackled with dominance. The monsters prepared to unleash hell upon one another. But before the war could erupt, it felt as if a force of nature swept across the battle field and pulled the ground out of its foundations! The surrounding haze of smoke was blown away and the monsters tried to not be caught up in the rage of the blowing winds. Space Godzilla summoned his telekinetic might and kept his body at bay; Zarkorr embedded his claws deep into the terrain and would not budge; Destroyah allowed his massive body to be hit by the fury of the howling winds that had come to ensnare him in their rage. Destroyah flapped his massive wings and pushed against the raging winds, until finally they ceased. All three monsters turned and gazed up at the night sky, only to see the night chased away by the golden glows emitted by King Ghidorah. The 'King of Terror' flew overhead; his giant wings still releasing strong currents of wind upon the world below. Space Godzilla opened his jaws and fired his corona beams, which lanced into King Ghidorah's unearthly form. Zarkorr joined his master in the assault, firing a salvo of energy blasts from his eyes. Destroyah desecrated the air with his micro-oxygen ray that was on a mission to reduce King Ghidorah to a flying skeleton. But all of their attacks were quickly met with opposition. Barriers fabricated by the beams' own light stopped the projectiles in their tracks. Projectiles from other monsters in different sections of the battle field impacted King Ghidorah's body, meeting the same opposition over and over again. All eleven heads of the giant dragon scourged the ground with his electric bolts that were a mixture of electricity and gravitational manipulation. Impact craters formed wherever the bolts struck. Monsters that were hit by the devastating beams felt their bodies sink into the ground, feeling a pain unlike any other. On an island that had been preparing a counter attack for hours, prepared to unleash their fury on the creature that had turned Battle Island into an apocalyptic scenario. Military Island targeted King Ghidorah and on the command of the one in charge, hundreds upon thousands of missiles designed to pierce the flesh of even the strongest monsters were hurled through the air, being guided by advanced computers, towards a foe whose power could destroy the world. Leaving a trail of smoke in their wake, the missiles closed in… Space Godzilla watched as King Ghidorah laid waste to the area in only a few seconds. Summoning energy from his crystal deposits, Space Godzilla fired his corona beams effortlessly. He even ripped the jagged crystals out of the ground and hurled them towards King Ghidorah. As the sharp tips struck King Ghidorah's golden scales, they shattered on impact, proving they are not sharp enough to penetrate. Space Godzilla, Zarkorr and Destroyah watched King Ghidorah fly above them, unchallenged. But their paths of visual were cut off when their eyes were beseeched by a blinding explosion. The blinding explosion was made up of thousands. Fiery balls screamed as they entered this world by submerging their hot forms in King Ghidorah's hide. Even the thickness of King Ghidorah's golden scales could not withstand the explosive might the missiles had to offer. King Ghidorah was a master of manipulating gravity, in yet now even he was powerless to stop his body from falling closer to the ground. The collision between King Ghidorah's body and the earth was enough to shake the entire island. Cracks splintered through the terrain as if it were butter. Space Godzilla hovered off the ground and remained aloft in the air; showing gratitude, Space Godzilla's shoulder crystals rippled with telekinetic bolts that ensnared Zarkorr and picked him off the ground as well. Destroyah was left with no options, other then falling forward into the ground. The tremors ceased. Space Godzilla lowered his associate to the ground. Zarkorr cast a stare in Destroyah's direction, flattered to see the leviathan struggling to rise to his stature. Space Godzilla's orbs were locked on King Ghidorah. Conventional weapons had succeeded in harming the creature. "I don't believe it, the humans have a use for something after all," Space Godzilla blurted out loud in an intelligent manner. "Besides death…" Zarkorr's eyes spotted the wounds King Ghidorah received. In over a hundred different areas of the creature's body, red blood drenched out of the open wounds. The predatory senses of the alien invader urged Zarkorr to go quench his thirst. "Master," Zarkorr muttered desperately, turning to face Space Godzilla. "Be patient," Space Godzilla said before Zarkorr could finish. "Your time will come, but until that day, your appetite will have to wait." Zarkorr snarled in disapproval, but didn't dare to do anything more. A howling cry came from behind them. Space Godzilla and Zarkorr turned to see an enraged Destroyah coming closer. Space Godzilla flew straight up into the dark sky, charging up another salvo of his corona beams. Zarkorr stood his ground, willing to compete in another fight against a foe whose power could rip any other creature apart but was ultimately inferior. Destroyah's horn shimmered with the bright texture of the power that was a prelude of things to come. The living Oxygen Destroyer opened up his maw and fired an explosive dose of his micro-oxygen ray. It sped up; closing in on Zarkorr until it finally was close enough for impact. But Zarkorr couldn't believe that the micro-oxygen ray passed over his head. One of King Ghidorah's heads had crept up behind Zarkorr and was preparing to strike the space demon, but Destroyah's micro-oxygen ray plowed the dragon's face and drilled it back. Destroyah walked close enough for Zarkorr and Space Godzilla to hear. "You fought well, young one," Destroyah said towards Zarkorr. There was no animosity in Destroyah's voice. His scarlet eyes looked down upon a startled Zarkorr. Destroyah now turned towards Space Godzilla. "I shall assist in destroying this dragon, but when it is slain, I will see to it that you are annihilated." Space Godzilla replied in a loud, terrifying roar, accepting Destroyah's offer. Now all three monsters turned towards King Ghidorah, who now was healing from his wounds after being exposed to an all out conventional assault. All twenty-two eyes fiercely caught the trio in their sights. Anger was apparent in King Ghidorah's gaze. It saw Space Godzilla, the cosmic saurian who had been able to survive his wrath and dish out pain in the process; Zarkorr, a fellow alien life form who exhibits a strong resistance to pain and finally Destroyah, the one who had taken off one of King Ghidorah's heads. They all will suffer for their impudence. But they were not the only ones who will feel the wrath of ages. Soaring through the night sky, hoping to carry out another assault, was Melba and Megaguirus. Tunneling beneath the ground, planning to attack at any moment, was El Gusano. *** Somewhere far from Earth, in a realm outside the boundaries of the imagination, is a hellish wasteland. In this wasteland of pain and misery, where slaves in the billions attempt to work day and night for their survival, there was a war unlike any other; where Man, Machine and Beast combined their efforts to stop a Galactic Dictator who hopes to eradicate their home world. The ground itself is a living organism, constantly being burned and ripped open by the warriors that fought on it. In a certain sector of this unholy place, there was an ongoing battle between a hybrid of science and sorcery who sought the death of the pinnacle of Mankind's greatest achievements: the Evangelions. A tower loomed overhead. Fires sprang out through out the city; slaves were being devoured by the vermin that had broken out. Fresh blood was spilt on the ground, only to be quickly consumed by the living terrain. The haul of the tower burst open and Evangelion Unit 4 fell out of the massive structure. Evangelion Unit 4 slammed into the ground, being covered in rubble in no time. In the penetration that had been made in the side of the tower, Kongzilla peaked out. His claws gripped the outskirts of the haul, his devious eyes looking down upon the buried Eva. But from above, missile-sized bullets seared into Kongzilla's upper body, hoping to blow off chunks of his hide in the process. The attack was a failure, but it continued to happen, even when Kongzilla ascended his gaze at the source. From the apex of the tower, Eva Unit 1 was unloading rounds and rounds of ammunition from his hand-held rifle. The purple Eva leapt off the rooftop and fell down the slope of the tower, continuing to pour hot burning lead upon Kongzilla's head. Kongzilla angrily jumped out of the hole in the tower and sank his claws into the building's side. Crawling up the side of the tower, Kongzilla grit his teeth in anticipation of what was to come. "Oh shit," DDB's conscious muttered as he closed in closer to Kongzilla. Kongzilla stretched out his right arm and caught the Eva's throat with his hand. The mammoth beast brought the Evangelion closer to his face, squeezing the oxygen out of the robotic warrior with every passing second. Kongzilla loosened his grip enough to allow the Eva's conscience to comprehend exactly what the brute was about to say. "You will break," Kongzilla snarled and thrusted the Evangelion through the ledge his claws was clinging onto. It took repeatedly poundings to finally knock the Eva through the wall. Kongzilla threw Eva Unit 1 into the tower and crawled higher up. Eva Unit 1 was still holding his rifle. The human's psyche that controlled the Evangelion urged it to stand up. The Eva did just that and slowly crept towards the ledge. The Eva pointed its rifle up, but Kongzilla's claws slashed through the weapon and the Evangelion watched its pieces fall to the ground below. Kongzilla opened his mouth, which was alive with nuclear flames. Eva Unit 1 spun around and jumped back into the room he was thrown into, avoiding a torrent of atomic energy that burst out of Kongzilla's jaws. The ledge was melted by the intense heat Kongzilla's ray gave off. Evangelion Unit 1 could hear the impact Kongzilla's ray had on the ground below. The impact alone made the tower vibrate. Miles away, inside another tower that was empty of all life, Evangelion Unit 2 lay in position. Targeting Kongzilla with a sniper scope, the Eva prepared to pull the trigger that would unleash the fury of his particle cannon. Kongzilla was in alignment, Montyzilla's conscience awaited until the perfect moment. "DDB, try to find cover," Montyzilla blurted over their synchronized link. "Understood," DDB replied and formed an AT-Field around his body. Evangelion Unit 4 slowly rose out of the rubble that had buried him only a few moments ago. Its artificial eyes examined a fresh impact crater nearby. It sizzled with smoke and the smell was too putrid to deal with. The ground began to heal its wound slowly. "Fire whenever, Monty," Tomzilla said from the cockpit of Eva Unit 4. "Roger," Montyzilla replied, pulling the trigger immediately. Even with the incredible strength Eva Unit 2 possessed, the particle cannon he had up against his shoulder nearly broke it when it released its powerful beam. From the tip of the barrel, particles of light were sucked in and unleashed a beam that leapt out. After unleashing the particle beam, the Eva was thrown up against the wall, while still holding the cannon in the process. Kongzilla's eyes scanned the area, but a bright light attracted their attention. But before Kongzilla could even tell exactly what was about to happen, the particle beam sliced into his chest and applied enough pressure to knock him through the wall. Kongzilla hollered in pain as the particle beam removed a good portion of the body tissue around his chest. Lying up against a broken wall, Kongzilla felt fresh blood seep out of the whole in his chest. But his regenerate cells had already begun preparations to heal the wound. Rising in an upright position, Kongzilla beat his healed chest with his fists and snarled an angered cry. "It didn't kill him," Monty reluctantly said over the com-link. "I heard," Tomzilla replied and bent the Eva's head backwards to see if Kongzilla was peaking out of the hole he had been knocked through. "DDB, do you see him?" There was no reply. "…DDB?" Still nothing… "Monty, do you have a visual?" Tomzilla asked, not knowing on exactly what was going on. Before Monty could respond, the tower shook and everyone could hear the bashing sounds of Kongzilla's fists breaking the structure from within. Tomzilla could hear Evangelion Unit 1 unleash a barrage of gunfire. The gunfire ceased just as soon as a loud, smacking sound made its presence known. Eva Unit 1 was suddenly knocked out of the side of the tower's walls and was falling to the ground. Tomzilla watched helplessly as his companion hit the ground. Eva Unit 4's wrists opened and plasma cannons popped out. Extending his arms upwards, the White Evangelion pointed directly at Kongzilla who now peaked out. Seeing his foes, Kongzilla jumped out and ripped his claws into the side of the tower, roaring an extended cry of dominance. Right away, plasma rays fired out of the mounts inside Eva Unit 4's wrists. The plasma rays struck Kongzilla's hide, either bouncing off the thick scales or burning them on contact. Feeling an unprecedented feeling of rage, Kongzilla leapt out and fell towards the White Evangelion. Kongzilla squeezed his large fists and prepared to drive them straight into the White Evangelion's skull. Eva Unit 4 reacted by the cease of firing his plasma lasers and forming an AT-Field at the last possible second. Kongzilla landed on the surface of the AT-Field and plunged his two fists into the barrier, nearly breaking through in the process! In a length of time not recorded by the sane mind, Kongzilla pounded the AT-Field with his enraged fists. "It's slowly faltering," Tomzilla shouted, hoping someone would help him. Kongzilla stopped and caught the sight of the purple Evangelion who was just beginning to rise to his feet. Kongzilla jumped towards the clueless Evangelion, hoping to break its back from behind. Tomzilla allowed his AT-Field to fade and without a moment's notice, he pointed his charged plasma cannons at the back of Kongzilla and let a rip. The White Evangelion only fired a few shots, before leaping straight at the goliath. Kongzilla felt the plasma lasers strike the spines on his back. But when the beast turned to face the Eva, Kongzilla had not anticipated the Evangelion jumping directly at him and planting a foot in his jaws. The impact of the kick caused Kongzilla to stumble back. There was a strange pain ringing out from Kongzilla's jaws. Kongzilla prepared to return the favor, but the White Evangelion began to knock Kongzilla's face with a barrage of fists. The physical impacts rang out across the demonic city. But for as hard as Tomzilla tried to punch the lights out of Kongzilla, his fist shots succeeded in only at best inflicting minimal head damage. Kongzilla looked down upon the White Evangelion. The spines that erected out of Kongzilla's back, irradiated with atomic energy. "Oh no," the human onboard the White Evangelion muttered. An atomic beam shot out of Kongzilla's mouth and tore into the Evangelion's chest, pushing the robotic warrior thousands of meters back. The Eva collided with the wall of a building that was unlucky enough to be caught in the Evangelion's path. Kongzilla blasted the warrior through the wall and didn't stop exhaling his beam, until the building itself was reduced to rubble. The White Evangelion was buried alive by thousands of tons of hard rock and slab. Darkness consumed the pilot's mind and at the mercy of the staggering weight that pressed the Eva's body against the ground; it looked as if Eva Unit 4 was taken out of the battle. Kongzilla's feet clashed the ground, leaving an imprint behind as the large hybrid stomped towards the fallen Eva. Despite the obvious, Kongzilla would vaporize the rubble and the robotic warrior in one blast. The spines that were down Kongzilla's back became enriched with radioactivity. Fabrics of light glistened off the shiny spines, bathing the surrounding environment in its glow. The rubble clattered as Evangelion Unit 4's hand crawled out. Its robotic eyes stared through the small cracks of the pile, but in return for their privilege to be able to see their own fate, they were blinded by Kongzilla's atomic fury. Now the leviathan prepared to unleash oblivion upon the one who had tried to annihilate it. Surrounding debris was sucked into Kongzilla's mouth, quickly incinerated by the gathering heat. Eva Units 1 and 2 helplessly watched from afar, trying to come to Tomzilla's aid. But instead of being abolished from existence in a nuclear explosion; instead of being saved by the other Evangelion Units, Tomzilla was instead rescued in the form of a pulsating atomic blast that lanced into Kongzilla's sternum and knocked the massive beast off his feet. No longer possessing a link to the ground, Kongzilla was at the mercy of a concentrated burst of energy that now pushed the massive beast through the air. The atomic blast that ate away at Kongzilla's chest allowed the mutation to fall from its fiery clutches. Kongzilla slammed into the ground, the oxygen being knocked out of his lungs as a result. Attempting to inhale air into his massive lungs, Kongzilla slowly rose up to see his attacker. A flash of light emitted from the attacker's back, revealing the outline of its dark body. Its carnivorous teeth were visible even when ensnared by the darkness that tried to swallow the body. Jagged spines down its back clattered together, as it took one step towards Kongzilla. Cauldrons of fire that lay scattered across the crippled metropolis shined its radiance upon the mysterious entity. "Father," Kongzilla said with disparagement in his voice. A prehistoric groan escaped the feral jaws of the King of the Monsters. Godzilla halted his stride and stood perfectly still in all his majestic form. The atomic saurian felt his claws linger in the air, anticipating the feeling of ripping them into the flesh of another creature and tearing it asunder. "Guys," Tomzilla stuttered over the com-link, attempting to use the Eva's strength to burst out of the rubble. The Eva succeeded in full filling its desire and now the robotic warrior could see everything. "Go assist others that need your help. Godzilla and I will engage Kongzilla alone." Neither Montyzilla nor DinoDragonBoy could truly say anything. They were only stricken with shock and confusion. "Are you crazy?" Montyzilla shouted, hoping to change Tomzilla's mind. "It is better off if we all team up on the bastard, then proceed to go take out the other knights!" Despite no longer being human, the human psyche of Montyzilla still retained his usual personality. "I concur with Monty on this one, TZ," DDB replied softly. "Do it," Tomzilla said in a serious tone. "That's an order." "A crummy one," Montyzilla replied and with the mere thought, Eva Unit 2 turned away and walked in the opposite direction. Eva Unit 1 did the same, not before looking back. "We'll be fine," Tomzilla said in an attempt to ease DDB's uneasiness. Reluctantly, the purple Evangelion walked in the direction Eva Unit 2 was treading. "It's just you and me," Tomzilla gestured towards Godzilla. Godzilla's abnormal eyes remained locked on Kongzilla. The human's words held no bearing to what Godzilla plans to do. Instinctively, Godzilla wanted to protect his offspring and in fact, join it. Would the King of the Monsters hesitate to turn around and lay waste to the White Evangelion? He was tempted. But images of his son's death at the hands of the impassive Dogolas wrought Godzilla's mind. Somewhere inside the mangled conscience of this aberration, lied the real child that he had nurtured. The only thing that truly brought out the humanity inside the King of the Monsters… Someday, Godzilla knew, his son would return. But in order to see that thought become a reality, Godzilla must annihilate this pest and the one who controls this demonic wasteland. Let the battle begin. *** Swirling winds swept across the massive body of the world's largest mountain, Mt. Everest. Constructed by the planet millions of years ago, Mankind had grown to consider the mountain a pinpoint in achieving honor and fame. To some, its agonizing climb that would consist of a length of nearly a year would be considered a hobby, but to others, it was a chance to live again. Climbing to the mountain's summit would be a success, something the climber would remember for the rest of his or hers' mortal life. But it wasn't easy; the freezing temperatures alone were capable of rendering a human body to a frozen statue. There were hundreds of crevasses located on the massive mountain that towered over the land, each being the size of a basketball court or a fissure that would lead to a mile long fall to oblivion. When night falls on the unparallel mountain, everything described had now increased in danger of the unseen obstacles that were present. A team of climbers were stationed at the last camp, which was a few thousand feet below the apex of Mt. Everest. Night had fallen upon the camp site and the climbers proceeded to try and capture once last ounce of sleep. They needed to rest and breathe as much oxygen their lungs could in a short amount of time. Their gear lay scattered inside their tents, their bodies ensnared by warm clothing that barely provided warmth. Even when they were surrounded by the boundaries of their tents that were latched to the ground, the howling winds tried to penetrate. A couple of times, the wind nearly succeeded. Life on the mountain had become a living Hell, but unlike the realm of Evil hypothesized to exist in a realm filled with restless spirits and avenging demons, the Hell the climbers all experienced consisted of freezing temperatures that tore into their souls. For several months, the climbers had to bear with an environment nobody on the planet could truly adapt to. With the right equipment, a human could live on a mountain of this magnitude for only a few years. Then they would perish. But even a few months could hamper the minds of those who would dare to take the ultimate test of the human body and will. Day broke through the dense clouds. The climbers took only a few minutes to pack up their equipment and begun their ascent to the summit. It would take them the entire day to reach the top of the world. Their pix-axe stabbed the frigid surface of the planet. They pulled long, strong ropes that helped them venture closer and closer to their destination. Spikes that jolted beneath their boots poked into the hard ground and anchored their bodies at bay. Took all their strength their fragile bodies could muster to climb closer to the apex that loomed ahead. Fabrics of light shimmered through the atmosphere and shined down upon them. They were now too high for any clouds to defend them from the sun's streaks of light. The light glinted off the shiny surface of their pix-axe. It wouldn't be long until they reached the summit. For every climber, an outbreak of thoughts flooded the recesses of their minds. They had different thoughts; some thinking about their families, while others dazed about returning to home. But what they all had in common was one thing, succeeding at a dream that they all had long to come true. Hours past and the gusts of wind tried to sweep them off their feet, but their relentless goal urged them on. At last, after hours of the incredible journey, the climbers had reached their destination. One by one, they each arrived separately, but were greeted by the beauty that appeared in the horizon. It looked as if the Sun itself had lowered, making the climbers feel as if they were not only on top of the world but also looking down upon the only star in the solar system. One of the climbers dropped to his knees, allowing his body to be bathed by the sunlight. By looking down upon the world below, everyone truly knew they had overcome an obstacle only a few could accomplish. A celebration is in order. The ground beneath their feet started to rumble. But the excitement had kept everyone occupied. Their attention had diverted from their fantasies only after they were knocked to ground. The rumbling from within shook violently, ripping fissures beneath the ground. If a witness gazed upon the giant mountain, they would be baffled by the strange shake that ensnared Mt. Everest. The climbers atop the apex of Mt. Everest were engulfed by a burst of darkness that emptied their minds of whatever hope and dreams they once had. The darkness choked the air and scurried across the sky, dampening the sunlight in its quest of solitude. Tentacles covered with the blackness that matched the now scolded sky, tore out of the slopes of Mt. Everest and like serpents tainted by Evil, they slithered into the dark skies. The mountain rumbled from a mysterious entity trapped from within. In a devastating burst of power, a third of the mountain dispersed from a seismic explosion. Millions of tons of rock fell to the ground, flattening whatever was unlucky to be in its path. An area covered with ice and exposed to freezing winds, shook violently from the unprecedented chaos at hand. Amidst the darkness that robbed the area of light, two scarlet eyes pierced the black void and examined a world that was destined to fall before its unholy power. *** The Red Dragon the earthlings referred to as Enferno, crashed through the side if a building and was propelled through the air, being accompanied by gravity bolts that attempted to puncture a hole through his chest. As Enferno flew unwillingly through the air, the dragon could feel the bodies of thousands of slaves attached to his body, being burned alive by the heat irradiated