Gold Country Rose Society
The Gold Country Rose Society, founded in September, 1982 in Auburn, California, is a non-profit affiliate of The American Rose Society The Gold Country Rose Society (GCRS) hosts a program meeting at the Rose Room in the Community Center on Lincoln Way in Auburn at 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of every month except July and August.

The objectives of GCRS are to promote a generous public spirit for rose growing throughout the area, to share scientific and educational information in rose culture, to sponsor an Annual Rose Show free to the public, to help individuals with rose problems, and to aid the American Rose Society in evaluating the performance of rose varieties.
