As we can see Michael has a very nice and well displayed collection of figures focusing mainly on Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, his favorite Godzilla movie. I have to say it is also my favorite of the Heisei era. I particularly like the domed Godzilla & Destroyer figures in the center of picture #6. Thanks Mike !!
Top Five Favorites :
1) Bandai Super Walk Destroyer (in pic #3) - the pinnacle of my collection, my absolute favorite Destroyer. The detail on the rubber skin is impeccible and it towers over my other figures. One of my first Godzilla toys, and it got the interest rolling.
2) Bandai Burning Godzilla (in pic #7) - My top Godzilla. My friend Mr Aki went to Japan and found this for me at the yen price. While maybe not my most detailed Godzilla, the sheer size makes it stand out from the rest.
3) Bandai Aggregate Destroyer (in pic #4) - Another find from Mr Aki at the yen price. I like the head the best, and the play value is high with nearly a dozen points of articulation. I also like the fact that this figure was used as a prop in the movie.
4) Bandai Monster Island Set (in pic #7) - My favorite candy toy set, it comes with 26 1" monsters and two island pieces. For sheer volume, this can't be beat. Nearly all the Toho monsters are represented, so I can stage some fun battles!
5) Yutaka GvD SD Mini Figure Set (in pic #4) - A rather sentimental pick, this set contained my first Destroyer figure. Actually, it was my first Japanese figure set, period.