off his body. Enferno's body slammed against the side of a building, the air knocked out of his lungs. The gravitational bolts ceased and witnesses that decided to stay and not run for their lives, examined the fresh wounds that had been inflicted upon Enferno's body. The Red Dragon's body was covered with cuts, bruises and loss of skin tissue. Pieces of Enferno's flesh hung from the pores of his body. His amber eyes illuminated with an eerie glow, summoning his inner draconic power. Flames burned from within Enferno's gaping jaws, reducing the air to smoke. In the distance a shadowy figure approached the Red Dragon, surrounded by rubble and death. It looked like a dark ghost, walking amongst the burning flames that ate at the terrain. Heaving his breath forward, Enferno hurled scalding flames out of his jaws and launched the fire directly at the mysterious entity. The entity was engulfed in flames, bathing the surrounding area in its bright glow. Amongst the flaming wreckage, the target Enferno had tried to incinerate managed to abscond from harm's way. Soaring above the ground, its serpent body slithering through thin-air, Enferno's eyes observed the arrival of Barugaron. "Aren't you going to welcome me?" Barugaron snickered with delight. Enferno fell forward, allowing his hands to settle on the rotten soil below. On all fours, Enferno charged Barugaron by ripping the ground with his claws in the process. Like a rabid dog, Enferno attempted to sink his fangs into Barugaron's body, but the Knight of the Kion Dehadrayth managed to avoid any type of conflict with his amazing speed. With his attention diverted, Barugaron sank his sharp teeth into the back of Enferno's neck. The Red Dragon released a piercing cry, exhaling flames in the process. Enferno tried to undue Barugaron's grip by thrashing around, but Barugaron's fangs were sunk deep into Enferno's neck, injecting venom that would eventually calm the dragon down and knock him out cold. As Barugaron's venom proceeded to run its course and Enferno's thrashes became less potent, the Knight of the Kion Dehadrayth drank Enferno's blood. Enferno's own plasma was joining Barugaron's own, mutating the creature's cell structure to the point of where Barugaron could discharge Enferno's attacks. The Red Dragon collapsed to the ground, Barugaron's weight pressing down against the dragon, pinning him against the ground. Barugaron continued to suck Enferno's blood out of his throat. Barugaron unlatched his fangs from Enferno's neck and raised his head to look down upon his fallen foe. "A valiant effort dragon, but none the less, it was all futile," Barugaron declared in a powerful voice. Barugaron dipped his fangs right back into Enferno's neck, sucking the life out of the creature that had come from the planet Earth. As Enferno grew weaker, Barugaron grew stronger, his muscles bulging even larger and his strength increasing dramatically. Barugaron's jaws tightened over Enferno's neck, cracking the bones that struggled to keep Enferno's neck in one piece. Only a small portion of Enferno's mind remained intact, as his claws scraped the ground, trying to fight off the unbearable pain. It was all for naught. Enferno screamed one last final cry. His body carried out the last line of defense it could muster. The Red Dragon that had fought countless battles, drifted off into a deep sleep, never to wake up again. Barugaron felt a relaxing ease as he was sucking Enferno dry of his blood. This feast would be one to remember. As Barugaron continued to enjoy the taste of his new prey, a shadow fell over the demented offspring of Hell. Barugaron's eager eyes snapped up and gazed up upon the reptilian essence of Putricus, whose body was covered with black blood. The dragon landed hundreds of feet away, the dragon's eyes enveloped in an eerie essence of darkness. No longer could Putricus' rivals see the flare of arrogance in his eyes, but the Evil that resided in him all along. Barugaron took this moment in delight, while gazing at the dragon with blood dripping down every slope of his body. "He's mine," Putricus whispered, his words being hurled across the field of war and stabbing into Barugaron's very soul. Barugaron's delightful gaze faded and was replaced with a sadistic grin. "Welcome back, dragon," Barugaron hissed and levitated off of the unconscious Enferno. "The will of Dogolas flows through the touch your unmerciful eyes present. Show no mercy to your brethren and tear him, limb from limb and rain his blood upon the land. The demons are hungry." With that said and done, Barugaron flew away, disappearing amongst the dense smoke cultivated by the flames that flared about. Putricus crept towards Enferno, his fangs dripping with fresh blood. The eagerness to finally achieve vengeance was the only thing Putricus could feel at this moment. It was the energy that pulsated through his decrepit veins, powering up the Evil that drives him to full fill his destiny. Putricus stopped, his nostrils detecting the lingering smell of pain and remorse. Gushing out of the pores of his wounds, Enferno remained unconscious. Putricus paused and took this moment to observe his rival that he had detested all this time. How he had felt every urge to maul him every second of the day and night. That longing to satisfy the anger that had been built up all these years… 'Do what you have longed for, my protocol son,' Dogolas said, his voice echoing in the bowels of Putricus' mind. Putricus bent down and wrapped its claws around Enferno's snout. With one hand, Putricus lifted Enferno off the ground and pulled him forward. Putricus now looked at Enferno, face to face. The Red Dragon was out cold. Putricus' eyes focused on Enferno's damaged throat, his instincts urging him to rip his jaws into Enferno's neck. These urges will not be ignored. Putricus' jaws opened, revealing dozens of sharp teeth. Putricus leaned closer, anticipating the feel of crushing Enferno's throat with his jaws. But to Putricus' dismay, Enferno's hand grasped his throat and held it at bay, removing Putricus the option of moving in closer for the devastating bite. The eyes of the dragons met, each reflecting their own hateful desires they have for one another. "So you still have some fight left in you," Putricus whispered softly, in his own demonic tone. "More than you could possibly imagine." Enferno replied swiftly. Thrusting his arm forward, Enferno catapulted Putricus backwards with his own arm strength, breaking the old Putricus once had. Putricus fanned out his wings, catching the air swirling around and using it for his own benefit. Putricus touched down on the ground and looked across the wrecked terrain. Enferno cast a glare at his malevolent foe that returned the same gesture. The Red Dragon curled his upper lips up, revealing the top shafts of his jagged teeth. Opening his maw, particles were stripped from the surrounding air and sucked into Enferno's gaping throat. As Enferno prepared to unleash his particle beam, Putricus allowed the Evil that resided in his torn soul to manifest and conceal the dragon's body in a twister of darkness. The swirling twister engulfed Putricus in its fury, ripping the ground from its foundations and releasing an eerie fog upon the area. The crackling flames that bathed the area with an orange glow changed to a neon like shine. Enferno stopped the progression of his particle beam and stared in disbelief at the unholy phenomenon occurring before his eyes. The dark twister dispersed, revealing a new spawn of Evil in its wake. No longer a dragon with scarlet scales, but a huge dragon whose skin was as dark as the color blacked, eyes that shimmered with the forsaken glow of red. Putricus no longer was the normal dragon who had been born on this very world. He was dark, twisted and unleashed in his true form. Putricus was no more… …Behold the advent of Akuma, whose power was a true reckoning. *** The war-torn environment of Battle Island became apparent to any unlucky visitor who had just arrived. Treading on the battered terrain would immediately give you the feeling that you are a target for eradication. Such a saying wouldn't be far from the truth. Surveying from the skies, the Titan of despair continued to lay waste to those who tried to abolish him from his dominion over the land. The golden scales that covered King Ghidorah's body shimmered as a result of the light originating from the Full Moon that resided in the dark sky above. A sickening laughter escaped the eleven mouths of the apocalyptic dragon. Despite losing one of his heads, King Ghidorah had not lost his appetite for despair. In fact, it had increased, 10-fold. Being unleashed from his mouths, beams that rippled with a mixture of electricity and gravity manipulation, plowed into the earth and the damaged bodies of the other kaiju who tried desperately to survive. Impact craters were born, hurling debris and earth into the ground after each impact was initiated. In one certain sector that had become a forest of crystals, the true fight between King Ghidorah and the other monsters met extreme hostilities from one another. Despite King Ghidorah's superior firepower and size, against an army of monster brethrens, it would take time. Bolts of light singed from the tips of the jagged crystals that stretched out of the ground, struck King Ghidorah's body, exposing the abomination from the endless void of space to tiny shocks. In the central courtyard of the crystal fortress, Space Godzilla stood, feeding off the cosmic energies that circulated into his shoulder crystals. Corona beams lashed out of his gaping jaws, which attempted to massacre King Ghidorah's flying form. The corona beams were only a few feet away from King Ghidorah's golden scales, until energetic webbing cast a barrier over the dragon's body, using the power of Space Godzilla's corona beam against it. Gliding through the air, propelling her body at speeds that would create sonic booms and flatten the ground, Melba approached the mammoth dragon. Waves of energy circulated through her eyes and spawned devious bursts of power. The energy blasts attempted to blaze into King Ghidorah's flesh, but the barriers shielded the dragon from any harm. King Ghidorah's wounds he had received earlier by conventional means were close to healing to their full potential. Two of King Ghidorah's heads turned and flared bolts of gravity beams. Melba twisted and turned her body, barely avoiding the beams. Melba cackled with hopelessness and turned away, preparing to flee from this battle that would prove to be her demise. But as she flew away, the mixture of gravity manipulation and electricity struck her body. Melba's body was seen heading straight to ground, engulfed in smoke and fire. The ancient creature decided it would be best to rest inside the impact crater, allowing the body to mend her injuries. Focusing all eleven of his diabolical heads, King Ghidorah spewed gravity beams upon Space Godzilla's crystal fortress. Using the power his crystals had given, Space Godzilla formed a gigantic shield over the vast fields of crystals. King Ghidorah's beams struck Space Godzilla's barrier and washed across it. But as time clicked away, Space Godzilla's shield slowly began to falter. Pouring out more energy, King Ghidorah flapped his massive wings and crimson streaks of power rippled out of the spikes that pointed out of his wings. With the combined might of all of King Ghidorah's projectiles, it wouldn't be long until Space Godzilla's barrier would be no more. In certain areas, the offensive beams broke through and lay waste to the surrounding crystals it impacted. Finally, Space Godzilla's defense crumbled and the cosmic saurian watched helplessly as his crystal forests was eradicated. Sapping the only amounts of cosmic energy that was left, Space Godzilla had to prepare for the worst. From areas that once had crystals sticking out of the ground, Destroyah and Zarkorr were faced with opposition. King Ghidorah's gravity beams scourged the skies above and rained down upon the terrain they were apart of it. Several of Ghidorah's gifts tore into Zarkorr's sternum and sent the space demon flying several hundred yards back. Destroyah's long, sharp horn crackled with the power of the Oxygen Destroyer. Micro-oxygen burst from Destroyah's mouth, taking the form of a raging stream of energy. But the projectile was neglected by King Ghidorah's shielding defense. The anger scoured Destroyah's collective mind and the massive beast took to the skies, hurling his gigantic form through the air with the power of his flapping wings. But it only made him a bigger target. King Ghidorah's gravity beams ripped into Destroyah's carapace, removing chunks of his organic armor that failed to stop King Ghidorah's power. The gravity beams succeeded at tearing through Destroyah's wings, which in return lead to Destroyah plummeting to the earth below. Streaks of Zarkorr's energy beams raced out of his eyes and were stopped in their tracks by King Ghidorah's shield. It seemed no matter what the opposing kaiju did; King Ghidorah was invulnerable to their energy attacks. It suddenly dawned on Space Godzilla. The cosmic saurian knew what had to be done. Levitating off the ground, Space Godzilla flew three times faster than the speed of sound across the battered terrain. King Ghidorah was too busy with the other monsters; he had not noticed one of the most dangerous leaving the war zone. Speeding up faster and faster, Space Godzilla hurled his body directly up at the direction of the stars. It took minutes until Space Godzilla had reached an altitude that was efficient to his strategy. Thousands of feet above King Ghidorah, who had no idea of Space Godzilla being there in the first place, the cosmic saurian prepared to initiate his plan. Spreading the inner power that his body generated, Space Godzilla's form became encased in a sphere of his own plasma. Like a comet streaking towards a planet, the energetic ball descended rapidly through the air, heading straight for King Ghidorah. Destroyah and Zarkorr attempted to buy Space Godzilla some time. Flying by their side, Megaguirus attempted to join the fray. Letting burst of energy ripple out of his eyes, Zarkorr distracted King Ghidorah. At the same time, micro-oxygen sprayed out of Destroyah's maw and manifested into pure energy. Despite King Ghidorah's shield prohibiting Zarkorr and Destroyah's assaults, the demonic dragon had his full attention on the two. A mistake this was. The sphere infused with cosmic energy, blossomed with a blinding fury that caught King Ghidorah's attention. When the dragon's heads ascended to the air, it was too late to see Space Godzilla's strategy become a reality. Striking King Ghidorah's back set off an explosion that rippled through the dragon's flesh, ripping the flesh from the bone. The force of the explosion plowed King Ghidorah into the ground. The battle field wracked the ground, shaking it back and forth. Zarkorr tumbled to the ground, while Destroyah kept his balance. For a moment, the darkness had crept away and was replaced by the light given off by Space Godzilla. Now the darkness had seeped back into the surrounding area. Levitating in the air, Space Godzilla's scarlet eyes gazed down upon King Ghidorah's injured form. The dragon's back that was once covered with gorgeous golden scales had been stripped. Now there was only blood, muscle tissue and even parts of the demon's skeleton showing. Veins that pumped out blood, struggled to regenerate. Even now, the golden scales began to re-grow on the outskirts of the massive wound. Space Godzilla opened his maw and exhaled bursts of corona beams, which lanced into King Ghidorah's massive wound. Slicing into the wound, blood literally leapt into the air and separated into all directions before making its descent. Space Godzilla poured a continued barrage of corona beams, slowing the process of healing the wound down. The shoulder crystals gleamed with a radiant of power, unleashing telekinetic bolts that ensnared Zarkorr's body and levitated the space demon to his side. Zarkorr smiled with glee, firing round after round of his eye beams. With the combined might of Space Godzilla's corona beam and Zarkorr's energy blasts, King Ghidorah screamed painful cries that only attracted other monsters to move in for the kill. But the livid King Ghidorah returned the favor. Three heads sprung through the air and clamped their jaws on Zarkorr's body. Roaring in pain, Zarkorr's beams no longer left the boundaries of the eyes. The heads dragged Zarkorr from Space Godzilla's telekinetic grasp, forcing Zarkorr to be driven into the ground. Space Godzilla watched as the three heads and eight others turn towards him. It was like being struck by lightning. Eleven jaws latched into separate parts of Space Godzilla's body, tugging at his skin and muscles. Knowing he won't last any longer and can't withstand the pain, Space Godzilla summoned his power and unleashed telekinetic waves from every inch of his body. The force the telekinetic pulse unleashed parted King Ghidorah's jaws from Space Godzilla's body. Now the heads retained their stature and glared directly at Space Godzilla. Unleashing a bombardment of gravity beams, Space Godzilla struggled to retain his stature but was inevitably knocked out of the sky. Smoke hissed from the pores of his body. Burnt flesh healed, but the pain still remained. Flapping his wings, which hurled strong currents of wind that succeeded in blowing Space Godzilla's body across the ground, King Ghidorah ascended into the dark sky. Manipulating the gravity, King Ghidorah was hurled into the air and now looked down upon the injured survivors who wanted to kill him. Knowing this battle could eventually cost him his life; King Ghidorah knew it was time to use the mystical power of his benevolent incarnation. The only shred of dignity inside the conscience of this diabolical creature had tried to take control, but the evil was too great. But now the power it once had in its singular form was being summoned. King Ghidorah's body disappeared for only a second in a blinding light. A golden aura was emitted from King Ghidorah's body, flashing rapidly and brightening the area in its glow. Soon a ring of energy formed around King Ghidorah's body and all eleven heads turned towards the ground below, where Space Godzilla, Zarkorr and Destroyah awaited. "What should we do, master?" Zarkorr asked, confused and frightened at what he saw. Space Godzilla's scarlet orbs examined the event unfolding before him. "Prepare for death," Space Godzilla muttered quietly. Destroyah watched the annihilator in the skies prepare to decimate the entire area in one shot. In its combined conscious, Destroyah wanted to be the only one known to inflict death and devastation. How ironic the destroyer would become the destroyed. Anger tore through the air in the form of his bellowing roar. King Ghidorah unleashed a ball that was rich with fire and plasma of biblical proportions. Crashing into the ground, the impact pulled the ground from the earth and sent it flying in all directions. A large crater had already been inflicted on this side of the island, but now a larger one was taking its place. Either the terrain was pulled from its foundations or vaporized by the intense heat. King Ghidorah watched with happiness as the world below him disappeared in a sheet of flames and destruction. *** A ring of fire surrounded the desolate area that contained the enraged dragons, Enferno and Akuma. Flames churned in the burned down buildings that once housed the innocent slaves whose only un-fortune was being born in the rule of Dogolas. Clashing in the central courtyard of the ring of fire, Enferno attempted to rip his jaws into Akuma's throat. But the dark coated dragon whipped his body back, allowing Enferno to take a snap at the thin air. Akuma thrusted his body forward, plunging his own jaws into Enferno's right shoulder. Enferno screamed in pain, trying to brush Akuma off, but it was all for naught. Akuma's jaws crushed the bones in the shoulder, piercing the carpet of red scales that tried to shield it from harm. Raising his left claws, Enferno sliced them down upon Akuma's face, ripping the flesh in the process. But blood could not pass through the open wounds, instead the slash marks healed instantly. Enferno repeatedly tried to rip Akuma's face open, but the black dragon's healing ability made such attempts useless. Akuma's clamping jaws continued to crush Enferno's shoulder. Steaming blood poured out of Enferno's gashing wounds, eventually being digested down Akuma's throat. "Now you know," Akuma muffled, "how I felt when you transformed not long ago." Enferno couldn't take the agonizing pain anymore. Trying to cloud out the pain, Enferno stared directly at Akuma's upper head. Particles of light swirled into Enferno's gaping maw. A particle beam sliced through the air, originating from the backdrop of Enferno's mouth. The particle beam pierced Akuma's skull, ripping into the brain and other bodily organs that awaited its coming. Akuma released his grip of Enferno's shoulder, which remained thrashed, unable to repair the damaging wounds that had been dealt. Enferno stepped back, still pouring out his particle beam into Akuma's cranium. No longer accustomed to feeling pain and being beaten by inferior mortals, Akuma snapped open his jaws and fired an electric fireball that plummeted into Enferno's chest. The electricity surged through Enferno's body as the force of the fireball knocked the Red Dragon off his feet. Sliding across the ground, Enferno was not quick to get up on his hind legs. The Red Dragon stayed on his back, trying to fight the pain that had succeeded in sapping him of almost all his strength. Trying to rise up off the ground, Enferno was pushed back down by Akuma's foot, which pressed down against his chest. Akuma looked down upon the battle wracked dragon that had tried to kill him. The gaping wound in his head healed, along with the brain that had been nearly decimated by Enferno's particle beam. But a sickening laughter echoed in the dark corner of Akuma's mind, telling him even if his head had been removed from his body, he would not die. As the wound closed up, an exhaust of dark matter sprayed out. Akuma breathed dark flames out of his nostrils, taking delight in Enferno's suffering. "Should I make you suffer, Enferno?" Akuma asked, questioning if he should just outright kill his one time rival. "I have the power to expel you from existence. You had always been a worthless creature, sucking up all the air, which belongs to me!" Akuma dug his foot deeper into Enferno's chest, allowing the claws that protruded out of his foot to puncture the skin of the Red Dragon that was now at Akuma's mercy. Enferno bellowed in agony, literally hearing his ribs being crushed by the tremendous force Akuma's foot applied in the process. The Red Dragon slashed at Akuma's ankles, doing everything in his power to live and fight off the pain. But the slash marks were repaired and Enferno's strength depleted by the passing second. Just by a few physical assaults, Akuma had succeeded in doing what his alter-ego, Putricus, had never been able to accomplish; Akuma had broken Enferno's body and now the Red Dragon's fighting spirit. Enferno's ferocity was known for dishing out pain, misery and a never-say-die attitude. But such a thing was only a memory of what once was.

