| Way back in the early days of HACKHOCK the 'arena', as it could be called, was simply a bunch of sleeping bags, pillows, and blankets stacked to make a small playing space. Later these old boundry markers were discarded in favor of tables tipped on thier sides. These boundries were too temporary and were unusable when not in the church's basement*. (see WHAT IS HACKHOCK for more info) After leaving the ski trip our small group of friends decided that the temporary walls and psudo-goals would not work for the full HACKHOCK experience, it had to be PERMANENT. And so our small group set forth, gathering what supplies we could and slowly beginning construction on the Arena. After months of working the Arena was finished even with an added on net as a boundry! |
