| Zilla Height: 90 meters Weight: Unknown Powers: Zilla's leg muscles enable the giant iguana to leap far distances. Its jaws, claws, and tail are obvious weapons as well. History: On a bright, sunny day, the city of Sydney, Australia, became the stomping ground of a giant iguana known as Zilla. With its powerful jaws and crippling feet, it reduced large portions of the city to rubble. Miraculously, the horror suddenly disappeared. To the surprise of the world, an alien race known as the Xilians had come, heralding a new era of peace and prosperity. But to humanity's dismay, the Xilians' offering of peace was a fraud. After cities around the world burned to the ground, the remaining human survivors sought to free the one force on Earth capable of repelling the alien invasion: Godzilla. The Gotengo, a hovering battleship designed by the EDF: Earth Defense Force lured Godzilla to Sydney. There, the Xilians deployed the ferocious Zilla to engage the King of the Monsters. Sadly, Zilla lacked the quality of a God, and as a result, Godzilla eradicated the giant reptile with his powerful atomic beam. Fighting Power: *** Despite receiving an average rating, Zilla proved to be a surprise. Even with the little screen time it had, Zilla showed a remarkable level of speed and agility. For example: Godzilla firing his atomic beam at Zilla for the first time. Zilla actually jumped over the beam without being scorched. Against a foe that possesses a weak projectile or doesn't have one at all, Zilla's strategies would prove effective. One cannot consider Zilla's body armor weak, since even if he was vaporized by Godzilla's energy blast, Zilla wasn't alone. When stacked alone against this Godzilla incarnation, the odds are heavily against you. Amazingly, Zilla lasted nearly a minute. Not bad, not bad at all; however, there isn't much we can quantify when it comes to ranking Zilla's fighting power. Zilla's feats, while small, are impressive. But it isn't enough to get above an average rating. Safe to say, against an agile foe that's strong, cunning, and powerful, Zilla would likely not find victory any time soon. |