*** Fighting a war against Dogolas' Army in one dimension and facing off against the diabolical King Ghidorah in another had severed Earth's Defense in half. On Earth, the battle against King Ghidorah had been halted after the terrifying dragon unleashed an assault that had leveled the entire area. But on different parts of Battle Islands, the massive backstage remained intact. Hallways as wide as city blocks became flooded by water that was pumped through out the building. Some of the water was meant to be taken to the water arena. Wading through the water, which was up to his thighs, Gigantis blinked his eyes and tried to find his place through the darkness. The lights attached to the ceiling panels, dimmed on and off. It had been nearly a half an hour since the last time one of the lights dimmed. Gigantis was growing impatient. Within the heroic dinosaur's mind, lied vengeance and anger. In the past, Gigantis had been betrayed by an artificial warrior who he had come to respect and consider a friend. But Gigantis never expected Jet Jaguar to turn on him and his friends. Jet Jaguar was the reason of why Gigantis' allies were critically wounded. Anguirus suffered horrible wounds that eventually lead to his demise. Even if the MWF Scientists had been resurrecting the courageous saurian, Gigantis still wanted to avenge his fallen comrades. Gigantis felt the frigid waters flow gently against his scales. The atomic dinosaur recalled seeing Jet Jaguar stumbling down this path not long ago, after being trashed by Blizzard. The other monsters had continued their all out war, but Gigantis sought to leave and seek out the traitor. In the distance, Gigantis' ears could hear movement. Something or someone was striding through the water. Gigantis stopped and felt the ripples in the water. It was coming towards him. The scent was familiar. It was Jet Jaguar. Gigantis could smell the treachery in the robotic warrior. Seeing a dark shape loom at the edge of the hallway, Gigantis' dorsal spines flashed with radioactivity and a jet of atomic flames soared out of the dinosaur's maw. The atomic flames struck the target and delivered not only burned the chest of the opponent, but also applied enough force to knock them off their feet. Gigantis could hear his target plummet into the water, which caused the water to splash into the air and settle back down. It only took several seconds for Gigantis to walk through the water and reach the one who had been hit by his destructive flame. The lights in the ceiling flashed on and revealed Jet Jaguar's body floating in the water. Gigantis gritted his teeth and growled. The atomic dinosaur's claws punctured the watery surface and hooked onto Jet Jaguar's body. Gigantis pulled Jet Jaguar out of the water and with his monstrous strength; Gigantis hurled Jet Jaguar into the side of the wall. Jet Jaguar's metallic body bounced off the wall, in return the force of contact between Jet Jaguar and the wall lead to pieces of it falling down. Jet Jaguar leapt towards Gigantis and plowed his metal fist into the dinosaur's skull. Gigantis stumbled back, but regain his composure and whipped his body around, slamming his tail against Jet Jaguar's body. Jet Jaguar was knocked up against the ceiling, tearing through the concrete that sustained it and nearly made the entire ceiling collapse in the process. Gigantis felt concrete bounce off his body, as Jet Jaguar fell into the water in front of him. A huge splash burst from where Jet Jaguar had landed. But Gigantis poured a stream of hot radioactivity out of his gaping jaws and turned the entire area to steam. Gigantis' bloodshot eyes glared at the rising steam. Before Gigantis could muster the strength to raise a defense, Jet Jaguar jumped out of the steaming water and kicked the dinosaur in the neck. Gigantis was knocked off his feet and glided through the air, his spines digging through the water in the process. The giant dinosaur disappeared beneath the murky waves that had been formed out of the impact Gigantis made. "Such a pity," Jet Jaguar mocked the fallen saurian, "you try so hard to achieve vengeance, in yet come empty-handed." Bright flashes irradiated from beneath the water. Jet Jaguar's artificial eyes remained unaffected by the pulsating light. A stream of atomic energy flared out of the watery surface and struck Jet Jaguar's chest, burning his metallic skin and knocking the robotic warrior to the ground. Jet Jaguar's body was consumed by water. Gigantis slowly rose out of the water, standing at his full erect height. Releasing a loud, thundering cry from his mouth, Gigantis was pleased with his assault. "I had hesitated to use this, even on a traitor like you," Gigantis groaned, hoping his flames would've melted the robot's body. Jet Jaguar stood up out of the water, smoke sizzling from the metallic skin that had been burned. The warrior artificially built by Man rushed the titanic dinosaur, but was suddenly stopped in his tracks. Jet Jaguar observed Gigantis, who was standing in a strange posture. Gigantis' eyes were locked on Jet Jaguar, but his hands were pointing directly at him. Magnetic waves flourished out of Gigantis' claws and grasped Jet Jaguar's body. "You should've known that I still can control metallic objects," Gigantis sneered and thrusted his arms in the direction of a wall nearby. Jet Jaguar was thrown against it, being repeatedly pounded into it again and again. Once in a while, Gigantis would magnetically toss Jet Jaguar's helpless form against the ceiling and allow it to crumble towards the watery ground below, hitting Jet Jaguar along the way. Keeping Jet Jaguar's body steady, Gigantis opened his maw and unleashed the full fury of his atomic breath. An azure stream of heat and force struck Jet Jaguar's body, melting his metallic skin and pushing the artificial warrior back. But Gigantis' magnetic grip kept Jet Jaguar at bay. Gigantis' flame was blazing through Jet Jaguar's body… Vengeance will at last be achieved. In the scientific laboratory a few miles beneath Battle Island, circular tanks that contained Anguirus, King Caesar and Zonefighter, slowly healed the trio of warriors with its healing liquids. The liquid formula inside the tanks had rejuvenated the cells inside the monsters and awakened the memory that was stored in the DNA. Cables were latched into the monster's bodies, inserting enzymes that would feed the resurrecting kaiju the nourishments they need upon awakening. Technically, it would be impossible to fathom if the creatures retained the same personality they once had prior to their death. But in the past, the tests had shown they behaved exactly the same. Anguirus' reptilian eyes slipped open. The cables ripped out of Anguirus' body, harmlessly. A doorway beneath the tank opened, sucking out all the liquid and the kaiju in the process. A chamber in front of the tank opened up out of the ground. A newly resurrected Anguirus crawled out, breathing in oxygen in his new, healthy body. The liquid that had helped the armored-saurian resurrect, dripped down the slopes of his jagged body. Anguirus' predatory eyes focused on the other tanks that contained his allies. King Caesar's mammalian scarlet eyes opened. The liquids inside the tank had no real influence on King Caesar's vision. Zonefighter was barely able to move around, the glowing chambers that represented his eyes illuminated with a glint of amber. It wasn't long until they were both sucked beneath the floor of the tanks as well. The cables had departed from King Caesar and Zonefighter's bodies. Walking through the bottom chamber, the trio of monsters met. "King Caesar," Anguirus barked confusedly. "Exactly what are you doing here?" The Guardian of Okinawa looked down at the armored-dinosaur and answered the question. "It happened after the incident with Bagan," King Caesar started, his voice relaxed as the Okinawa Guardian recalled an event that transpired in the past. "I had full filled my purpose by calling forth all the kaiju to gather and rid existence of the tyrant. But as I returned to the locker rooms and catch the human transport that would return me home, I was ambushed by the mechanical Godzilla and others that helped rip my body apart." Zonefighter shook his head and tried to make sense out of why King Caesar was attacked in the first place. Exactly what did the Guardian of Okinawa do to invoke a brutal death by MechaGodzilla and the other monsters? "Can you describe the others that were there?" Anguirus groaned, barely able to contain the anger that tried to overthrow all common sense. "There was a cyborg present, with sharp hammer-claws that were used to rip open my flesh," King Caesar explained. The expression on his face showed a disturbing look as he explained what these kaiju did to him. "There was a giant humanoid cockroach, with drills for hands that he jabbed into my abdomen. He spit round objects from his mouth that ignited in explosions, burning my body. There was also this robot that shattered my neck. I was then electrocuted by a green ogre that insisted on prolonging my suffering. A giant ape mauled my skull. I was barely conscious, but the last thing I saw was the mechanical Godzilla unleashing a wave of explosive missiles. And now I find myself here with all of you." Anguirus ripped up the ground beneath his claws. Another kaiju had suffered Jet Jaguar's wrath. Such a traitor shall not go unpunished. Zonefighter pondered on the descriptions of the monsters. It wasn't hard to figure out King Caesar's assailants. "The cyborg was Gigan," Zonefighter calmly excluded from his non-moving mouth. "The cockroach with drills for hands was Megalon. The robot was Jet Jaguar. That stranger green ogre is known as Gabara. I think the ape that attacked you was Chaos, perhaps Blizzard. There are a number of giant apes that take part in the fights in this place. The mechanical Godzilla is known as MechaGodzilla. I'm not surprised you perished, we all did." Anguirus nearly snapped in a fit of rage. "Only because that traitor," Anguirus howled in utter animosity, "Jet Jaguar…" King Caesar turned and scoped the surrounding area. The place was empty, which wasn't normal on an account that he had been here before. Usually the room would be littered with humans. King Caesar treaded towards the nearby exit, being followed by an enraged Anguirus and confused Zonefighter. "Anguirus," Zonefighter said out loud. "We should go find Gigantis, immediately." Anguirus nodded his head and released a loud bark. King Caesar paused. "I'll follow you," King Caesar muttered. "May I ask why?" Zonefighter alleged. "I have a feeling that wherever Gigantis is, the ones that killed me wouldn't be that far behind." The metallic chest had become tainted by the atomic flames. Jet Jaguar struggled to fight off Gigantis' magnetic hold over him, but in the process of doing so, the robotic warrior had been exposed to the dinosaur's wicked flame. There was a tasteless lingering in the air, as the metal burned and Jet Jaguar's artificial existence was approaching the breaking point. Gigantis felt his magnetic abilities slipping away and soon it would no longer be able to be wielded by the heroic saurian. "Destroying the traitor is worth it," Gigantis thought as scalding atomic flames poured out of his mouth and burned into Jet Jaguar's body. Jet Jaguar's body had turned into a heat conductor. The metallic skin that constrained his entire body was burning hot. Smoke steamed from every portion of its body and rose to the ceiling. But then the entire hallway began to vibrate and Gigantis' concentrate was disrupted. The magnetic hold no longer ensnared Jet Jaguar's body and the robotic warrior plummeted into the water. A loud hiss was heard after Jet Jaguar had touched the water. Gigantis fell backwards, still discharging his atomic breath in the process. The atomic breath demolished the ceiling above, blowing off a good portion of the area that was struck. Debris rained down into the flooded hallway below, crashing into the water and generating splashes that managed to defy gravity and reach the top of the ceiling. Rising out of the water, which washed down the sides of his body, Gigantis examined the floating mechanical body of Jet Jaguar. The instincts of the dinosaur still sensed life inside the traitor. Stomping through the water, Gigantis approached the dazed Jet Jaguar. Gigantis reached down and grabbed Jet Jaguar's skull and yanked the robot out of the water. Jet Jaguar's legs were still in the water, as was his waist. Gigantis snarled and was thinking about crushing Jet Jaguar's cranium with his incredible strength. But as the dinosaur prepared to finally access vengeance, something caught his eye. "What is that?" Gigantis questioned as he stared at the back of Jet Jaguar's skull. There was a deep cut in the back of Jet Jaguar's cranium that revealed a crimson beeping object. Gigantis motioned his claws to dig into the cut and pull it apart, gently. As Gigantis squeezed the cut wider, his reptilian eyes gazed down at an object that was embedded in Jet Jaguar's artificial sensors. There was a lingering that didn't belong. Placing the tip of his claw against the red glowing object, Gigantis removed it from Jet Jaguar's sensors and held it in his finger for him to examine closely. It didn't belong. Rolling it to the center of his hand, Gigantis squeezed it tightly and crushed it with his strength. At the same time, Jet Jaguar was starting to move and operate. The robotic warrior stood out of the water and looked in the opposite direction. Gigantis squeezed his fists and was ready to fight Jet Jaguar once again, should he show hostile signs. But it was evident by now exactly what had been going on. Jet Jaguar turned towards Gigantis and happily gestured a sign with his hands, proud to see his dinosaur-friend. "Hello Gigantis," Jet Jaguar's digital voice echoed. "Funny meeting you here…" Gigantis' eyes rose in confusion and tilted his head, still weary of the things that had occurred thus far. Was this a trick or were Gigantis' suspicions true and Jet Jaguar is back to his normal self…? "You are damaged," Gigantis said unhappily. Jet Jaguar looked down and probed the burn marks on his chest with his hands. Even if there were no signs of emotion in Jet Jaguar's soulless eyes, Gigantis could tell the robot was surprised none the less. "What happened to me," Jet Jaguar shouted, feeling as if he had wakened up from a dream only to find out it really happened. "Gigantis, I'm confused, what happened?" Gigantis bent out his arm and opened the palm of his hand, revealing pieces of the mind-control chip. "You were controlled by another, Jet Jaguar," Gigantis grumbled unhappily. "Your controller made you try to kill me." Jet Jaguar looked down at the damaged chip in Gigantis' dinosaurian hand. The lights still placed in the ceiling above dimmed brightly, then went dark again. "And you succeeded in killing the others who tried to stop you." The dinosaur's voice echoed on in the dark halls… The ground shook violently once again; the seismic activities made the lights turn back on. Gigantis and Jet Jaguar fought for balance as the cause for the quakes was revealed. A huge drill pierced the floor and a large monster rose out of the ground. The hole acted like a drain, swallowing the water in the newly formed hole. But the hallway still remained flooded. The large quantities of water would remain. Both Gigantis and Jet Jaguar examined this strange monster that had made its appearance known. The monster was strange in appearance, the apex of the creature was comprised of one large drill; it had a humanoid like body; its hands were shaped like bricks without fingers; tubes pointed out of its neck, which constantly blew out steam. It was a foe that emitted a sickening cackle… …It was Zandolla. Zandolla was about the size of Gigantis, but weighed a lot more. The ground beneath the water and Zandolla's feet rumbled as it tried to sustain the monster's massive form. Gigantis' tail moved back and forth, waving through the water impatiently. It was clear that this monster wanted to fight and it didn't look like it would allow either one of them to leave. The incident with Jet Jaguar will have to wait. Gigantis plowed through the water, while emitting a threatening roar from his mouth. Zandolla pointed his fists at the charging Gigantis and sprayed steam out of its tips. The steam engulfed Gigantis' body, which melted the skin tissue on his body and burned his eyes. Gigantis hollered in pain and fell into the water, which was boiling from the intense temperatures the steam let off. Jet Jaguar flew out of the water and glided straight towards Zandolla, avoiding the cloud of steam that still loomed in the area. The robotic warrior dropped into the water behind Zandolla and greeted the titanic foe with a swift kick to the back. Zandolla nearly lost his balance, but managed to stay erect. Jet Jaguar followed up by charging Zandolla from behind, pounding Zandolla's back with a barrage of fists that echoed loud pounding sounds through out the hallways. Zandolla turned around and struck Jet Jaguar in the face with one of his arms. Jet Jaguar was thrown off his feet and was hurled through the air, eventually landing in the water. Zandolla cackled with delight, but as he turned around to face the heroic saurian that had been burned alive by his molten steam, the titanic creature was instead met with the atomic fury of Gigantis' radioactive breath. Upon impact, explosions burst around Zandolla's body and the titan fell into the water. Gigantis rushed to stomp a mud hole into the fallen opponent, but Zandolla, despite his appearance, rose out of the water and clenched Gigantis' body with his fists. Zandolla tossed Gigantis into the side of the wall, which caused it to crumble and encase the dinosaur in its rubble. The titanic creature pointed its palms at the trapped Gigantis and released a stream of steam from the tips of its fists. The concrete slabs that buried Gigantis began to melt from the high temperatures the steam gaze off. Gigantis had already suffered severe burns. But now the heroic dinosaur will be exposed once again to Zandolla's molten steam. Helpless and unable to move, Gigantis screamed in agony as the steam enveloped his body. Jet Jaguar heard Gigantis' cries of agony and burst out of the water. The robotic warrior leapt across the hallway and grabbed a hold of Zandolla's back. Lifting the massive kaiju out of the water with his artificial strength, Jet Jaguar fell back and slammed Zandolla head first into the water, hitting the ground below. No longer being harmed by Zandolla's molten steam, Gigantis managed to break free of his prison. But the dinosaur's eyes had been badly burnt and were now blood shoot. Gigantis stumbled back and forth, trying to regain his composure and see the surroundings. The monster could only hear Jet Jaguar and Zandolla fighting not far away. Zandolla took a swipe at Jet Jaguar, but the robot ducked and retaliated by punching the titanic kaiju in its stomach with a volley of fists. Zandolla shrugged it off and activated its swirling drill on top of its head. Knocking Jet Jaguar's fists away, Zandolla bent down and thrusted his body forward, stabbing Jet Jaguar's already damaged chest with his apex drill. The drill screeched as it ripped through the metallic sternum. Jet Jaguar struggled to pull Zandolla away, but Zandolla charged forward and with the strength of his drill giving him leverage, Zandolla toppled Jet Jaguar, by nailing him against the wall. Steams of exhaust sprayed out of the tubes that stuck out of his neck. A prelude to the rising strength Zandolla showcased as the titan pressed Jet Jaguar deeper into the wall. Finally, the wall collapsed and Jet Jaguar was thrown into an empty locker room. Gigantis stuttered through the water, trying to fight the agonizing feeling of only being able to see a small portion of his surroundings. The giant dinosaur turned and could barely see Zandolla celebrating after hurling Jet Jaguar through the wall. Gigantis' dorsal fins irradiated with shimmering flames. Behind the saurian savior, his newly resurrected friends appeared. Anguirus, King Caesar and Zonefighter sighed with relief at the sight of their friend. But their signs of relief faded as Gigantis fired his atomic breath, which slammed into Zandolla and detonated in a bright explosion. But this time Zandolla did not fall, instead the titan charged. Gigantis was too blind to fixate his gaze to tell the difference between a stationary object and a moving one. Zonefighter dashed down the hallway, the water failing to slow the warrior down. Mystically having rocket launchers appear around his wrists, Zonefighter ran in front of Gigantis and unleashed a barrage of rockets from his wrists bracelets. The rockets struck Zandolla's body and covered it with multiple explosions. Anguirus ran at Gigantis' side and barked a loud cry to assure his friend that all was fine. "Anguirus, you're…alive?" Gigantis said happily, with astonishment in his voice. He tried to look at his friend, but his bloodshot eyes prevented the heroic saurian from visually seeing Anguirus. Anguirus noticed and turned towards Zandolla, who was still standing after Zonefighter's assault. Gritting his teeth, Anguirus charged through the water that was flowing around his body. The armored-dinosaur jumped out of the water and impaled the wall with his sharp claws, which managed to keep Anguirus from falling. Literally running across the wall, Anguirus leapt through the air and slammed his body into Zandolla's own. Zandolla stumbled back, fighting to keep balance, but ultimately failed and disappeared beneath the water. Anguirus stood out of the water on his hind legs, releasing a loud victorious cry. "Watch out," Zonefighter shouted towards Anguirus. Anguirus turned to see Zandolla's drill burst out of the water and rip into his un-protected chest. The armored-dinosaur cried out in pain as Zandolla's apex drill swiftly rotated, digging deeper into his body. But Zandolla's drill was pulled out of Anguirus' body, thanks to Jet Jaguar's intervention. The brave robot had wrapped his arms around Zandolla's chest, tugging the titanic monster's drill out of Anguirus' body. But Zandolla sprayed out his molten steam, which converged on the helpless Anguirus. Anguirus screamed in agony, quickly turning away and swimming in the opposite direction. But even with the water attempting to cool his burnt flesh, Anguirus' body still ached from the horrible attack. The armored-dinosaur could barely even breathe. Jet Jaguar tried to deter Zandolla from harming his allies, but the huge creature managed to overpower Jet Jaguar by breaking free of the robot's grip. Zandolla turned towards Jet Jaguar and grabbed the robot's upper body. With amazing strength, Zandolla threw Jet Jaguar straight up into the ceiling and watched as the robotic warrior plummeted back down into the watery ground. "I don't understand," Zonefighter muttered with confusion in his voice. "Jet Jaguar is helping us?" Gigantis put his hand against the side of the wall, using it to keep his body still. "Long story short, Jet Jaguar was being mind-controlled," Gigantis said slowly. "King Caesar, try and pull Anguirus to safety; Gigantis and I will attempt to take this thing down," Zonefighter muffled as he put Gigantis' arm around his shoulder. The two walked through the water, heading straight towards Zandolla, who was still pounding Jet Jaguar into submission. The Guardian of Okinawa and the Azumi Family trotted through the water. King Caesar's claws grabbed Anguirus, who was still feeling the painful burns of the molten steams given off by Zandolla. The courageous creature pulled the brave Anguirus to safety. Gigantis and Zonefighter were now closer to Zandolla; Zonefighter whispered into Gigantis' ear of how close they were and when he'd tell the dinosaur the best time to open fire. Gigantis could barely see Zandolla, so the heroic dinosaur would have an idea of when to let loose. They were now in position and Jet Jaguar was out of harm's way. "Now," Zonefighter shouted. A jet of atomic flames was discharged out of Gigantis' mouth and plummeted into Zandolla's armored-hide. From Zonefighter's wrists bracelets, rockets left their compartments and struck Zandolla, quickly covering the titanic beast in tiny balls of fire. Both attacks struck Zandolla simultaneously, generating lots of sparks and explosions that rocked Zandolla's world. The huge titanic tilted and fell into the water. Jet Jaguar lifted his body out of the water not long after. Zonefighter motioned for the robot to come towards them. Jet Jaguar accepted the offering. Motioning for Jet Jaguar to walk behind them, Zonefighter allowed the robot to take Gigantis with him. Pointing at the surface of the water, where Zandolla was last seen, Zonefighter prepared to unleash another wave of rockets. But straight ahead, in the corner of the hallway, there was another that was taking aim of Zonefighter. Zonefighter's amber eyes detected the entity and aimed his wrists rockets towards it, but an electrical beam rippled through the hallway and detonated against Zonefighter's chest. The electric surge flowed through Zonefighter's body and the brave warrior was knocked back. Jet Jaguar and Gigantis turned to help Zonefighter to his feet. Gigantis' dorsal fins illuminated with the essence of atomic energy. Streaking out of Gigantis' mouth, atomic flames lit the corner of the hallway ablaze. Walking into view, Zonefighter's attacker revealed itself. It was none other than Megalon. Megalon released an earth shaking cry from his mandibles. The Seatopian Guardian bashed his cone-shaped claws together, mocking the monsters that stood before him. But Megalon wasn't alone. Walking into view, the Nebulan Space Hunter cyborg, Gigan made its presence known. Releasing an artificial shriek, Gigan pointed his hammer-claws directly at Jet Jaguar and his allies. Gigantis' eyesight was luckily improving. The Heroic Dinosaur released a challenging cry to Megalon and Gigan. Coming to his side was King Caesar and Anguirus, but behind them loomed the green ogre, Gabara. Gabara's ominous eyes examined the five monsters that were distracted by Gigan and Megalon. The horns erected out of the top of his head, surrounded by scarlet hair, pulsated with electricity. Bolts of electricity zigzagged from Gabara's horns and went directly to his fists. The green ogre sprinted through the water and hurled his electric fists into King Caesar's back. King Caesar roared in pain as his entire body was being electrocuted by Gabara's electrical powers. Gabara's left arm reached up and constricted King Caesar's throat. Gabara lifted King Caesar out of the water with his physical strength and plowed the Okinawa Guardian into the side of a nearby wall. Gabara repeatedly punched King Caesar, each time delivering an electric shock. Anguirus turned around and charged to meet Gabara, but as he did Zandolla burst out of the ground in between Gigantis, Jet Jaguar and Zonefighter. All three monsters were knocked away by Zandolla's incredible strength. Jet Jaguar stood up out of the water after being knocked away, but Megalon's drill-fists clobbered the robot in the temple. The crimson pearl in Gigan's forehead absorbed tiny particles that eventually faded, clearing the way for a scarlet laser to lance out of the pearl and strike Zonefighter in the gut. Zonefighter grabbed a hold of his wound, trying not to fall. Gigan's skeletal wings expanded and allowed a strong gust of smoke to blow out of his body, sending the cyborg flying down the hallway at incredible speeds. Gigan sank his hammer-claws into Zonefighter's skull, knocking the brave warrior to the ground. Jet Jaguar used the wall as leverage to help pull his body out of the water. The robot met Megalon's bulbous eyes, each glinting with a passion of rage. Megalon attempted to impale Jet Jaguar with one of his drill-fist, but Jet Jaguar avoided the preemptive assault. Seeing his foe deterred from bringing up a defense, Jet Jaguar clubbed Megalon's ribcage with his metallic fists, pounding it repeatedly. Megalon howled in a fit of rage, thrusting one of his drill-fist forward, striking Jet Jaguar in the face and toppling the robot into the water. Megalon