We are members in good standing of the Canadian Kennel Club.
All our breeding dogs are registered.
Before contacting us about any dog we have available, please read HOW COULD YOU by Jim Willis.

Please also take the time to read
I Died Today.

We take the future happiness of each of our puppies seriously. If the above pieces do not make you cry, please do not contact us.

When you inquire about a puppy, please answer the questions in our
Questionnaire. (You willl need to save the file to your computer in order to attach it to an email to us.) The questions are a guideline only; please feel free to tell us anything about your home & family that may help us choose the puppy that is the best match for you.

If you are interested in a Hobbithall puppy as a companion, please read our
Pet Contract before contacting us. A Spay/Neuter agreement is part of our contract.
Please research or ask a veterinarian about health issues common to Cocker Spaniels. Remember that all dogs, purebred or otherwise, are prone to various health problems. We do what health screening we can on our dogs, and encourage all puppy buyers to inform us of any health issues that may arise so that we can try to control problems in our program.

Buying a Registered Dog
As members of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) it is our responsibility to ensure that your dog's registration is in order. All our dogs are registered and all puppies will be registered and transferred to the new owner as per our contract.

You will be responsible for registering your dog with your local council and ensuring extra vaccination requirements (such as rabies) are met.

We do not place our puppies prior to 8 weeks of age, and prefer 10 weeks. Any puppy that has to fly as cargo must be a minimum of 10 weeks (airline rules). Before being placed in new homes all our puppies
- are microchipped
- have had at least one multi-vaccination (puppies who leave us after 12 weeks will have two vaccinations) We do not vaccinate for rabies.
- have been health checked by a veterinarian (we have finally found one worth his fee!)
- are paper trained (or started)

Puppies will come with
- 6 weeks free pet insurance (if pup is under 6 months)
- food (about a week's worth of the food they're used to)
- a blanket
- a toy
- a puppy information package
- Lifetime Breeder Support. We believe that we are responsible for each puppy we bring into the world
for the life of that dog. If you ever have any questions or concerns we hope that you will contact us. We hope to be informed of any health issues or concerns that arise. We can only make knowledgeable decisions about our breeding program if we are aware of issues in our lines.
