nter the Gaudy Gallimaufry -- a gallery of gizmos, a basket of baubles, a rickshaw of writings, a tableful of tales. Here you will find the magpie-like collection of creative works in progress produced by a writer from the American Midwest. Consider with me the poetics of parody, the facetiousness of fanfiction, the vagaries of verse. The tea is steeping, and there is coffee in the pot and sherry in the cabinet. Take a bit of cheese and some bread, sit down with me and turn some ancient (and not so ancient) pages. And don't forget to try the lemon curd: it's homemade!