stomped closer towards his fallen foe. But the Seatopian Guardian didn't expect Gigantis' heat ray to explode in his face! The force and heat of Gigantis' atomic breath managed to deliver a staggering explosion that scalded Megalon's face and made the giant cockroach fall into the water. Jet Jaguar jumped up on his hind legs and gave two thumbs up to his saurian friend. Gigantis returned the gesture, but from his blind side, Zandolla rammed his apex drill into Gigantis' abdomen. The heroic dinosaur was toppled against the wall; Gigantis was glad his claws had sunk in the wall to keep him from falling to the ground. Gigantis opened his mouth and fired a blazing stream of atomic fire, which spewed into Zandolla's titanic form and succeeded in knocking the living-weapon into the water. Gigantis sloshed through the water, meeting Zandolla who was trying to rise to his feet. While Zandolla was still down, Gigantis pounded the outskirts of the monster's armored-hide with his reptilian fists. For the moment, Gigantis was winning… King Caesar tried to break free from Gabara's grip, but the green ogre kept King Caesar against the wall and electrocuted the custodian with his electric swipes. Anguirus spout a loud bark as the armored-saurian leapt through the air and hopped onto Gabara's body. With the added amount of weight applied, Gabara fell into the water with Anguirus on top of him. Anguirus' jaws squeezed Gabara's throat, the teeth piercing the green skin. Painful cries could not escape Gabara's mouth, only bubbles. The green ogre was robbed of oxygen when he was submerged in water. The horns atop Gabara's head shimmered with electricity; the green ogre succeeded in summoning the electrical power his body can manifest. Anguirus' eyes widen in shock; literally, as electrical currents raced through Gabara's finger tips and into Anguirus' body. With a large body of water completely ensnaring Anguirus' form, the water conducted the electricity and intensified the agonizing pain that had fallen upon the armored-dinosaur. For a split second, Anguirus' skeleton became visible for any onlooker to see. But King Caesar had fallen victim to Gabara's electrical surges. The fur on his body stood up, electricity swirling in the central cortex of King Caesar's eyes. Seconds passed as Gabara's electricity electrocuted Anguirus and King Caesar at the same time. When Gabara's electricity no longer left his finger tips, Gabara let go of Anguirus and allowed the armored-dinosaur to float to the surface. Anguirus' dazed body floated in the water, the monster unconscious and dehydrated. Foam gurgled out of King Caesar's mouth; the eyes of the Okinawa Guardian were rolled up in their sockets, showing no signs of life. But the beast was barely breathing… Gabara's body burst out of the water and the green ogre's eyes fixated on the feeble form of King Caesar. Casting a diabolical glare, Gabara sneered with joy after his mind envisioned an ugly thought. The upper lip of the ogre curved up and revealed razor sharp teeth. Gabara raised his right palm and carved a symbol of the cross in King Caesar's forehead. Red blood dripped from the wound engraved on King Caesar's face. Gabara's playtime was only going to get messier… Zonefighter stood up out of the water, allowing the water to flow down the slopes of his body. The warrior looked up to see Gigan swooping down to decapitate him with his hammered-claws. But Zonefighter had different plans and jumped into the air, swerved around in a circle and struck Gigan's head with his foot. As Zonefighter fell feet first into the watery ground below, Gigan's body struck the side of the wall and then twirled into the water, uncontrollably. But Zonefighter underestimated the cyborg's speed; Gigan's right claw tore out of the water and struck Zonefighter across the face. As Zonefighter tilted back to fall Gigan's other claw wrapped itself around Zonefighter's neck and kept the humanoid warrior on his feet. "Make a wish," Gigan shrieked vigorously with one of his claws pointing at the back of Zonefighter's head. "Better be quick, it will be the last thing you'll ever do!" "I have a better idea," Zonefighter said with no fear in his voice, "how about I do this!" Zonefighter elbowed Gigan in the gut, thankful that the cyborg's buzz saw wasn't there to meet the arm. Gigan hollered in anger as he winded his claw back and was ready to add a hole in the back of Zonefighter's head. Fate intervened when Zonefighter spun around and clocked Gigan's bottom jaw with his fist. The cyborg was knocked up against the wall, nearly penetrating it in the process. Zonefighter examined the foundations of the wall, understanding the fact that with only the slightest push, Gigan would be floored into the next room behind it. The agile warrior jumped up into the air, flipped backwards up against the wall facing Gigan and hurled his body straight towards the cyborg. Combining both fists, Zonefighter rammed his fists into Gigan's body and the two were last seen heading straight through the wall. The two ended up in the room behind the wall. Both monsters rolled across the ground, constantly jabbing at one another. Zonefighter pressed away from Gigan and hopped to his feet. Gigan raised his hammered-claws and the two circled one another, waiting for the other to make the first move. Feeling no patience, Gigan rushed across the room, pounding the concrete floor with his feet and making cracks splinter across its surface in the process. Zonefighter carried out the same strategy and both giants met in battle. Gigan attempted to wedge one of his claws in Zonefighter's body, but Zonefighter raised an elbow and blocked Gigan's claw. Zonefighter used this time well, by punching Gigan directly in the face several times. Gigan slashed the air with his other claw, surprised to see that Zonefighter narrowly missed the attempted strike. With the cyborg unable to counterattack, Zonefighter released his hold on Gigan's claws and leapt backwards, kicking Gigan in the jaw in the process. Gigan stuttered back and fell on his side, shrieking in pain from the blow he received. The cyborg struggled to rise up on his hind legs. Gigan's crimson eye sighted Zonefighter across the room, who was preparing to unleash a wave of missiles. The pearl in Gigan's forehead flashed brightly, temporarily blinding Zonefighter, allowing Gigan to discharge a laser beam that ripped into Zonefighter's chest. Zonefighter released a loud cry of pain, struggling to return fire but the pain was too much and made the warrior collapse to the ground. Gigan sprinted across the room and kicked Zonefighter in his ribcage. Zonefighter rolled across the ground, clutching his battered ribs and trying to defend his body from Gigan's assaults. But the cyborg took delight in Zonefighter's suffering. Raising his claws, Gigan brought them down upon the weakened Zonefighter, showing no remorse or quarter to the warrior who was too hurt to deter the attacks directed at him. Striding through the water, his tail waving back and forth in the liquid that was up to his waist, Gigantis' livid eyes had fallen upon Gabara. The ogre that had invaded the dreams of countless children was choking the life out of King Caesar. Gabara didn't even need to implement his electrical strikes; earlier Gabara's electricity had already shocked King Caesar into a state of unconsciousness. The dorsal fins that poked down the heroic dinosaur's back, transformed into a shiny aura of radiation. Immediately, a stream of atomic power blazed out of Gigantis' jaws and struck the unsuspecting Gabara in the face. With its green skin charred and body no longer standing upright, Gabara cried out in pain, which died out as the ogre disappeared beneath the water. *** Hurling gusts of wind from his scarlet wings, Enferno swiftly thrusted his body through the air, trying to avoid the snapping jaws of Akuma, who was in hot pursuit. Flying across a metropolis covered with flames, Enferno could feel the heat being extinguished from the crackling flames below. Motioning his head back at his stalker, Enferno opened his maw and fired a blazing stream of fire. Akuma allowed the inferior hailstorm of fire engulf his flying form. But immediately, Akuma's dark powers overpowered the flames of the Red Dragon and in a frightening showcase of power, the flames were diverted away from Akuma's body by the dark dragon's hideous strength. Akuma opened his mouth, which was filled with parasites and vermin gnawing at the dead flesh in between his teeth. But they were quickly incinerated by the electricity that surged in his maw. Pounding the air around his mouth, three electric balls erupted from Akuma's jaws and sped up to detonate across Enferno's flying form. The Red Dragon succeeded in dodging two, but the third electric ball struck his back and released a charged explosion. Enferno was blown out of the sky, badly damaged and electrocuted by just one of Akuma's attacks. Seeing the scorched ground come closer and closer, Enferno could only brace for impact. Impaling his head into the wretched soil, the Red Dragon was knocked out by the impact. While still dazed, Enferno's claws gripped the ground and yanked the dragon's body out of the small impact crater his body engraved. But a large shadow loomed over Enferno. The Red Dragon ascended his amber eyes up at the object, only to be introduced to darkness; Akuma had sliced through the air and struck Enferno in the body with his massive feet. Now the impact crater increased in size. Enferno had been grounded beneath the organic soil, which sucked the blood out of his open wounds. The ground continued to digest Enferno's body. Akuma watched on. "Let is feed off your plasma," Akuma sneered and showed no contempt. "As it did to me, long ago…" Enferno fought against the ground that was alive. Organic tendrils, comprised of the bodily fluids purged from others that had been digested by the living soil, lashed into Enferno's body. The tendrils pulled Enferno's flesh away, attempting to dig into the dragon's muscles and into its bloodstream, trying to purge Enferno's blood from his veins. Quenching its appetite, the tendrils would attempt to fuse with Enferno's body. It tried to turn the fierce dragon into an extent of what it was. Every time the Red Dragon opened his maw, fiery flames would lance the organic soil that tried to scurry down his throat. The organic soil was incinerated by Enferno's flame, but it regenerated immediately. Enferno just couldn't breathe; the dragon's nostrils were plugged by the organic substance all around. Thrashing his claws all about, Enferno grew tired and the nerve-wracking pain would soon take its toll. There was just no fighting it. In a last ditch effort, Enferno opened his maw and discharged a hot stream of fire out of the divided jaws. The flames Enferno derived spewed out of the organic ground and into the crimson sky. The ghostly gaze of Akuma curiously examined the unfolding event. Flames hotter than the surface of the Sun poured out of the ground, reducing the organic soil to a charred aftermath of what it once was. Enferno's head broke through the charred surface, breaking his claws out of the ground and pulling his body out of the terrain that was still trying to devour him. Whipping his tail back and forth beneath the ground, Enferno's tail blade slashed whatever it touched. Enferno pulled his tail out of the ground and with one majestic takeoff, the dragon's feet lifted off the ground and the scarlet form of Enferno took to the skies. The soil's tendrils were still attached to Enferno's body, but they were soon dismembered as Enferno gained altitude. The Red Dragon shifted his gaze upon the dark form of Akuma. Akuma stood in an erect posture, casting a livid stare upon the Red Dragon that remained aloft. Curling up his lips, revealing the sharp fangs within, Akuma sent a howling cry that crawled up Enferno's spine and nearly sent the Red Dragon to the ground. Cauldrons of smoke churned from the burnt structures that had been crumbled to the ground. This desolate wasteland required any unlucky visitor to leave as soon as possible. In yet, Enferno would not leave and would continue to fight an opponent whose power could easily eradicate his very existence. Searing out of his jaws, Enferno sent a torrent of fire out of his mouth and engulfed the dark dragon in a fiery tornado. A pulse of dark matter extinguished from all corners of Akuma's body, overpowering the flames that tried to incinerate him. Standing in a humanoid like stance, folding his wings around his chest and waist, Akuma stepped across the soil that wigged between his toes. Surges of electricity dwindled down Akuma's arms and gathered within the balls of his fists. Pointing his fists directly at the Red Dragon, electrical spears ignited out of the palms of his hands and struck both of Enferno's wings. The electric spears pierced the membranes of Enferno's wings and the Red Dragon cried out in pain. Unable to attain his composure, the dragon dropped from the sky and landed in a pile of rubble. Rising out of the rubble, charred corpses sliding off the slopes of his body, Enferno fired another blazing assault from his gaping jaws. Akuma separated the wings with his arms and sent a dazzling bolt of dark matter from his parted-jaws. The two projectiles collided with one another, releasing bright fabrics of light that fluctuated across the dimmed region. Enferno's flame savagely tore into Akuma's energy blast, but the dragon covered with black skin overpowered Enferno's flame with his dark energy. Enferno's flame was being pushed back, failing to advance in its valiant struggle. Scraping through Enferno's flames, Akuma's dark energies tore into Enferno's chest, ripping the skin off his body and digging into the sternum. Enferno's bones and muscles were badly burnt; the force of Akuma's assault lifted Enferno off the ground and sent the Red Dragon flying across the area, not stopping for miles. Akuma's wings fluttered wildly, levitating the black dragon off the air and propelling him through the skies, blending in with the dark atmosphere. His vengeance would finally be achieved once he reaches Enferno… It felt as if an eternity had passed. Enferno's eyes tried to turn away from the world passing him by. The Red Dragon's body was still gliding through the air, helpless and bruised. It felt as if Enferno's ride would never end, until the dragon's body struck the outer haul of a huge tower. Enferno slid down the body of the tower, taking chunks of rubble with him in the process. Nearby, Enferno sensed his dragon brethren engaging in their own battle. Not far away, Enferno's amber eyes spotted Deathbeast and Ultrizard duking it out with the demon duo, Heldarr and Gelynn. Gelynn's organic tentacles sprouted out of his wrists and ensnared Deathbeast's throat. With incredible strength, Gelynn twirled Deathbeast around in circles, not stopping until the dragon had been slammed into the body of a nearby structure. The structure that housed screaming slaves was demolished by Deathbeast's massive size. An orb of electrical power glistened within the bowels of Deathbeast's maw. Unleashing a destructive bolt of raw energy, Deathbeast prayed his electric bolts would strike Gelynn and reduce the demonic warrior to cinders. But Gelynn had opened his own jaws and fired a blazing ball of energy Deathbeast's electric bolts struck the ball of dark origins, but Gelynn's projectile proved to be stronger, as it closed in on Deathbeast's position. Deathbeast's weapon failed to neutralize the coming of Gelynn's assault and the dragon had no choice but to brace for impact. Gelynn's energetic ball pounded into the dragon's chest, generating an explosion that made Deathbeast go flying. Smoke burned from Deathbeast's body as the dragon coated with black scales crashed into the ground. But the landing did not make the dragon come to a complete halt; the dragon skidded across the ground, attempting to impale the ground with his claws to come to a stop, but the dragon's claws only punctured the organic soil and ripped it wide open in the process. Blood gushed out of the wounds the terrain received. Deathbeast finally came to a halt. Inside a large vacant dome, Heldarr and Ultrizard traded skirmishes. Ultrizard thrusted his elbow blades forward, hoping to rip Heldarr's cranium wide open. But the demonic hound jumped out of the way and then leapt at the reptilian warrior, slashing Ultrizard's belly with his claws. Strains of flesh dangled from Heldarr's claws; the hound would not let a free meal go waste and started licking his claws. But the demon dog was quick on the offense once again; the hair on his neck stuck up and a threatening groan escaped the back of Heldarr's gaping maw. Ultrizard stepped back, examining both his opponent and the wounds that had been inflicted on his body. Fresh plasma leaked out of the slash on his belly. Ultrizard attempted to ignore the pain and summoned the eternal energies that resided within. Ultrizard released an eternal beam out of his jaws, Ultrizard attempted to incinerate the 'Hound from Hell' with his fiery power. But Heldarr was fast enough to avoid confrontations with Ultrizard's attack. The projectile unleashed by Ultrizard, crashed into the hard concrete ground and imprinted an impact crater. Temporarily distracted, Heldarr sprinted at Ultrizard and ripped his jaws into the reptile's throat. Ultrizard stumbled back, attempting to not only retain his balance but to get Heldarr off of him. But Heldarr's added weight made Ultrizard fall to the ground. Heldarr felt the warm taste of Ultrizard's blood flow into his mouth. The demonic dog slurped his tongue deep in the freshly made wounds his teeth had already made. Reaching up and grabbing a hold of the back of Heldarr's neck, Ultrizard took his other arm and ripped his elbow blade into the side of Heldarr's mouth. Heldarr yelped in pain and released his vile hold he had on Ultrizard's neck. Repeatedly, Ultrizard stabbed his elbow blade into Heldarr's face. With one last chance to take a shot at the demon before it tried to get away, Ultrizard's hand formed into a fist and the reptilian warrior hurled it into Heldarr's face. Heldarr was knocked into the air and gravity pushed the diabolic canine into the floor. Ultrizard was quick to his feet and already Heldarr was charging, rage flaring in the hell hound's eyes. Using his wings to give a boost, Ultrizard majestically flapped his wings and jumped into the air, ascending higher into the air, nearly touching the ceiling. Heldarr gripped the ground with his claws and pushed his body in Ultrizard's direction. But Heldarr had not expected Ultrizard to twist his body in a full 360-degree angle. Ultrizard's tail sported two sharp spikes jolting out on both sides. These spikes dug into Heldarr's shoulder, penetrating the bone and scraping the skin with ease. An agonizing scream departed from Heldarr's mouth and the hell hound fell to the ground on all fours. Heldarr weakly tried to walk away from Ultrizard, who was still suspended in mid-air, the wings flapping slowly. The demonic canine walked further away, limping in the process. Blood was pumping out of the open shoulder wound. The decomposed air molested Heldarr's bleeding injury. Parasites lunged into Heldarr's cuts and fed upon the creature's plasma. Such tiny life forms didn't pose much of a disturbance. Heldarr approached the exit. A bright glow circulated from behind the chaotic hound. The light brought forth swirling winds that blew between the hairs on Heldarr's body. Before Heldarr could turn around, Ultrizard's energy blast lanced into Heldarr's body and knocked the devil-beast out of the dome. Heldarr's body was covered with debris and blood. The demon on all fours attempted to stand straight up, but the injuries Ultrizard had inflicted on Heldarr had taken its toll. The demon's natural healing functions will eventually nurse Heldarr's wounds. Stepping out of the entrance of the dome, Ultrizard glared at his evil adversary. Ultrizard released a mocking laugh that was directed at the hideous creature known as Heldarr. Heldarr growled and his upper lips pulled up, revealing the sharp fangs within, which were still dripping with fresh blood. Ultrizard took a step towards Heldarr, but then rocks bounced off the top of his head. The draconic warrior ascended his gaze upwards and to his dismay, Gelynn stood at the top of the dome. "Surprise," Gelynn shouted ominously. Organic tentacles lashed out from Gelynn's wrists and wrapped around Ultrizard's body in less than a few seconds. As Ultrizard struggled to break free, Gelynn's tentacles pulled the warrior directly up into the sky. Along the way, Gelynn's tentacles slammed Ultrizard's body against the dome's walls. Repeatedly, Gelynn punished Ultrizard by hurling the reptile against other building walls. Gelynn pulled Ultrizard up to him until both were face to face. Ultrizard could smell Gelynn's tarnished breath. It sickened him… "Meet your destroyer," the Knight of the Kion Dehadrayth declared. "When I'm done with your carcass, Heldarr will feast upon the remains…" Gelynn thrusted his arms in an opposite direction, guiding his tentacles to take Ultrizard to a new destination; uncoiling from Ultrizard's body, the tentacles released Ultrizard and threw him away. Ultrizard's body glided through the air and plummeted into a few structures along the way, breaking past their central cortex. Ultrizard's body bounced around a street corner like a rag doll. The courageous warrior opened his eyes and tried to pierce the thick haze of smoke that had enveloped the surrounding area. But as the smoke cleared, the shadowy forms revealed Gelynn and Heldarr nearby. "I don't care what happens to me," Ultrizard muttered with no remorse. "I have served my duty for the planet I love and those I care about. Fighting to the end is how I planned to die in the first place." Ultrizard gathered the strength to rise to his feet. A glint of retribution flared in his reptilian eyes. Ultrizard raised his arms, preparing to impale his opponents with his elbow spikes when necessary. The eternal power that flowed through Ultrizard's veins was preparing to be unleashed at a moment's notice. Gelynn's ghastly orbs stared intensely at this creature who was willing to die with honor. Heldarr's eyes only considered it worthy prey. But who would make the first move? Heldarr and Gelynn prepared to charge Ultrizard at the same time, but a stream of fire lashed out at the ground before them. The demonic duo froze in their footsteps and watched in interest as a Red Dragon descended from the sky. Ultrizard was relieved to see that it was one of his brethren. "Enferno," Ultrizard said with joy in his voice. But Ultrizard hadn't seen the horrible wounds Enferno had received. Ultrizard would've run up to his ally and attempt to help him, but Ultrizard could not let his guard down. "What happened to you? Who did this?" The Red Dragon leaned his head down and stared at the ground for a few moments. Its prehistoric eyes reared up and examined the two demons that stood before him. Insolent worms they were; demons seeking the approval of their Master and would stop at nothing to slaughter any who get in their way. A mixture of saliva and blood dripped out of the caverns of Enferno's jaws. "I see you two have found a new Master to suck up to," The Red Dragon hissed with disgust. "Bagan's demise wasn't enough for you lackeys." Heldarr growled in anger. Just the thought of hearing Bagan's name was enough to enrage the hound of darkness. Gelynn remained silent, examining the injured dragon. Another of Dogolas' Knights must've slashed into Enferno before any of them could. The rivalry Gelynn and Enferno have goes back nearly an entire year ago. Both monsters had repeatedly fought in cruel forms of combat. Their battles always ended in bloodshed. "Do not mention that foul creature's name in our presence," Heldarr snarled in utter disgust. "Bagan was a fool, we never were his followers. Dogolas ordered us to be his acolytes and we obeyed our true Master." Silence fell upon the four monsters. The cries of war echoed on in the distance. "Enough talk," Ultrizard said with seriousness. When Ultrizard opened his mouth again, an energy blast that irradiated with a bright green glow struck Heldarr in the face and hurled the demonic hound into a wall. Ultrizard jumped backwards, pressed his feet against the wall of a structure behind him and propelled his body directly towards the dazed Heldarr. Ultrizard violently battered Heldarr's face with his fists and embedded his elbow spikes deeper in Heldarr's wounds. Heldarr roared in utter rage and pain, slashing his attacker with his claws and ripping those predatory teeth into Ultrizard's flesh. Blood and muscle tissue alike was removed from each other their bodies. Heldarr dug those sharp claws deep in Ultrizard's abdomen and kicked the ground with his hind legs. The demonic hound pushed Ultrizard off his feet and smashed the reptilian warrior against the ground. Heldarr licked his wet teeth with anticipation and clamped his jagged jaws into Ultrizard's chest. Pulling the skin and muscle away from the bone, Heldarr was eating Ultrizard alive! But Ultrizard would not be denied of his honor and with his elbow blades, Ultrizard slit Heldarr's throat and allowed the demon's warm blood to drip down on his body. A burst of eternal energy soared out of Ultrizard's maw and dug into Heldarr's underbelly, forcing the demon into the air and plummeting into the outer wall of a nearby structure. Smoke and debris smoldered Heldarr's body. Ultrizard succeeded in rising to his posture, preparing to fight with the hell hound once more. Enferno's claws dug into the ground and the Red Dragon propelled his slender body at Gelynn. Gelynn caught the dragon in his arms, but Enferno thrashed