Having nowhere to go because he promised his parents he wouldn't return home untill he got into Tokyo U, he stops by the Hinata Inn. Keitaro's grandmother owns this inn and he was hoping that he could stay for a while. Well, after some strange happenings, he finds out that the place is no longer the Hinata Inn. Keitaro's aunt, Haruka, informs him that his grandmother, Hina, has retired and left for a trip around the world. Before she left, she turned the Inn into the Hinata-Sou, a girls only dormitory.

After another strange turn of events, Keitaro's aunt recieves a fax from grandma Hina. It turns out that she wants Keitaro to be the manager of the Hinata-Sou. And thus the problems arise with a man being the manager of a girls only dorm.

Unfortunately for you, this is going to be all the information of the storyline I shall give you other than that he still strives to get into Tokyo U. However, I shall give you the chance to view the storyline yourself.

Most people may wonder, Why should I read the manga?

I shall try to persuade you. I have heard of Love Hina before. I didnt know anything about it other than it's intro song was sung by Megumi Hayashibara. Naturally, being an Anime fan, I wanted to see this show, after hearing how funny it was. I am a big fan of Romance Comedies such as Ranma and Tenchi Muyo. I found some sites which host the Manga for downloading. I downloaded and read the entire series. (14 Volumes) I have to tell you that this quckly became my favorite series. Love Hina is hillarous and very touching at the same time. When I say "touching" I am very serious, not just a happy story. In my opinion, the storyline of Love Hina digs down and finds the deepest, most emotional part of your heart, and pokes the hell out of it. So now I wish to spread the Love and Joy of Love Hina to anyone who is willing to find out. So before you pass it off as another romance comedy that is not worth your time, at least download the first volume and try it out!
