Why is he my favorite player?
He's a steady young defenceman who doesn't try to complicate play.  He makes the right play at the right time and because of it, has had minimal mistakes and a great +/- this season (+15 in the regular season).  In addition, he contributed 6 points in the Oilers six playoff games and got invited to play with Canada in the WHC.  Obviously that shows some skill. If you've seen the picture section, you'll remark that he's also a fine looking kid.  But I wouldn't have noticed that if he wasn't a good player first.