his teeth and claws into Gelynn's body. Peeling Gelynn's black armor off with his claws, the Red Dragon swatted Gelynn's head with his own. But the injuries Enferno had already received prevented the dragon from unleashing his full fury. Gelynn took advantage of this. At point blank range, Gelynn's jaws parted and allowed an orb of crackling energy pass. The sphere irradiating bright golden fibers plummeted into Enferno's sternum, the force being packed behind the sphere drilled Enferno away from his foe and into the ground. Enferno tried to rise to his feet, but Gelynn's organic tentacles came down hard, smacking the dragon aside the skull. The dragon's vision faded in and out, unable to keep visual of what is occurring all around him. A sudden roar captured Gelynn's interest. Heldarr crawled out of the rubble and was preparing to strike the distracted Ultrizard, until the roar came once again. Now all four dueling creatures looked up atop a structure that loomed over them. Deathbeast stood at the top of the building, electricity sizzling in his open maw. The dragons had the demons outnumbered. "Curses," Heldarr snarled, blood foaming out of his jaws. Ultrizard caught Heldarr's attention by sharpening his elbow blades against one another. "We're not finished," Ultrizard declared, pointing one of his blades directly at Heldarr. Admittedly, Enferno was relieved to see one of his brethren on the scene, ready to help him. Deep down inside, the Red Dragon knew it would be impossible for him to overcome a foe like Gelynn in the current condition he was in. But with Deathbeast on his side, victory loomed near. That was until the advent of Akuma's arrival, which Deathbeast had no idea that such a terrible foe appeared right behind him. Enferno's amber orbs nearly panicked at the sight of the dark dragon with unparallel strength and ferocity. The Red Dragon tried to warn Deathbeast of a fate worse than death, but it was too late. Akuma's hands gripped Deathbeast's jaws and throat; one hand pushing the back of Deathbeast's neck forward, while the other twisted the jaws in the opposite direction. A loud snap silenced the feuding monsters below. Deathbeast's carcass fell to the ground, life no longer surging through its veins. The hopes Enferno had just gone up in flames before his eyes. *** Flames flourished out of the window frames of structures that stood all around. Thousands of human-sized slaves leapt out of the windows, preferring a quick and painless demise over burning to death. But their bodies had already been burned beyond reckoning and as they dropped, the poor souls were still charred. Once they struck the ground, bodies once organic and solid burst into dust. Those who had succeeded at escaping the towers before being engulfed by a fiery demise had been eaten alive by the living ground they walked upon. The soil literally opened, revealing sharp teeth that tore into the bodies, sucking the fluids that had made up their bodies. Leaping across the rooftops of the burning structures that collapsed seconds after holding the added weight, the Evangelion Units 1 and 2 searched for any that would require their services. The human minds that were present at the core of the Eva's dogma were sickened by the decay of life that had unfolded before their very eyes. Everywhere they turned, life was ending just as fast as fires were being born. Had Dogolas foreseen his own defeat and had set fire to his own domain, having his followers die without ever experiencing a life of freedom? "That bastard is killing his own people," Montyzilla's conscience stated over a com-link that was hard by his companion. The specter of Montyzilla's voice was filled with anger and remorse. "That may be," DinoDragonBoy's own conscious replied, "or this war was the result of such devastation. I admit, such death should never be bestowed upon anyone, but perhaps death is their only escape from a life of turmoil." Those words were enough to make Montyzilla's mind be silent for the rest of the conversation. Each Evangelion landed on a roof that was strong enough to support them both. Dogolas' demons in small packs had been allowed to openly enter the city limits. Immediately, they had come down upon those who were reluctant to be ensnared by their jaws. Mangling bodies apart with razor sharp teeth, the demons blended in nicely with the apocalyptic scenery of this forsaken land. Unable to take anymore, Eva Unit 2 raised his progressive knife and stood straight up. "I'll make the worthless creature suffer," Montyzilla declared and without any input from DDB, the mind of the human in an Eva's body was leaping closer towards its target. The demon, whose body was covered with skin that looked as if it had been burned beyond repair, swallowed the remains of its prey. Quenching its thirst for blood, the demon searched for any survivors. But before the demon could quell its appetite, the Evangelion covered with crimson armor came down upon it, thrusting its progressive knife in the back of the demon's head. The demon shrieked in utter pain and attempted to lash out against its attacker, but Eva Unit 2 grabbed a hold of the demon's scalp and slashed the knife deeper. The demon's head was decapitated long before its teeth could sink into the red armor of the Evangelion. Montyzilla's arrival had caught the attention of other demons lurking in the vicinity. Hordes of the demons charged the lone Evangelion, each anticipating the thought of ripping it to shreds and feasting on the remains. But from a distance, hot burning lead tore into their scalded coated hides, ripping the bodies apart in an automatic fashion. Immediately, as their body parts struck the ground, the organic soil opened and sucked the remains inside. The predator had become the prey. Eva Unit 2 looked over and its artificial eyes fell on the smoldering automatic weapon that was in the hands of his comrade. "See anymore?" the mind of the human trapped within the Red Eva muttered. Unit 1 scoped the area, unable to capture any demons in his targeting range. "Clear," DDB replied to his companion. Resting on one knee, the Eva's artificial orbs aligned with the tip of the barrel. Smoke reached up towards the crimson sky, blanketing the area that resided behind the Purple Evangelion. The biological robot built to defend humanity from devastation watched closely. In such a hellish environment, danger is but a regular occurrence. The Red Evangelion examined the charred remains of slaves who had fallen near his feet. Such reckless ambitions lead to life leaving these poor souls. What life were they meant to endure? Surely they weren't born into existence for the sole purpose of serving another and in return receiving a horrible death? Such thoughts clouded the Red Evangelion's clouded mind. Lurking in the smoke that was rising behind Eva Unit 1, a demon that had lend a helping hand in scourging this land of tyranny, approached the cautious warrior. The human mind lurking in the core of the Purple Evangelion hadn't the idea that Barugaron was hovering only inches away from the back of his head. Venom dripped down the sharp fangs that were housed inside Barugaron's mouth. The demon's hot breath hissed as it left the boundaries of its maw, steaming the air around it. Within DinoDragonBoy's collective mind, the nerve sensors around the Evangelion's neck region alerted the brain that housed the mind of the former human that something was too close. "Monty," DDB whispered, hoping one word alone would be enough to have his ally turn around to face him. "Yeah," Montyzilla said without turning towards his companion. "I think there's something behind me," DDB said faintly. The pilot of the Purple Evangelion didn't know that the human's voice was actually on loud speaker, which Barugaron understood perfectly. The Purple Eva slowly tilted his body around, hoping to point the weapon straight at the creature looming behind him. With the finger corresponding with the trigger, just a little touch would be enough to discharge the rocket-sized bullets. In the distance, the Red Evangelion focused his quadruple eyesight upon the demon that was playing hide and seek with DDB. Moving beneath the Eva's feet, the organic soil was just waiting for Eva Unit 2 to be injured so it can feed off his body. Tiny eyes formed in the ground and with the glare of a bird of prey, its appetite grew at the sight of the Red Evangelion. But its fruitless attempt at savoring the moment of crunching the Eva's body was short lived, as soon as it rushed to aid his companion. Evangelion Unit 1 whirled its body around in a rapid succession, but Barugaron's speed was far superior. It immediately slithered its body around the Eva's own and like a python it squeezed the biological robot with enough force to knock the wind out of it. The powerful grip caused the Eva to drop its weapon. All the blood was circulating to the brain, making the human mind feel nauseous and weak. Even with the Eva's incredible strength in his arsenal, DDB could not break free of Barugaron's binding hold. Barugaron's predatory eyes marbled at the approaching object that was the Red Eva Unit. Aloft in the air, the Red Evangelion had jumped to meet its foe who had made the first move. Barugaron opened his maw, which was pulsating with churning flames. Balls of fire erupted out of Barugaron's jaws, striking the red armor of Unit 2 and knocking the biomechanical warrior out of the path it was on. Plummeting towards the outskirts of the structure that supported Eva Unit 1 and Barugaron, Unit 2 stuck out its feet and plowed them through the dense material that covered the tower's side. Scrapping the armor of the outer haul, the Red Evangelion slid down the side of the structure. Pieces of metal and concrete broke away every second as it approached the ground. The terrain below that had blood flowing through its veins formed a large mouth. Sharp teeth slithered out of the upper and lower halves of the maw. "Shit," Montyzilla shouted along the way down. The pilot would have to time it just right. Evangelion Unit 2 fell into the mouth and gripped the top jaw with his hands, clenching it tightly, while the feet pushed against the lower part of the jaw. The newly formed mouth tried to crunch its prey, only it didn't count of the Eva's amazing strength to deter its natural aggression. But Montyzilla hadn't the time to play around; DDB's rasp sounds that indicated the struggle to breathe crackled over the com-link. Gripping the top of the jaw tighter, the Eva used the lower part of the jaw as leverage. Unit 2 somersaulted forward, releasing its hold it had upon the upper part of the mouth. Allowing the current of wind to sweep its body in the direction it intended, Unit 2 escaped a horrible demise. Crashing its feet against the ground, the combination of the artificial and organic muscles alike allowed the warrior to propel its entire figure into the air. The Red Evangelion's feet touched down upon the rooftop of the tower it had tried so desperately to reach. Unit 1's eyes had been rolled back into their sockets, revealing the blood veins that would normally circulate underneath. Its limbs had grown numb and everything was going dark. The Evangelion covered with scarlet armor charged to assist his comrade in need, but Barugaron spewed forth devastating flames that wanted to capture Eva Unit 2 in its wrath. But the Eva shot out its arms and raised an AT-Field, which blocked Barugaron's attempted strike. The flames crawled over the surface of the AT-Field, trying desperately to find a way in, but the attempts would all be for naught. Barugaron's attempts at penetrating Eva Unit 2's AT-Field had loosened his grip the demon's slender body had over Unit 1. The Purple Evangelion felt a new current of fresh air enter its artificial lungs. Inside the core of the Evangelion's processing, the human within had been able to breathe as well. Eyes that shimmered with power beyond the ages erupted out of the Evangelion's eyes. In an explosive display of power, Unit 1 unleashed the full extent of his own AT-Field. Barugaron's power was great, but even the demon was abolished by the Evangelion's divine might. Currents of the Evangelion's AT-Field slashed into the scaly surface of the demon that had gone airborne. Pieces of Barugaron's azure flesh scattered in all directions, consumed by flames and smoke. But as for the demon, Barugaron had stopped in the air and levitated with a sickening glee of satisfaction. It appeared the two Evangelions would provide a decent challenge, unlike the previous kaiju that crossed his wrath. Barugaron digested its own venom, immune to the terrible affects it would have on any other body. [So long], Barugaron thought with a slight dissatisfaction. [I've been cowering in fear of that fool who had stolen my destiny. I am aware that Dogolas is connected with all his Knights; it should come as no surprise. If commanded, I'd tell it to his ungrateful face. One day, my fangs shall graze Dogolas' flesh and I shall suck all the omnipotent power that flows in that fool's body.] The Eva Units stood side by side, looking up at Barugaron, whose mind had wondered elsewhere. Evangelion Unit 1 bent down and picked up his automatic weapon. "We need to fallback," DDB declared, his words bringing shock to Montyzilla. "Are you kidding me?" Montyzilla replied, his voice demanding action. "Look, don't you see?" DDB started in a rational speech. "Barugaron is waiting to dispatch us one by one. This creature from what we've been hearing fought off Enferno and others with ease. Already it had taken some of their powers. Imagine what it can do with our unparallel strength and AT-Field capabilities." "Point made," Montyzilla replied and with the mere thought of the mind, the Red Evangelion turned and jumped to another rooftop that was several hundred yards away. Unit 1 followed and the two attempted to get as far away as possible. Being left in the smoke filled air, Barugaron slowly floated after the fleeing Evas. With each passing second, Barugaron picked up speed. Literally twirling its body back and forth, acting as if it were swimming through the water, Barugaron flung in the direction of his enemies at speeds that would surpass even Rodan. Eva Unit 1 looked back and unleashed a barrage of hot lead that only bounced off Barugaron's thick hide. The attacks only agitated Barugaron to increase his aerial speed. But the Evangelion Pilots didn't expect their foe to be the type that would follow them to the Ends of this desolate world filled with despair. ***
As Mothra Leo got his senses back after being so severely stunned he took to the skies but unbeknownst to him he was already being stalked by another of the Kion Knight monsters. Rigatron moved through the canyon beneath the gaily colored rainbow moth and positioned himself directly in its flight path. Rigatron closed his huge fore claws together and took aim. Just when Leo was right overhead Rigatron released a powerful energy blast from his joined claws that arched into the sky impacting into the fuzzy abdomen of the moth deity. Taken totally by surprise Mothra Leo let out a chirp of surprise and pain as he plummeted from the sky with a stream of smoke tailing off from behind him. Mothra struck the ground with a tremendous crash and Rigatron advanced on the fallen moth. Mothra struggled to take flight but Rigatron was already upon him bringing his mighty forelimbs down onto the big insect's exoskeleton over and over. Mothra could do little as Rigatron had the advantage as yet another powerful impact fell onto his back causing a break in his body. Blood spurted from the crack like green water that stained his pretty rainbow colored form. Rigatron seemed almost disappointed he had won so easily as he prepared to finish Mothra Leo with one more massive blow to that same injured spot. Another massive blow to the open wound would surely split Mothra wide open. Rigatron raised his claws up high and got ready to deliver his death blow…. = Meanwhile = Vader piloted Cybersaur back into combat against Geranda and released an energy blast that struck the flying form of the Kion Knight dead on but the hard carapace seemed not even the least bit damaged. All he succeeded in doing was making Geranda turn back onto what it thought was a destroyed adversary. Upon seeing Cybersaur not only not destroyed but attacking him Geranda roared with a rage that echoed across the landscape and dove in at him firing plasma beams that struck the robot entity across its upper torso and neck. Smoke filled the cockpit as circuits burned out and systems failed. Red warning lights went off left and right as Vader valiantly managed to keep his robot from falling off its feet. But the massive impact of the driving force that was Geranda's body did knock Vader and Cybersaur to the ground. The metallic body hit with an earth shaking thud and more circuits burned out as Vader struggled to get his robot back on its feet. Geranda landed a few hundred meters away and cackled a roar of victory as he advanced on the downed metal monstrosity. Vader got Cybersaur to his feet just as Geranda was upon him and a jarring impact from the Kion Knight sent the robot reeling backwards on his heels. A second whack across the head jarred Vader to his bones and staggered his robot back further. But Vader managed to regain control and shot back with a solid punch of his own as Cybersaur's metal fist arched through the air and impacted Geranda's jaw solidly. Geranda roared in pain as a second punch hit the hideous thing's jaw. Geranda was now the one being rocked back on his heels as Vader made Cybersaur's fists strike the thing's head and face again and again till a disgusting yellow-green blood began rolling out of the monster's mouth and splashed across its own body was well as that the metallic form of Cybersaur. "Take that you piece of shit!' Vader yelled to himself as he made Cybersaur's fist plow yet again into the obviously wounded jaw of the beast. Geranda let out another roar of pain as another glut of blood surged out of its mouth and spattered across the cockpit windshield obscuring Vader's vision momentarily. He cleared the windshield just in time to see Geranda's wounded mouth open and a bright reddish orange glow form into a massive fireball "SHIT!" said Vader as the fireball engulfed his robot and blasted Cybersaur off his feet and sent it careening through the forest tumbling head over heels till it came to a rest against a large hillside. Geranda was wounded and hurting from the heavy punches to his face and jaw but now saw his opportunity and moved in on the robot to finish it once and for all. Vader shook his head and his eyes burned from the smoke all around him that also made him cough. He felt the earth shake as Geranda moved closer and he managed to get Cybersaur over to its back and saw Geranda about fire another fireball that Vader knew for sure would destroy him and his robot at this close range and in his damaged state. Reacting on reflexes alone Vader targeted the forming red glow in Geranda's mouth and fired a missile that detonated the fireball precisely at the moment it was fully formed and made the deadly ball explode right inside the wounded mouth of Geranda. There was but a brief roar of absolute surprise from the Kion being before its head blew apart in a disgusting array of flying bits of blood and gore. The now headless monster stood on its feet for a moment almost as if the body didn't know it was dead then it toppled over with a great crash as it hit the ground. ""Yeah!" Screamed Vader.. "Take that you…you…you freakin weirdo!" Knowing he had little time to enjoy his victory Vader got Cybersaur patched up as well as possible and got the robot into the air again knowing there was still much work to do. But one of the mighty Kion Knights was down for good and that made his heart soar. As he saw the battles going on beneath him he tried to see where his services would be best applied. But before he could make a decision Cybersaur got rocked by a massive energy blast that made the robot fall from the sky hitting the ground at full force. Before Vader even knew what hit him the massive form of Goldras was standing over him and delivering heavy stomp after heavy stomp into the metal hull of Cybersaur with such intensity it seemed the robot would break wide open. There seemed to be little Vader could do to escape destruction this time… = Meanwhile = Phantom Gamera and Irys are standing over the incredibly wounded body of Gamera. The Guardian of the Universe had been terrible wounded and his green blood stained most of his underside which rose and fell as he laid on his shell sucking in deep gulps of air. The two sadistic creatures decided, after a brief consultation, to make Gamera's pain last as long as physically possible. Phantom Gamera opened his mouth and chomped his long fangs down onto the front forelimb stabbing his long fangs into the bone and ripping the flesh. The pain was horrific. Irys then plunged two sharp tentacles into Gamera's lower abdomen and made them stab their way through his lower guts. The pain there was even more horrible as the tentacles destroyed his innards but not those organs that would cause instant death. No, Irys wanted to make this last a good long time and Gamera wailed out mournful cries of pain and complete helplessness as he was slowly& systematically butchered. But it was his cries of pain & sorrow that drew the attention of the many slaves of Dogolas in this dark realm. They had known pain and suffering much like the heroic Gamera. They were over come with grief at seeing such a brave warrior die so horrible. It took little time for these slaves to reach a consensus and they stood hand in hand and freely gave up their own lives but in the process sent their own life forces into the dying body of the Guardian of the Universe. Just as the life force of the brave slaves of Dogolas entered Gamera's body Phantom Gamera pulled his head back literally ripping Gamera's arm off. Green blood jetted from the stump. Irys meanwhile had made her probing tentacles snake their way through Gamera's body until she finally made them burst out from inside the turtle's body. The two tentacles had entered his lower gut and now they stabbed upward bursting from his chest. Gamera wailed in pain but the surging power of the slave life force surged through him as well. Startling both his cruel opponents Gamera stood up and ripped both of Irys's stabbing tentacles from out his body. At the same time he gave a yank with his one remaining arm and literally tore the two arms off Irys's body. The mutated Gyaos shrieked in horrible agony as she fell back writhing about on the ground. Phantom Gamera too was taken by surprise but his moment of confusion would be shot lived…as would he. As Gamera made a powerful fire sword appear from the stump of his severed arm, an arm Phantom Gamera still held in his jaws. With one swing of the awesome flaming sword Gamera swooshed it across his evil counterpart's head. Phantom Gamera never even had time to cry out as the flaming sword parted his head from his body. A flicker of flame burned from Phantom Gamera's neck stump as his head dropped to the ground quickly followed by the decapitated body. Gamera roared out his trademark chortle of victory and turned around to deal with his long time nemesis Irys. But Irys had fought on despite her pain and stood ready to deal with Gamera and sent two more spearing tentacles forward and they plunged through Gamera's middle and right out his hard shell. Green blood oozed around the entry and exit wounds then Irys sent a third tentacle out and coiled it around Gamera's neck just as Gamera was getting ready to fire a fireball. But the choking arm cut off that attack and Irys pulled Gamera over to the ground. Irys would now make Gamera suffer an even more miserable death for having wounded her and having slain her evil partner Phantom Gamera… = Meanwhile = The Rigatron brought his claws down ready to smash Mothra Leo wide open. But Mothra Leo raised his head up just enough to fire energy beams from the tree orbs in his forehead. Rigatron was taken off guard and his death blow thwarted as he staggered a few paces backwards. Mothra Leo knew he was in the fight of his life here as blood continued to ooze from the cracks in his body. But he righted himself and flapped his wings firing energy pulses from them as well as three more from his head and all five blasts struck their target as Rigatron was blasted right off his feet. With a squeal of pain not heard from Rigatron in decades the powerful Kion Knight was sent careening across the forest smashing tall timbers as if they were nothing more than tall grass. Mothra took to the sky knowing he had to act quickly against such a powerful being. He flew in circles directly above his quarry and began sending down those powerful energy rings that would surely destroy the hideous thing. Rigatron roared in pure agony as Mothra Leo's energy rings peppered his body with pulsing blasts. His insides began to churn as if they were about to boil and a squeal of pain echoed across the canyon. Mothra Leo knew he had this fight won but Rigatron had one more trick up his sleeve (so to speak). Igniting his organic boosters Rigatron flew straight up, right through Mothra Leo's energy rings in a last ditch attempt to save his life. With his claws formed into one massive weapon Rigatron rammed them into the moth's thorax like a giant spear. Mothra Leo's energy rings stopped instantly as he got impaled through his chest directly between his little legs. Rigatron's claws went right through Mothra's body and out his back. Rigatron turned Mothra over in the air and the stabbed Mothra slipped off the impaling claws and fell back down to earth as Rigatron wearily settled back down as well. His body ached inside and out from Mothra's powerful attacks and he wondered if he might even die himself. But Mothra Leo was by far even more worse off. He was on his back with a huge hole in the center of his chest leaking massive amounts of greenish, yellow blood and gore while the exit wound on his back did the same making a large puddle of his own blood like some macabre bed for him to lie in. Mothra wiggled his six legs on more time then became still as his big eyes ceased glowing. Rigatron roared in victory but cut short because of the severe pain his body still felt. He trudged off in search of new opponents. But back at his defeated opponent a flicker of a glow returned to the big bug eyes of Mothra Leo. =Meanwhile = Vader let out a loud grunt sitting in the cockpit of Cybersaur as the massive robot hit the ground. Cybersaur tumbled a few times till it came to a rest half buried in earth from the force of the crash landing. Through the cockpit view screen Vader saw the source of his shoot down; the huge beast Goldras was striding toward him making the ground shake with each step of his massive legs. Goldras let out a roar and fired a salvo of energy bolts from the horns on its head and the result was a large sequence of shorting circuits throughout Cybersaur as the robot's hull tried in vane to absorb the powerful energy streams. More smoke filled Vader's cockpit and he wondered if maybe this time his machine would not have enough power to stand off this latest threat. "Where the hell are the Eva units?" he wondered 'Surely Tomzilla and DDB did not leave him to a terrible fate. They must be otherwise engaged.' Indeed they were. But right now it was Vader facing Goldras all by himself with Cybersaur. Vader got his robot to its feet but a swinging left hook from Goldras rocked both man and machine to their inner cores. Vader gritted his teeth as he & Cybersaur were sent rolling yet again across the landscape. The Kion Knight let out another roar of victory that seemed mixed with contempt as if this measly robotic creation somehow thought it was a match for his power. Vader and Cybersaur shook their heads in unison as the metallic monstrosity valiantly got to its feet yet again. Goldras strode toward it with confidence. The horns on his head crackled with energy getting ready to fire again but Vader targeted the beast with his remaining laser energy and the two operational guns and fired. "Take that!" he said But to Vader's horror Goldras erected some sort of glowing barrier in front of himself and Cybersaur's shots impacted it and not the body of their intended target. To Vader's horror his own energy plasma streams bounced off the glowing shield and were directed right back at him! "SHIIIIIIT!" He screamed to no one in general as the blasts rocked the body of his robot. A deafening explosion and a more and more busting circuits, too many to number at this point began sparking in all points throughout his cockpit and hundreds more throughout Cybersaur that he could not see. But the bevy of claxons going off to warn of overloads and system failures told him tremendous damage was being done. Somehow Vader managed to keep Cybersaur upright though smoke and small fires raged over the outer skin of the robot it stood its ground like a valiant gladiator of old. But the other warrior had something to say too and speak Goldras did with a sudden charge it drove forward and its huge horns stabbed right through the hard metal hull of Cybersaur's breast plates. Explosions went off all over the robot as Goldras continued its assault by firing more energy blasts from those hors right into the inner core of Cybersaur, The energy bolts exploded out of the robot's back accompanied by a series of smaller explosions and billowing smoke from fires set off deep within. Goldras pulled his horns free and smoke and sparks replaced blood & gore that a biological opponent would have had oozing from its impaled chest. Cybersaur stood for a moment as if not wanting to fall over but with Vader now unconscious in the control room it stood little chance. With a slow fall much like a falling timber, Cybersaur fell flat over on its back with smoke and fire coming from the holes in its chest as it fell. The crash of Cybersaur hitting the ground was felt for miles. Neither the robot nor Vader inside its cockpit stirred. Both looked lifeless. Goldras let out another roar, one of total victory. He kicked a few boulders over onto his defeated opponent showing contempt as he trudged off in search of more enemies of his dark lord & master. = Elsewhere = Fusion was still wounded from his fight with Barugaron but, thanks to his Godzilla DNA, his regenerative powers were healing him. He wondered how the fight with Barugaron had turned out after he had been knocked unconscious. He began searching and sensed the fight was still going on. Indeed Barugaron was engaged in battle again, this time with Eva Units 1 and 2. Fusion also heard the cries of Enferno and was torn between which direction to head. But his decision was made for him, he would go to neither battle site. He would be staying right where he was as the huge form of Silvagon appeared before him. The massive creature looked to be covered in a thick coat of heavy armor plates. It had big three clawed hands and a long tail lined with rows of spikes. It roared its challenge and Fusion roared back his acceptance. Fusion lowered his head and charged like a bull with his triceratops hors aimed directly at Silvagon's chest. But Silvagon made no attempt to move out of the way abd stood his ground. He waited till Fusion was almost upon him and simply reached out and grabbed both of the long eye horns and used Fusion's own momentum against him and flipped him over sending him rolling across the ground. Fusion stumbled up to a four foot stance when Silvagon attacked again send a hard punter style kick into Fusion's underside that made him lose his breath as he got sent flying through the air and into a small mountainside. Rock and boulders as well as trees and earth came pouring down the mountain from the impact and half buried Fusion. Silvagon advanced on him with his arms high overhead. He seemed to be looking for his quarry. When Fusion raised his head up and shook the dirt from it Silvagon zeroed in on him and grabbed him by the bony frill around his head and lifted him up and tossed him across the ground. Fusion hit with a earth shaking thud as Silvagon was able to toss his 100,000 tons weight as if it were nothing. Silvagon went after Fusion again intent on destroying this monster. As he approached Fusion raised his head and opened his mouth and let loose with a blast of blueish white atomic fire. The heat beam impacted Silvagon squarely in the chest and stayed on it for several seconds. To Fusion's astonishment the beam had little affect. And if it did Silvagon had no outward signs of it showing. Fusion stood up and roared shaking more dirt & debris off him and charged once again this time he pulled up short as Silvagon made a grab for him again. Fusion whipped his ankylosaur club tail around and whacked Silvagon right in the face. This was the first time Silvagon showed any signs of pain as he got sent staggering backward a few paces as a tooth went flying. Fusion charged forward and tucked his body into a tight ball and plowed his hard ankylosaur carapace right into the center of Silvagon's torso. The impact sent both monsters careening across the ground with Fusion landing on top of the Kion Knight. Silvagon was stunned as he lay on his back and Fusion formed his hands into fists and began punching down into Silvagon's chest and stomach. But to Fusion's astonishment his fists had little or no affect. It almost seemed like he was punching into an impenetrable surface. Indeed Silvagon did have incredibly powerful armor plates that seemed to have no vulnerable point as they covered his entire body. Again and again fusion pummeled his opponent but the only result was blood from Fusion's fists staining the armor plates of the Kion Knight. When Silvagon recovered his senses he sent a punch of his own up and caught Fusion in the chin and sent him flying over to his back. Fusion laid on his back with his four legs kicking wildly as he struggled to right himself but before he could Silvagon landed on top of him and, almost as if he wanted to show Fusion how to perform this sort of attack, he formed his own hands into big bony fist and began punching downward hitting Fusion in the chest and stomach. Fusion had little protection on this part of his body and Silvagon's fist plunged deeply into the dinosaur's abdomen over and over. After a dozen or so punches Fusion let out a moan of pain and threw his head back. A steam of blood came like an eruption from out his tooth filled mouth showing the terrible effects of the internal damage he was taking. Silvagon reared his body back and clamped his hands together to form and mighty two handed fist and made way to deliver what he hoped would be a death blow. But Fusion whipped his clubbed tail back upward and struck his opponent on the back of the head. Silvagon was stunned and his head came forward and Fusion rammed both clawed hands into the beast's mouth. Fusion rolled Silvagon off him and over onto his stomach while he straddled the Kion Monster's back. He kept his hands firmly in Silvagon's mouth and pulled the monster's jaws apart with all his might. Silvagon now showed signs of real pain as he let out garbled screams. Fusion reared back and pulled harder. Blood began seeping from the corners of Silvagon's mouth as well as some white foamy substance. Fusion sensed victory and pulled back even harder. But Silvagon showed some tremendous strength reserves and stood up taking Fusion with him holding him on his back piggy back style. With both arms Silvagon reached back and grabbed Fusion's two long eye horns and flung him off in a back flip maneuver. Fusion landed on his back and rolled over getting back to his feet. He shook his head to clear it. He was annoyed he had been denied a kill just then. Silvagon rubbed and worked his hurting jaw a few times and licked his own blood with a long tongue. He crouched down ready to do battle again as did Fusion. It was shaping up to be a long and brutal struggle and the eventual victor was nowhere in sight.
The ground was warm, moist, and soft. The air was thick, wet, and sour. The world was still, and the lethal creature at the heart of it all remained motionless, coiled in upon itself, reveling in its surroundings, taking in the ground and the air and the world all at once, and always, always, looking within. Dogolas made sure to remain absolutely quiet. It was easier to hear the screams that way. Within the boundless infinity of his own mind, Dogolas observed the carnage. His home world and the Earth warred against one another, and, in essence, themselves. Every drop of blood, every howl of anguish, every hellish blow delivered so far in the conflict had been mentally observed, halted, and analyzed. Dogolas had searched through the minds of his pawns and had seen their thoughts. Every mistake, no matter how insignificant, was laid bare before him, and he calculated every possible consequence of every action taken. So far, things were going well. It was too bad that he still couldn't figure out what it was all for. Ghidorah, Balkzardan, Kongzilla, even the mighty Daijin…All were merely unnecessary pawns, obsolete middlemen who served only to show Dogolas how stupidly inferior they were. Dogolas could have done everything needed alone. If he had chosen to challenge the earth directly, it would already have been subjugated. Why? What was the point in prolonging this? Did he want to watch? Did Dogolas wish to see how his enemies would fare if they were given a chance to succeed? The very idea filled him with revulsion. It was unacceptable, unthinkable. It suggested a profound lack of intellect. The possibility that he wasn't perfect suddenly revealed itself to him. The entire prospect seemed so…philosophical. He told himself that it was alright, that philosophy was a mere pseudoscience created by insubstantial human minds. He was perfect. He was a god. Everything was going perfectly; according to plan. Dogolas hated philosophy. The god turned his attention to the screams. For some odd reason, he thought he heard a trace of his own voice amongst the maelstrom. ======= There is no positive correlation between intelligence and will. When certain factors such as environment, routine tasks, sexuality, and of course, physical and emotional pain are taken into account, the less understanding actually tend to be more stubborn in regard to decisions affecting their way of life than those considered their intellectual superiors. Exhibit A: the Leafcutter Ant. Once, long ago, a spark of innovation randomly struck an ant hive, and these little insects began cutting up vegetation and bringing it to their nests in order to grow the fungus that they ate. Fast forward to now, and they've been doing it for fifteen-million years. Predators attack Leafcutter ant hives on a regular basis, so it's only natural that soldier ants are bred to combat external threats. These specimens are so committed to their duty that the threat of exploding from an internal pressure buildup of chemicals (used to fight off natural enemies) doesn't even serve as a deterrent. Look in a thesaurus under "willpower" and you'll find "single-mindedness" among the synonyms; defined as "Characterized by one unified purpose." It is notoriously difficult to break the will of mindless drones. Destoroyah, the surprisingly intelligent product of many, many mindless drones, was forced to halt his attack. He didn't have time to register the irony before Ghidorah struck again. When you are 150 meters tall, capable of flight, possess immeasurable strength, have no need to breathe, and have eleven (previously twelve) shrieking, gravity-bolt spewing heads, precious few things are difficult. King Ghidorah thrashed about like a mad god and vented his rage upon his enemy, viciously and effortlessly he threw Destoroyah about, defeated all of the crustacean amalgamation's attempts at self-defense, and denied his foe every chance to survive. The King of Terror's muscles danced under his scales as he worked; his heads sang madly. Seeing that their ally was overmatched, Megaguirus and Melba launched themselves at their foe. Light flashed from Melba's eyes, and struck the space monster square on one of his writhing necks; Ghidorah merely shrugged the attack off. Megaguirus began dodging and weaving among the super-monster's heads, avoiding snapping jaws and sharp spines, attempting to draw the beast's attention away from its intended target. Ghidorah was only slightly amused. In seconds, the air was filled with a sickening light as gravity bolts escaped from the creature's cackling mouths. Megaguirus was agile enough to avoid what most assuredly would have been a lethal barrage, but Melba and Destoroyah were not so lucky. A glancing blow struck Melba's wing, sending the ancient flyer crashing to the ground. Multiple, sustained blasts carved deep trenches into the gargantuan form of Destoroyah. The mighty creature fell to his knees, letting out a cry of anguish for the hundreds of trillions of microbes destroyed by the attack. Before Ghidorah could take advantage of the situation; however, he was forced to endure yet another barrage of projectile attacks; Team Destroyer's little foray into the battle. When it began, only a slight tingling sensation accompanied the assault, but when a well (ill?) aimed Nova Blast found its way to the bleeding wound where Ghidorah's recently removed twelfth head had been, pain came with it. Pain. An insult. A slap in the face. (Or a beam hurled into a bleeding neck stump, in this case.) Kings don't generally tolerate things like that. In a fraction of a second, all eleven of the space demon's living heads ceased their disjointed, frightening gyrations and snapped to surrealistic attention. Twenty two malevolent, glowing eyes focused their gaze on the three creatures who dared to cause their master harm. The world died as King Ghidorah analyzed his foes. Battle Island became colder, and the air changed into a substance that was not air, but something heavy, thick, and foul-smelling. For the first time since the carnage began, the island was given time to breathe. Something nearly imperceptible suggested that the island had finally realized the extent of the damage inflicted upon it, and had come to terms with its fate. The atmosphere changed from chaotic to sullen. The only sounds came the doubtful shifting of the Destroyers, the pained moans of downed kaiju, and the soft chirping of amber serpents. Megaguirus hovered silently, found herself unable to attack the large beast before her, and realized that the reason for this was because the feeling known to the humans as "awe" had finally made itself known to her. The idea that anything could be so much more horrifying; so much more powerful than she, as King Ghidorah was difficult to comprehend. The insect imagined that the other creatures, her allies in this fight, were having similar thoughts, which explained away their apparent apathy in battle as mere preoccupation. They would all have to deal with this feeling before engaging their common enemy. Ghidorah; however, suffered no such difficulties. As quickly as it came, the silent moment passed. As one, all eleven of the beast's heads turned and focused on a single point just in front of them, opened their mouths, and let fly with the ancient weapon of Terror's King. Gravity bolts leaped from the Golden god's gaping maws, but they did not trail off, or fly wildly, or suffer the effects of distraction; the blasts converged on one single point, met, mated, and reproduced. What emerged from the joining was a new force of nature. The grand dragon had found it within his mind and power to compete with the absolute forces of the universe, to spit in the face of cosmic design, and the thing that he spawned was something akin to what he himself was: Penance. Team Destroyer had no time even to comprehend what effects Ghidorah's attack would have on them…They certainly didn't have enough time to scream. It ended in something less than an instant. With shocking suddenness, what had once been an alliance of three of the mightiest beings ever to exist was reduced to nothing but a smattering of writhing atoms, endlessly chasing each other throughout the cosmos. Particle acceleration caused the ground beneath where the three creatures had stood to become a lake of hyper-heated plasma. There was no trace left of Team Destroyer, not even the ground they had fought upon. Ghidorah cackled, and there was nothing for the other monsters to do but act. Space Godzilla fired an explosive corona beam, knowing full well the attack would have little effect on his nemesis. Three of Ghidorah's heads turned towards the crystalline monster and spat a steady stream of yellow death, the blasts were ultimately deflected when the extra-terrestrial saurian activated his shield, but that barrier could not hope to withstand any continuous onslaught. Ghidorah hated Space Godzilla. The serpentine demon found the creature's presence insulting. In the back of his mind, he considered the saurian repulsive; a slap in the face to his own majesty. Where was Godzilla himself? Did this pale imitation think to contend with the King of Terror's greatest rival? Why did this…accident proclaim himself lord of the boundless black of the universe? He was the king of the void. Ghidorah would relish killing this pathetic being. And then Zarkorr kicked him in the face. He had ten more to spare, but still…those feet had touched the earth, where animals and people and insects walked and spit and spread their shit. King Ghidorah lashed out with four of his heads and caught this other between his jaws, ready, willing, and able to rip the wretched thing limb from limb. But a new, more efficient idea came to the monarch, and he hurtled his captive towards the stunned form of Space Godzilla. The sound of the impact was refreshing; as were the desperate movements of the two kaiju as they attempted to struggle to their feet. Ghidorah took the time to laugh, as he had done so often in this battle. While this was going on, the monster's twin tails wrapped themselves around the wounded Destoroyah, lifted the amalgamation into the air, and slammed him repeatedly into the scorched earth. This was a thoroughly enjoyable day for the demon, despite the inconvenience of losing one of his heads. Once again, the titan's fun was interrupted. Megaguirus flew into the fray, intent on doing her damage to her newfound enemy. She ended up stinging the beast just behind the left crest of the very head Zarkorr had kicked just seconds before. Ghidorah howled in anger and released the injured Destoroyah. They had a strategy. These lowly beasts were attempting to dethrone the King of Terror head-by-head. "Infidels!" screamed Ghidorah as he literally whipped the dragonfly away from him, and into a nearby rock formation. The vision in the wounded head had already begun to blur. Even as he registered this, he was hit from behind by two potent, precise beams of light. The injured form of Melba fired again and again, hoping to harm the dragon by at least some degree. The beast turned towards the annoyance, taking care to cover his injured head. Jagged bolts of power lanced forward and struck Melba in the face in chest. The flying kaiju fell back under the withering spray, realized that it was burning, and fell into unconsciousness. King Ghidorah cackled again; then he was hit by a rock. He really needed to stop doing that. Exasperated, Ghidorah turned back to Space Godzilla and Zarkorr, who had both managed to scramble to their feet. Space Godzilla sent another telekinetically thrown boulder at his enemy. Ghidorah blasted it apart in mid air. The golden dragon started running towards his foes. He was not simply going to shred them with his beams, no; Ghidorah was going to rip them apart with his talons, jaws, and muscles. Zarkorr and Ghidorah met head on, with Zarkorr coming out the worse. As soon as the two creatures met, the serpentine beast's greater mass sent the other monster tumbling. Space Godzilla moved with surprising speed and lashed out with a well-aimed right fist, shattering the jaw of Ghidorah's momentarily unprotected injured head. The blow was too much for the extension to handle, and it simply quit and died. Ghidorah hopped into the air, and the beast's twin tails shot out from under it, wrapping themselves around Space Godzilla's legs; they pulled, and the crystalline monster was sent onto its back. Screaming now, Ghidorah descended, landing on his enemy's chest. He rose, and fell again, and again, and again. The strain caused several of Space Godzilla's bones to snap, and many of his internal organs were ruptured. Still, Ghidorah didn't stop. Even when Zarkorr rose from the ground and charged at the beast in a desperate attempt to dislodge him, the King of Terror simply mowed him down with a barrage of gravity bolts. Finally, content with the damage he had done, King Ghidorah leaped down from his impromptu trampoline and stepped towards a wounded Zarkorr, letting his twin tails drag across the prone form of Space Godzilla as he did so. When Zarkorr once again charged at his enemy (at a much slower rate this time), Ghidorah knocked the beast to the ground and pinned it with his foot. The Golden Dragon looked at his downed foe. If he had been physically capable, Ghidorah would have smiled. There was nothing to interrupt him now… …Except for a gigantic, yellow fireball. God dammit. When he got to his feet, Ghidorah was greeted by three new figures. The King of Terror looked on in frustration as a loud, squelching war emanated from the mouth of the stocky toad-like beast called Golza. Next to that creature, much to Ghidorah's chagrin was yet another pale imitation of his greatest rival, Godzilla. Midrah let loose a sky-shattering roar and stared at the golden dragon before him. In-between the toad and the imitation stood the great hulking beast known as Orga. There was a sharp pain, and the loss of sensation in another head. Ghidorah leaped back and stared in hatred and disbelief a revitalized Destoroyah, energy horn blazing. The same trick had worked twice, and King Ghidorah was down to nine heads. Behind the crustacean amalgamation, the injured and bloody pulp that was Biokamitra stumbled steadily to its feet. The beast screamed at his foes. He would tear them to pieces. He would visit a personal hell upon each of them. He'd pretty much kill them. There was thunder overhead. The sky was lit by the Sun's erratic aura of light. Shining down upon the city known as Paris, it was a beautiful day. People walked down the paths of sidewalks, marveling the scenery that was breathtaking. To those who had the privilege of observing the feat of human construction, it was a shining example of the lengths humanity had endured in the years it grasped the world in its power. Towering above all of Paris, the pinnacle of this city's achievements, was the Eiffel Tower. Tourists stood from one of the balconies abroad the huge structure, snapping pictures of the landscape below. Marvelous Paris was, in yet its beauty shined even brighter at night. One of the tourists pointed his camera at the sky, hoping to catch a picture of the white foam of clouds to add to his collection. But an object was briefly spotted slicing into the clouds, dispersing all that had been caught in its path. A sonic sound descended from the sky, faintly shaking the ground beneath him. Tourists that laughed and talked amongst each other grew silent as the tower vibrated. A child who had only begun to live sighted the thing responsible. Disrupting the sky with the flap of its wings; a living organism that had been on the Earth longer than all of humanity made its presence known to all. Sonic booms bounced off its wings as it flew over the rooftops of a district in Paris. Ripping the buildings out of its foundations, spectators who sought to see the cause of such destruction would forfeit their lives by being crushed by rock and metal alike. Cars that occupied the streets were swept away by howling winds, joining the fate of the buildings and those unlucky enough to be crushed. From the balconies of the Eiffel Tower, tourists witnessed the arrival of a creature whose wingspan was two-times its height. Gripping talons stretched from the pores of its feet. Its long beak glistened in the panel of the sunlight. Two horns pointed out of the back of its head. A loud, booming cry was emitted from its mouth; a sound so terrifying it was like thunder. Districts beneath the wrath of the winds striding out of its flapping wings were reduced to rubble. Prior to the creature's sudden arrival, the tourists' fates were all but a mystery. But the advent of Rodan brought forth an answer to the equation. Taking pictures of the prehistoric beast, the people prepared for the worst. Rodan's predatory eyes locked onto the Eiffel Tower and the creature flew towards it. Clutching the huge structure with its talons, Rodan attempted to pry the structure open. Rodan's wings vibrated through the air, giving it adrenaline. With the added strength and pressure, Rodan pulled the structure apart with its bare feet. Its reign of terror was only beginning. All across the world, creatures of gigantic proportions made their presence known. Cities governed by Man fell before the might of these walking typhoons. The disaster of Paris was only a small sample of the monster attacks occurring everywhere. Military action was immediately mobilized, attempting to counter these vicious assaults but to no avail. The death toll can only be estimated and never perceived. The backlash of the devastating attacks brought a lingering that all humans are prone to experience: hatred. Acting out in their hatred, the governments immediately blamed the MWF for these uncanny visits by the monsters. The reason the MWF had been funded by the nations of the world in the first place is because its top priority was to contain these creatures. Its duty was to see to it that monsters such as Godzilla would never trample a metropolis ever again. The entertainment value clouded the MWF's number one duty. With the amount of money pouring in from the nations around the world and the ratings the MWF was making on television, the advanced technology utilized had been close to perfect. Only one incident occurred two years ago when the monsters nearly broke out. But now, there was no more control. The media criticized the MWF for its failure. Governments had attempted to ignore the problems manifesting on Battle Island. For weeks, the live broadcasts had been nothing but static. In reports circulating on the internet, the MWF had been at war for nearly an entire month. Only recently had the war escalated in such a destructive manner. The MWF officials tried to convince the other nations that Mankind needs to unite and stop this threat. But failure to comply was expected once the monsters returned to the cities of Man and laid waste to whatever was in their path. The threat of Dogolas was only recognized by those who had kept up to date on what is transpiring on Battle Island. But the rest of the world is only occupied with the threats of these giant creatures that had returned to their stomping ways. Immediately, funding for the MWF had been cut off. At the moment, it didn't matter; the MWF was a multi-trillion dollar corporation. It would be able to afford the cost of rebuilding Battle Island and re-stock on their weapon supplies. But the board members of the MWF knew that they will be forced to pay for the damages the monsters had caused worldwide. Without their CEO to explain the catastrophes the MWF had been facing, there was no way to convince them out of it. It only they knew that the devastation wrought by the monsters was a tragedy, it all paled in comparison to the aging threat that was Dogolas. *** "I can stop him!" In the surrounding darkness, the one who initiated those words disappeared in an aura of light. Revealing the wreckage of debris all around, the brave warrior ascended straight up and plowed the asphalt ceiling with his fists. The warrior shattered the ceiling with his incredible strength and ascended out of a large pile of rubble. Still enveloped by the aura of light that shimmered down his body, Ultraman Dyna was glad to finally be free. Out of the hole Dyna caused, Ultraman Tiga hovered out and scoped the landscape with his eyes. "Dyna, Balkzardan is fighting with GxM!" Tiga hollered and prepared to head straight for the aide of his comrade. The light faded from Dyna's body and the Ultraman returned back to normal. "The fool can't possibly overcome Balkzardan alone," Dyna pointed out loud in an arrogant tone. "With my power, perhaps, but there's no hope for him…" Within the layer of Ultraman Tiga's eyes, there was a bright inner crackle of anger. Such anger the Warrior of Light despised, but it was inevitable at this point. Tiga's hands molded into fists and the Ultraman stomped towards Dyna. The ancient fighter nearly allowed his anger to cloud his judgment, nearly knocking Dyna off his feet with his unparallel strength but Tiga hesitated. "Your arrogance is insatiable, Dyna," Tiga said in an angry voice. "Such arrogance had already led to your defeat at the hands of Balkzardan. If we have any chance, we'd need to work together." Dyna turned to face Tiga and knew his words brought wisdom. Without replying, Dyna's body levitated off the ground and hurled itself in GxM's direction. Not far behind, Ultraman Tiga followed. Sharp, jagged spines blossomed with the atomic fury the saurian possessed. GxM opened his jaws, allowing atomic flames to churn out of the cavern of his mouth. Unleashing a torrent of nuclear power, GxM attempted to vaporize Balkzardan who stood atop the apex of a tower nearby. Manipulating the energy blast with his elemental might, Balkzardan reduced the projectile to dispersed particles that were only a fraction of what they once were apart of. Angered that his attack had no merit, GxM charged towards the Knight of the Kion Dehadrayth. At the right moment, Balkzardan allowed a sheet of ice to manifest on the ground GxM walked upon. Unable to adapt fast enough, GxM slipped across the ground and fell against the frozen tundra. The spines that pointed out of his back ripped into the icy ground, the impact the body dealt sent cracks splintering through the ground. Balkzardan leapt off the top of the tower and allowed his body to be dragged to the ground by gravity. Summoning the forces of nature, Balkzardan stopped only a few inches above the soil and sent a wave of vengeful winds. As GxM attempted to rise upright, the atomic saurian was caught in the wrath of howling winds that managed to lift the colossal reptile off the ground. Hurling the massive reptile in the opposite direction it intended; GxM felt his spikes slice into the outer body of a building tainted with a crimson color. The howling winds that had pushed GxM into the structure stopped. GxM summoned the nuclear power that surged in the bowels of his spines, atomic flames shot out of his mouth. Spines still stuck in the side of the structure, the intense heat irradiated out of the spikes melted the metallic makeup of the building. Balkzardan was blinded by the unprecedented fury of GxM's atomic might. A beam made up of nuclear energy burned into Balkzardan's body, attempting to incinerate the mystic creature from where it stood. In yet, the heat given off by GxM's radiation was manipulated to feel as if Balkzardan was receiving a tan. Gripping his claws in the soil, Balkzardan used it as leverage to pull his body forward. Now in the distance Balkzardan intended to be at, Balkzardan swiped his claw across GxM's face, delivering a knockout punch that pushed GxM deeper into the wall, bringing the whole structure down. The building toppled on top of GxM's body, the saurian eagerly trying to break free. Balkzardan's eyes became enriched with an azure glow. A twister swirled around the piles of rubble, quickly reducing the temperature around it. It soon was reduced to a frozen statue of what it once was. The eyes of Balkzardan gawked at the frozen pyramid of debris, knowing the creature buried beneath was still alive. But as it seemed as if Balkzardan's wait would last for hours, the ice melted and flowed down the slopes of the rubble cloister. The rubble dispersed as a beam plowed its way out of the wreckage, waging its blistering war upon Balkzardan. But Balkzardan was the 'Master of the Elements' and influenced the flow pattern of the atomic beam. Now having to budge, streaks of GxM's atomic blast flew harmlessly past Balkzardan. GxM's eyes were filled with rage, but were soon blinded; from all corners of Balkzardan's body, bolts of energy crackled, irradiating huge volumes of light. Within an instant, Balkzardan bolted towards GxM in the form of light. Balkzardan's claws ripped into GxM's sternum, removing a layer of flesh and filling the creature with a surge of electricity. The testament of the physical blow was evident as GxM's body wildly flew through the walls that were present inside the building and out the other side. The large building toppled to the ground, being replaced by a large haze of smoke. Raising its upper lip, revealing the sharp fangs that mocked the dazed beast, Balkzardan's sneering expression brought forth winds that disrupted the smoke and blew it away. Balkzardan's serpent eyes glistened from an inner course of power. GxM lay on its back, the reptilian juggernaut nursing the wounds that had been dealt. Smoldering from slash marks engraved in the sternum, the creature's wounds begun the repairs necessary. Consuming the space in the frontal arch of Balkzardan's jaws, a sphere crackled to life. Feeding off the dazzling array of energy circulating out of the horns stretching out of the lower parts of the jaw, the energetic sphere enlarged its mass. Ripples of light shimmered in the decaying ruins of the torn and battered city. The unlikely coming of pain and misery was apparent; GxM's spines crackled to life. The gleaming a radiant of supremacy, the saurian prepared to unleash his own wrath upon the one that controls the elements. In an erupting display of ascendancy, the sphere spawned a ray of kinetic force that seared towards GxM. Parting jaws that housed the core of a radioactive inferno; GxM unleashed a glimmering onslaught of nuclear doom. Colliding in the desolate backdrop of a destroyed metropolis, renegade bursts of energy collided and attempted to trounce one another. Combining the fortitude of light each gave off, the beams heralded the arrival of aluminizing particles. Blinding the landscape with its aura of unnatural irradiance, the two clashing beams pushed with dominance. Effulgent tributaries poured endlessly out of the cove of GxM and Balkzardan's gaping maws. The force emptying out of GxM's jaws rammed into an even greater strength, applying enough pressure to compel GxM of being pushed back. Claws that horizontally curved outwards scraped the macrobiotic soil, allowing blood to riddle out of the opening carved by GxM's claws. Nearly losing balance, GxM dug his tail into the ground to remain standing. Seeing the assailant giving up ground, Balkzardan summoned the frigid elements to come down upon his foe. Freezing GxM's body rock solid, the heat given off by the flowing radiation managed to halt Balkzardan's attempts for the moment. But Balkzardan concentrated on the radiation lingering within GxM's spines. Manipulating the heat to decrease in temperature, a sea of ice crawled up GxM's body, freezing everything it touched. Distracted by his bodies metamorphous into an icy statue, the saurian was unable to divert enough power to stop Balkzardan's energy blast in its tracks. The ice crawled up GxM's body and enmeshed the outskirts of the reptilian's jaws. Heat extinguishing out of the monster's gaping maw failed to melt the ice; it soon suffered the fate the entire body had already been dealt. No longer pouring out atomic energy, GxM was at the mercy of Balkzardan; such mercy was not granted and was instead replaced by the chaotic coming of Balkzardan's energy blast. The beam of pure energy carved into GxM's wounded chest, ripping flesh and muscle alike in the process. Such an assault defied gravity by flinging GxM's ravaged body backwards, into a pile of structures that concealed slaves that tried to hide from the prowling demons afoot. In yet their suffering was short lived, GxM; however, was not so lucky. Perhaps death would've been beneficial. Anything would've been better than the intense pain GxM was feeling. Dust cluttered the massive crater imprinted in GxM's chest. While Balkzardan was unable to see the wounds he had inflicted on his opponent, the scent of blood entered Balkzardan's nostrils, informing him of the damage caused. If rubble had not converged on GxM's battered body, then all would be able to see the blood-stained ribs no longer guarded by a thick covering of flesh. GxM felt the vermin nibble at its insides, feasting on the charred bodily insides that were caught in Balkzardan's fury. Treading across the ground, electrocuting the soil in its footsteps, Balkzardan was weary of the atomic reptile. History had shown that the monster had always returned after terrible damage had been made, increasing its rage and power in the process. "Just let it go, Earth Warrior," Balkzardan shouted out loud with sympathy. "If you surrender, I will see to it you receive an honorable demise." Electrical surges pulsated from all corners of Balkzardan's body. Undulating into thin-air, Balkzardan became encased in an electric barrier. It was perfect timing. Beams plastered upon contact with Balkzardan's shield. Gliding on a mission that would lead directly to Balkzardan, Ultraman Tiga and Dyna closed in. Energy blasts blazed out of the palm of their hands, closing in on their intended target: Balkzardan. Tiga and Dyna's attacks succeeded in striking the outer fortification of Balkzardan's shield, forming shockwaves upon impact. A barrage of energy blasts continued to sear out of their hands, attempting to penetrate the shield that had been constructed. Failing to discharge assaults strong enough to pierce Balkzardan's barrier, the Ultramen ceased and summoned the inner light within. Ultraman Tiga shot his arms out forward, overlapping one another in the process. Tiga separated the arms and allowed energy to circulate in between. Being sucked into the pearl attached to Tiga's chest, the Warrior of Light prepared to launch his strongest attack. Tiga's right arm rose directly up, allowing it to stand on top of his left, forming an L-Shape. Bursting out of the right elbow, Ultraman Tiga unleashed the Zepellion Beam; while at the same time, Dyna stuck one of his arms directly up, having the other do the opposite. Light spiraled around the pearl embedded in his chest. Dyna combined his arms together, forming a T-Shape. In the upper layer of Dyna's hand, an energy blast was emitted and strode straight towards Balkzardan. The two signature attacks assaulted Balkzardan's shield. Hampering the defense barrier Balkzardan's shield yielded, the Knight of the Elements sensed the failure of his barrier at any moment. The shield was faltering and would soon collapse, putting Balkzardan at risk. Slicing the shield into oblivion, the two rays met impact. Igniting the portion of terrain in a brilliant ball of light, it was thought their foe had been utterly vanquished. In unison, the two Ultramen impeded their massive assault. As Tiga expected, all they could see was an impact crater carved in the living soil, gushing with blood and decay. Repulsed, Dyna turned away, hoping to spot Balkzardan in another direction. "How was he able to survive that?" Dyna shouted lividly. "Nobody should've been able to withstand our combined attacks! Let alone mine." The bright essence of Tiga's orbs caught a glimpse of a wounded GxM buried in rubble not far away. Swirling about Tiga's body, the Ultra-Warrior was encased in a cocoon of light. The light faded in tiny particles, revealing Tiga in his Speed Mode. No longer was Tiga's uniform a mixture of red, silver and purple; but now, it was only purple and silver. Tiga's body was slimmer and more flexible. Without informing Dyna, Ultraman Tiga flew in GxM's direction attaining a level of speed that resembled a streak of light. Dyna hovered thousands of feet above the ground, not warranting the will to join Tiga in going to aid the dinosaur. Dyna squeezed his fists, allowing it to show signs of physical distress. "I still don't understand how he escaped," the Warrior of Light exclaimed suspiciously. "Teleportation, perhaps…?" Dyna's question was answered in the form of a cool, rasping whisper that echoed like the wind. "All speed, young one," Balkzardan muttered from atop a nearby tower. Dyna rotated to face the elemental manipulator, stunned to see the creature still alive. "Nothing is that fast," Dyna angrily made clear. Balkzardan sneered and took a step forward, then paused. His tail whipped back and forth, generating its own current of wind that blew without a whisper. Serpent eyes embedded in Balkzardan's face glistened with a wave of light. Beneath Balkzardan's claws, ice crawled out of the base of the paws and crept across the surface. Electricity sizzled around certain parts of the creature's body, casting an ominous aura and sending shivers down Dyna's spine. Frightened of the unknown, Ultraman Dyna inoculated a barrage of blistering beams from his hands. From Dyna's viewpoint, Balkzardan disappeared in a flash of lightning. A bright flare cultivating behind Dyna lead to the warrior to spin around, knowing full well it was none other than Balkzardan. But just as Dyna turned to meet his foe, Balkzardan's claw smashed against Dyna's face. Vision becoming all but a blur, Dyna struggled to regain his composure. Balkzardan had other plans and slashed the razor-sharp claws that extended out of the fingers of his hands. Slashing moats of disfigurements into Dyna's body in rapid succession, the Warrior of Light was driven astray by Balkzardan's furious swipes. Literally driven into a structure incapable of withstanding the destructive might of its newest visitors, it crumbled on top of them. But even with thousands of tons of solid rock and metal toppling on their forms, the two would not give in. Dyna managed to smash his fist against Balkzardan and deter the elemental creature long enough to transform into his speed mode. Now capable of traveling faster, Dyna defied gravity by hurling his body at Balkzardan. Pounding Balkzardan aside the face with a volley of punches, Balkzardan was forced to discharge an electrical pulse. The pulse caught Dyna and drilled the warrior off his feet, sending currents of electricity coursing through his veins. Ultraman Dyna was thrown into a wall that had managed to remain standing until now. With the added weight of the wall and the rest of the building attempting to crush every inch of his body, Dyna fought to break free. Succeeding in doing what he intended, Dyna's gleaming eyes searched the wreckage from within a structure still falling apart. Balkzardan was seen not far away, staring curiously at him - mocking him. Cascades of light shined out of Dyna's closed fists. Thrusting the fists in Balkzardan's direction, Ultraman Dyna unleashed a bombardment of energy blasts that slashed its way in Balkzardan's direction. Sticking out of the pile of rubble that consumed his entire body were spines that belonged to GxM. Tiga's hands clenched a large boulder and threw it out of the way. Grabbing GxM's wrist, Tiga pulled with all his might. Dragging the damaged GxM out of the rubble, Tiga was proud to see that GxM was still in one piece. But words could not describe Tiga's shock when his celestial eyes gazed at the massive wound encrypted on GxM's chest. The cells flowing inside GxM's bloodstream had been attempting to repair the damage shaped by Balkzardan's physical attack. "I'd ask if you are alright, but I think your wound speaks for itself," Tiga laughed in an attempt to spring up GxM's will-power. The atomic saurian drilled one of its feet into the ground. Using the floor as leverage, GxM pushed with all his might and managed to rise in an upright position, meeting Tiga's gaze. GxM's hot breath steamed the damp air. Just by staring into GxM's expressive eyes, Tiga knew there was more than just pain that harmed the monster. Catching their attention, a few miles away energy blasts pierced the crimson sky. Tiga was skeptic at best and focused harder, succeeding in having a visual on what was transpiring miles away. In a tower crumbling from within, streaks of energy blasts continuously fractured the walls and strode off in the direction of the sky. "The fool is fighting Balkzardan alone," Tiga declared while scorning Dyna's personality. GxM snarled in regards to Tiga's comment. Tiga was silent, wondering why GxM had emitted a threatening growl, until it finally occurred to him. "I apologize, I wasn't specifically implying that you were a fool," the Ultraman hastily mumbled, attempting to salvage the respect he had earned on this journey from the dinosaur. Instead, GxM stomped in the direction that would eventually lead to Balkzardan. Enveloping his entire body in an aura of light, Ultraman Tiga used the power up gathered by the light to transcend the speed GxM was currently going at. The Warrior of Light intended to reach Balkzardan first and inflict as much harm as possible, hopefully preventing the elemental knight from inflicting an attack that could prove fatal. Dyna was caught in a whirling wind that crackled with bolts of lightning, bringing forth a variety of painful experiences; Dyna was electrocuted while at the same time felt as if his entire body was being pulled in all directions. No longer bound to the wind's will, Dyna was heaved thousands of feet away, crashing into buildings along the way, until finally coming into contact with the ground. Dyna's moments of peace were short-lived; in a flash of light, Balkzardan arrived on top of an edifice and looked down at Dyna like a bird of prey. "Stay down, just stay down," Balkzardan mentally urged the brave combatant from Earth. Dyna's hands un-folded and pushed the ground, feeling it ripple between his fingertips. There was a low moan beneath the soil and Dyna attempted to hear exactly what was transpiring below. In the angle Balkzardan observed, things weren't looking good. The noble Knight of the Kion Dehadrayth heard a message being carried in the breeze. The message contained growls of Dogolas' demons on the prow, sensing the injured Ultraman Dyna. They were on their way to move in for the kill. But Balkzardan's instincts located another threat happening beneath Dyna. But what were Balkzardan to do? Sit and watch Dyna fight with valor, eventually being slain by the snarling pack of demons or being gorged by the living ground? A tentacle embodied by the decaying essence of those who had perished long ago, lashed out of the ground and entangled Dyna's throat. Unable to immediately adapt to the situation at hand, several other tentacles wrapped around Dyna's waist and legs. Dyna's hands were too occupied with the tentacle constricting his throat. The strangling temporarily left Dyna powerless. Ultraman Dyna groaned in dissatisfaction and used that anger to try even harder to break the tentacles apart. Patience running thin, Dyna's empowers his hands with his eternal energy. Acting as energetic sabers, Dyna slashed the tentacle in half and freed his throat of the painful grip. One by one, Dyna sliced the tentacles off his body. Free of the insolence, Dyna hovered off the ground and made sure to get as high as the rooftops. Too occupied to notice Balkzardan, Dyna was given no quarter at all. The soil was starving for new blood. Tentacles by the trunk load sprouted out of the ground, attempting to scourge Dyna's body and pull the fighter to the hungry jaws that lurked beneath the soil. Unleashing a variety of rays from his fingertips, Dyna made sure the tentacles were ripped asunder before they could ever reach the Warrior of Light. Balkzardan watched curiously, amazed by the tremendous effort Ultraman Dyna was showing. But the elemental warrior was aware that such courageous efforts wouldn't last forever. Tentacles grazed by Dyna's vehemence sprouted new tips, regenerating what was once lost. Putrid smells ached from the organic soil, reminding all of the dead that once had the satisfaction of living. With energy depleting, Dyna would have to retreat. In yet where would the brave soldier head off to? Hide in a tower miles high? Eventually the hungry soil would reach him. The only way out of here would be to head back to his home world. But Dyna didn't possess the means of returning. Left and right, no matter where the Ultraman turned, tentacles were dangling in his direction. Energy sliced out of the pores of Dyna's fingertips, slashing the tentacles in half before they could reach him. In yet, it only took a few seconds to regenerate the rest of the lost tentacle. It was an endless maze of inevitable death. Trying to fly harder, hoping the tentacles had a limit, Dyna still met opposition none the less. At such a high altitude, Dyna managed to spare a few seconds by casting a stare of the malevolence that strode in the form of snarling demons. "Great," Dyna said out loud, trying to feverishly recoil his suffering. "Things can't get any worst." It was then that Dyna spotted Balkzardan watching him not far away. Still unleashing a bombardment of energy beams, Dyna had no time to fire at the manipulator of the elements. It would've all been for naught, there was no about that Balkzardan could've easily deterred such a futile attempt in the first place. The odds were heavily stacked against him. Despite the arrogance that prowled his mind, Dyna was willing to accept certain doom. Ultraman Dyna would not go down without a fight. One of the tentacles succeeded in snapping its gruesome form around Dyna's ankles. Pulling the mighty warrior down with incredible strength, Dyna was for the moment helpless. Tried as he might, Dyna was too occupied with the other tentacles to shoot the one that was the most threatening. Seeing the ground come closer and closer, Dyna thrusted his hands simultaneously and unleashed a cutting shape of energy that freed the Ultraman of the tentacle's hold. Too close to utilize his flying ability, Dyna braced for impact, but instead a dozen tentacles plowed into his chest and sent him flying through the air. The direction Dyna was heading unwillingly would prove to be fatal. Dyna managed to catch a glimpse of his destination and wasn't pleased to see hundreds of the dark demons waiting for him. Hunger flared in the dark voids of the demons' eyes, drool containing viral diseases slurped out of the caverns of their mouths. Dead flesh tangled around the fangs inside their mouth. Constantly mutating, changing shapes and sizes every day, the demons had torn minds that could neither recognize a fellow demon nor recall events that had transpired beforehand. Demons on Dogolas' world only listened to their instincts, which dictated the thirst to feed. Normally, the demons wouldn't dare attack one of Balkzardan's statures, though it has happened. But now the anticipation to feed at last was growing. A few of the demons looked at the others around them, thinking what a joy it would be to rip their jaws into the other's legs and rip it out of its joint. Suddenly, the brooding demons shrieked and hollered, as they all charged. To some, sight was an inability at the moment and only flocked to where the rest of the pack was heading. Ultraman Dyna had collided with the hosts of demons. Already, Dyna cried out in painful grunts as the demons scraped their claws and teeth into his body. Like rabid jackals, they viciously attempted to rip Dyna's body apart. Against perhaps a dozen or even forty, Dyna would've had enough strength to deter them. But for every demon the Ultraman batted away, several would take its place. There were hundreds converging upon his body. Instead of blood seeping out of his wounds, it was the source of plasma that enabled the warrior to continue to live: light. Particles of light escaped the painful markings being chiseled on his body. It wasn't exactly the demise Dyna intended to experience. Only the darkness of oblivion now waited for the Warrior of Light, escorting him was a world of endless pain and misery. But salvation brewed in the form of sweeping winds that washed across the dark cascade of creatures that were neither alive nor dead. Freezing the demons rock solid, Dyna's eyes caught the feed of all that was occurring too late. What had just happened? Whatever occurred, Dyna's demise was postponed and now the MWF Warrior summoned what strength had not yet been sapped. Shattering the crystallized corpses of the demons still gathered around his body, Dyna worriedly glanced at what left him speechless. Hundreds of demons were now frigid statues of what they once were. Dyna waved his hand over one of the demon's frozen face, wanting to see if perhaps there would be any sign of life. There was none. By some phenomenal act of nature, an entire battalion of starving fiends was stopped cold. Ultraman Dyna surveyed the area with his binocular vision, unable to locate any unnatural occurrence in the weather. There was a disturbance in the ground, something stirred not far away. Too close for comfort; Dyna spun around, expecting a horde of demons that survived the freezing winds. "You," Dyna said astonishingly, not prepared to combat a being far superior. Balkzardan examined the injured warrior that stood before him. Instinctively, Balkzardan sensed the fear in the warrior, but knew Dyna would fight none the less. An interesting specimen, one Balkzardan wished he could take under his wing, if Dogolas allowed such a thing. It wouldn't be wise to convince Ultraman Dyna of becoming one of his protégé, and then taking him to Dogolas for permission. Who knows what horrible deeds Dogolas would inflict on Dyna, and that would inevitably happen even if Dyna was converted. Such horrible years of torture Balkzardan had to endure. "Young one, I spared your life," Balkzardan alleged in a serious tone, silencing the cold howls of the wind. "And now I demand an answer to the proposition I shall grant you." Hesitant, Balkzardan was, but he had to take a chance. This is a being who is far older than what his personality would reflect, in yet such skill and determination was not something he was willing to see go to waste. Particles accelerated in the chasms of Ultraman Dyna's palms. In this barren wasteland, Dyna wasn't taking any chances. Such generosity came at a price and Dyna wasn't willing to let his guard down. Lurking in the abyss of Dyna's sparkling eyes, there was a hint of modesty. In truth, Dyna did desire peace and would prefer everything be resolved peacefully. One of the reasons of why Dyna volunteered to go on this suicidal mission is to perhaps change things without the means of force. But it became evident upon his arrival it would've signed his own death warrant. "Do you think you actually have a chance as dissuading me?" Balkzardan teased Ultraman Dyna for preparing for the worst. Ultraman Dyna sighed admittedly. "I believe our skirmish earlier had shown I am below your fighting standards." Balkzardan snickered from Dyna's truthful words. Indeed, this child was unique in his own strange way. A mixture of strength, power, arrogance and wit; Ultraman Dyna would be the perfect subordinate. Crackles of lightning illuminating with a scarlet glow, flashed rapidly inside the interior of Balkzardan's horns that stretched out his lower jaws. Feeling threatened, Dyna's hands now pointed directly at the mythic creature. [Balkzardan can summon the elements with just a minor thought. I would be frozen before I could even get a shot off], Dyna thought reluctantly, with no real hope or planning. "Now then, I have an offer you shouldn't refuse, stranger from another world," Balkzardan revealed in a non-threatening way. "I have decided that you are qualified to be my apprentice. You are worthy, and I just can't stand by and see such talent rot away thanks to Time." Balkzardan paused, allowing Dyna to process the declaration that had been offered. "Think of it, young one," Balkzardan continued, "time would no longer be a factor. You can harness your true skills, growing in power and wisdom. If successful, you will be worshipped like a God. Your decisions can influence billions of lives. Truly, one intelligent as you can recognize the honor that I am bestowing you." Dyna was speechless. Only the soft whispers of the wind carrying cries of forbidden war occurring in all parts of the metropolis was heard. Dyna marbled at the frozen demons that had come so close to ending his life. Would it be possible to improve his own capabilities and defeat entire armies? If what the mythic creature said is true, then Dyna could've easily brushed these inferior pests aside with one thought. The idea of such power and wisdom was intriguing. "I, um, well I was expecting to be dead, so I'm afraid I can't give you an immediate answer." Dyna mumbled, trying to process his thoughts and exert them in a proper manner. In yet, there was too much going on. Accepting Balkzardan's decision would be treachery, Dyna would be labeled a traitor through out the cosmos. Earth isn't the only planet that is occupied by civilizations that are aware of his existence. Such a betrayal would easily change the flow of Light that empowers him with what Balkzardan became aroused by. Unless there was a deal made. Ultraman Dyna mentally processed the words required and then said them out loud. "I will humbly accept your offer, under one condition." Balkzardan's serpent eyes dim, no longer tainted by an eerie green glow for only a short period of time. The two bones that curved out of Balkzardan's back crackled with electricity. Overlooking the events transpiring below, the crimson clouds in the sky above transformed into gray clouds, but only for this one little sector. It appeared Balkzardan was examining Dyna's words. As Balkzardan processed a decision, Dyna felt the presence of Tiga and GxM in the nearby vicinity. It wouldn't be long until they have arrived. The serpent eyes returned to the neon green glow that struck fear in whatever they ensnared with their gaze. "Very well," Balkzardan exclaimed in an eager voice. "Depending on the condition and if it is successful, we can begin immediately on our training." Ultraman Dyna nodded and took one step closer to Balkzardan. "My comrades are spared by whatever harm this planet has to offer and they are safely returned home. Earth is spared of what horrible fate Dogolas had in store for it." Dyna paused and then continued, "If these agreements are met, then I will keep my word and be your trainee." The mythic beast of elemental attributes processed Dyna's bargain. Balkzardan knew his Master, Dogolas, would never agree to such terms nor would keep such a deal should he openly agree. Such betrayal would not be wise. Balkzardan despises the idea of breaking promises, considering it a fool's deed. And betraying one unique as Dyna would be a disgrace to everything Balkzardan considers distinctive. "You know Dogolas would never accept such a thing," Balkzardan reported with reluctance. Dyna wasn't shocked by the answer that was as clear as daylight, only the Ultraman was expecting the elemental warrior would try to lie. Is there honor floating around inside that damaged conscious? Is it possible that there is a harbinger of good within Dogolas' own ranks, hidden by the Deity's knowledge, if that is even possible? "Then I have another proposition," Ultraman Dyna declared, having an idea of Balkzardan's answer already. "You join our crusade against Dogolas; help us overcome the ruthless dictator. If we succeed, the planet is yours and I will be at your side." An interesting proposition, Balkzardan thought bitterly. There was no possible way that either of them could abolish Dogolas from this realm alone. While pondering, a sound caught Balkzardan's attention; a stone toppled off a structure and hit the ground. Raising his serpent eyes, Balkzardan glared at the one who initiated the stone's removal from its resting place, Ultraman Tiga. No longer in his speed mode, the Ultra-Warrior had returned to his omni-mode. But Tiga did not attack, Balkzardan knew why. In all his experience of dwindling in this forsaken land, Balkzardan had only known stupidity and violence. Seeing foes he had already encountered in combat hesitating to attack for the sole purpose of not endangering their own comrade was refreshing. It satisfied that emotion Balkzardan had locked away ages ago. Eons have passed, eons of turmoil and malice, but now Balkzardan had found entities not a spawn of Evil, but the opposite. Perhaps betraying Dogolas was the natural path. The worst Dogolas could do is simply annihilate his body, sap the mythic dragon of its mind and forever suffer in the God's unholy grace. But Balkzardan had been doing exactly that all this time, suffering just by being one of Dogolas' strongest warriors. Being ordered to slay entire civilizations, summoning typhoons to rapture everything in its path; earthquakes to shatter cities and devoid them of life; tornados to sweep across the land and the worst element Balkzardan deploys, the ice age. Entire planets had been thrown in an ecological catastrophe, as a result of being covered with ice and snow. Such terrible deeds had been wrought by Balkzardan's valor. It was time to change. "I accept your offer," Balkzardan replied nobly. Dyna nodded and turned towards Ultraman Tiga, hoping to give him a signal not to engage. But it suddenly dawned on Dyna on what Tiga was doing. Telekinetically linking up with the Warrior of Light that stood a few hundred feet away; Dyna learned of Tiga's strategy: he was only a diversion. Rapidly spinning around, attempting to search for the assailant, Dyna spotted GxM behind them. Covered in darkness, Dyna recognized the ballistic reptile by the hint of radiation glistening down the bony spines that protruded out of the back. Light mimicking the shimmering glows of the Sun dwindled out of the inner recesses of GxM's maw. The darkness vanished, being replaced by the atomic fury that had manifested in the monster's gaping maw. Balkzardan's serpent eyes caught the glint of atomic passion. Splintering the air with the spewing essence of an atomic beam, GxM sent the projectile on a mission to incinerate the mythic dragon that had survived his wrath for the last time. Boiling the ground as the beam shot past overhead, GxM was blinded by the radiant of his own beam. In a split second, Balkzardan spawned a swirling twister in the beam's trajectory, catching GxM's wrathful weapon, ripping it apart. The winds slashed the atomic flames, removing whatever threat they once posed. Unable to cope with the reality of failure, GxM continued to spew the radioactive fatality of annihilation. But the powerful beam was done for just as soon as it was interfered with its objective. Angrily, GxM ceased firing the destructive ray and shattered the area with a roar of insolence. No longer needing a defense, Balkzardan's twister faded. GxM's enraged eyes caught the mythic dragon in its gaze. Stepping in Balkzardan's direction, GxM stampeded towards the mythic dragon, the thought of ripping the ruler of the elements piece by piece with his bare hands was far more desirable than vaporizing him. Slurping his serrated teeth with his tongue, anticipating the thought of crunching Balkzardan's bones with his jaws, GxM was now closer. Balkzardan cast a look of disappointment at Dyna. "They don't understand!" Dyna replied, hoping to save the dying connection they had. "Of course they don't," Balkzardan shouted, eyes crackling with blue lightning. Splitting the ground asunder with his elemental might, Balkzardan watched as the infuriate saurian plummeted in the bloody abysmal that lingered beneath the hungry soil. Ensnared by tentacles, claws, teeth and maladies, GxM fought to survive a fate worse than death. Feeling the layer of flesh that covers his entire body being shredded every second, GxM fired volleys of atomic beams that sliced in the endless ocean of decay. The dinosaurian struggled to dispel the hungry tentacles embedding in his skin, thrashing with recklessness. Dyna was in complete utter shock. "Save him," the warrior shouted, hoping the mythic dragon would surrender his animosity and save a creature that had come to save its home. Instead, Balkzardan swiftly fixed his eyes upon Ultraman Tiga. Horns that jutted out of the mythic dragon's lower jaws sputtered with eternal providence. The horns generated energetic feelers, which slithered into the opening of Balkzardan's mouth, combining to manifest a sphere of power. Splintering out of Balkzardan's jaws was a beam of pure energy. Ultraman Tiga had leapt out of the beam's path, feeling the heat it generated in the process. Tearing the air with his presence, Tiga flew directly at Balkzardan. But in a brief flash, Balkzardan met Tiga in mid-air, grazing the Warrior of Light with his claws. Piercing Ultraman Tiga's armor, particles of light representing Tiga's life force oozed out. Empowering his fists with energy, Ultraman Tiga fiercely clobbered Balkzardan aside the head. The mythic dragon felt the electric shocks rush to his nervous system, hoping to initiate a nervous breakdown. In yet the ruler of the elements stopped any attempts, instead the flow of electricity rewound its progress, flowing into Tiga's body and delivering him the shocks that Balkzardan managed to divert. Entangling his claws in Tiga's flesh, Balkzardan plowed forward, using the power of the elements to achieve such velocity that made Tiga plummet in the opposite way he intended. Feeling the ground strike his body, Tiga bounced out of the impact crater his body inflicted and rolled across the ground. Balkzardan landed not far away, the serpent eyes of the mythic dragon glared at the Warrior of Light. In the crevasse that Balkzardan created, where GxM was still fighting for his life, wind started to suck everything in the area inside. Acting as a temporarily black hole, Tiga's fingers scraped the soil in an attempt to not be pulled in. But Balkzardan's elemental doing managed to overpower Ultraman Tiga. Dyna watched as his comrade was whisked away by the wind and pulled into the bleeding crevasse of this planet's suffering. Fighting the same critters that attempted to rip GxM apart, Tiga slashed his energetic fists in all directions, hoping to survive long enough to escape. Dyna was able to walk freely, no longer being threatened by the sucking winds. The Ultraman ran to the opening in the ground, not trying to get too close to be pulled inside and eventually devoured. As powerful as GxM and Ultraman Tiga are, they will not be able to fight forever and eventually will be assimilated by the hungry terrain. Dyna turned towards Balkzardan, sincerity gleaming in the pores of his eyes. "They attacked me in cold-blood," Balkzardan snarled, angered by the action he had to take to preserve his own life. Ultraman Dyna argued immediately. "Only because they felt my own life was being threatened! If you just kept them at bay, while not threatening them in the process, we could've compromised. Your experience on this planet and the horrible deeds Dogolas commands for you to carry out has rotted your judgment." Those words reeked of the truth. "Well, now they'll never take the time to hear me out," Balkzardan declared unhappily, "I've sent them to their graves!" Dyna walked closer. "You'll have no choice but to try and save them." A look of confusion swept over Balkzardan's face. "What do you mean?" "Without me," Dyna began, "you have nothing to look forward to in the future, but the same old twisted orders that dictate you to slaughter millions. If there truly is good in you, then you will attempt to be a hero." With that, Ultraman Dyna leaped into the bloody crevasse that his comrades were trapped in. Literally swimming through the fountains of blood, Dyna hooked his arms together and fired energy blast that destroyed whatever it touched. But with new prey now present, tentacles slithered around Dyna's body, digging their teeth and claws in his flesh. Dyna cried out in pain, his painful screams hushed by the flowing plasma. Seeing Dyna in trouble, Tiga's body was engulfed by light that manifested in the palms of his hands. Spewing an energy blast out of his hands, Tiga vaporized the tentacles that threatened Dyna's life. But Tiga's noble decision left him helpless to stop other tentacles to rip into his body. GxM's atomic flames seared the underground ocean of blood and death, in yet the creature's life was dwindling. It was hopeless. But a decision was made. In the crevasse of where all three entered this quagmire of suffering, powerful twisters formed and began to suck them out. Using this chance of attaining freedom, all three fought even harder. Slashing and burning the tentacles off their bodies; GxM, Tiga and Dyna were pulled out of the hungry terrain by an elemental force. Being gently placed on the ground, all three were thankful to see the gray clouds that had converged overhead. Dyna twisted his head in Balkzardan's direction, providence flashing in his eyes to thank the mythic dragon. "I spared your lives," Balkzardan declared while walking towards them. "Perhaps now Dyna and I can inform you of an agreement…one I'm sure you'll all be aroused by." Hours had past since Balkzardan changed sides. The mythic dragon was accepted by the two Ultramen, but the fiery atomic reptile, GxM, was hesitant to accept Balkzardan's offer. But as these hours flew by, GxM was slowly accepting the creature that can control the elements. In yet, should Balkzardan betray any of them, GxM's wrath will be unlike anything Balkzardan had ever seen. Another deal had been made that Balkzardan would show them a path that will lead them in Dogolas' direction, but the mythic dragon would part ways with Tiga, Dyna and GxM, to go assist others that require his services. "Now your allies must know of my betrayal, now I shall even out the odds," the mythic dragon shouted before being consumed by a gleaming aura. Within an instant, Balkzardan left the trio in the form of a lightning bolt. Tiga and GxM watched Balkzardan leave, their eyes equipped with the ability to see rapid moving objects. But Ultraman Dyna surveyed the torn battlefield, pledging an oath that when this is all over, he shall change everything for the best. All the suffering the planet was used to will be gone. The surviving slaves will earn the right to experience freedom that all should endure. But the thought was short-lived; a scarlet beam punctured the ground and arched in Dyna's direction. Leaping out of the way, Dyna avoided the crimson projectile but was shocked to see that it had not only penetrated the ground, but mystically it opened a portal to a realm filled with lava and fire. Pouring out of the ground that had been scraped by the scarlet beam, lava and fire attempted to disintegrate Ultraman Dyna. Barely succeeding in avoiding an agonizing demise, Dyna turned to see if his allies were fortunate enough to have made it as well. Luckily, GxM and Tiga were no where near the boiling fate that could've robbed them of their existence. But their attention had been acknowledged. Gleaming red eyes appeared in the darkness that blocked the trio of their destination. GxM spat a nerve-racking roar, easily enraged by any who would dare to attack him or his comrades. Stomping in the assailant's direction, GxM's jagged spines entombed the illuminating awe of fiery lightning. Atomic flames lingered out of the opening of GxM's parted jaws, churning with the absolute power GxM managed to summon from his body. Splintering the path that leads to Dyna's attacker, GxM's atomic flames spat forward. The bright radiant GxM's ray gave off revealed the assailant as the monstrous creature known as King of Mons. But the atomic beam was forsaken by King of Mons' barrier, which crawled in the beam's path, preventing it from passing. Joining in the fray, Tiga and Dyna pressed their arms together, firing a combination of their strongest attacks. GxM's beam wasn't the only projectile trying to penetrate King of Mons' shield. The shield started to falter, it was then that King of Mons called for assistance. Satanbizoh and Kilialien came from opposite angles, tackling the Ultramen to the ground. Satanbizoh looked down at Ultraman Dyna with animosity while holding up his fist, which had a scythe-blade pointing out. Driving the scythe straight down, hoping to pierce it into Dyna's skull, Dyna managed to move his head. Satanbizoh's blade sliced into the ground, spraying blood out of the injury his blade inflicted on the soil. A deep gurgle rumbled beneath the ground. Dyna recognized the intent of the living ground and sprang to action. Smashing his feet against Satanbizoh's abdomen, Dyna leaped up and ran out of harm's way. "Coward," Satanbizoh snickered, but was outraged to learn of the reason of the Ultraman's retreat. Organic tentacles, dripping with blood and pestilence, slashed into Satanbizoh's body. Tugging one of Dogolas' Knights into the hungry terrain, the living ground finally had the pleasure to feast on one more appealing than the average demon and slave. Ultraman Dyna levitated off the ground, flying in Tiga's direction. Ultraman Tiga smashed his fists in Kilialien's face, but the horrifying Knight nestled his hands around Tiga's throat. Dyna pointed his fingertips at the hectic abomination and fired energy blasts. Covering Kilialien's entire backside in a shower of sparks, Dyna could only pray that the two Ultramen will succeed in defeating this vile creature, and then proceed to help GxM against King of Mons - if he lives long enough. Miles away from the trio, Eva Unit 4 watches a heated battle between father and son. Godzilla's jagged spines clattered against one another as the mighty beast clobbered Kongzilla with his claws, shattering Kongzilla's body jaw. But the abomination's injuries healed not long after. Strength beyond even Godzilla's own, Kongzilla plunged both claws in Godzilla's underbelly, ripping the King of the Monster's flesh off its surface. The jagged spines became enriched with atomic bolts, casting an entire cascade of light down Godzilla's backside. Firing an atomic beam at point blank range, Godzilla felt the dissatisfaction of hearing his own son wail in agony. "Such a horrible deed fate had given you, Godzilla," Tomzilla whispered sadly from the Eva's cockpit. "Forced to combat your own son to the death; such a tragedy no parent should ever suffer." Knowing it would be best to assist Godzilla, the human had already decided this duel should involve relatives only. Such a foolish decision, Tomzilla thought, knowing strategically this can hamper their entire mission. In yet, interfering may even result to Godzilla's child calling out to its parent to help. No matter what wounds Kongzilla will inflict on the King of the Monsters, Godzilla would always love his son. Such emotion Godzilla will not receive in return.
