Roenick beat goaltender Ed Belfour on the short side during a two-on-one break 7:39 into overtime Tuesday night, giving the Flyers a 3-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs and sending Philadelphia into the Eastern Conference finals. Radovan Somik also scored and Robert Esche stopped 34 shots, setting the Flyers up for a matchup with the top-seeded Tampa Bay Lightning beginning Saturday.Mats Sundin, with a goal and assist, and Karel Pilar rallied Toronto by scoring in the final 11 minutes of regulation to force overtime..Full Story  (Source: NHL.com)

Although no Leafs took home major awards, both Mats Sundin and Bryan McCabe were named to the second NHL All Star team. This will be Sundin's second time on the second team and McCabe's first. He finished fourth in the rankings for the Norris Trophy. McCabe became the first Leaf defencemen to get the nod for the team since Borje Salming. Other players to make the second team were Chris Pronger, Roberto Luongo and Ilya Kovalchuk. The first All Star team consisted of Scott Niedermayer, Zdeno Chara, Martin Brodeur, Martin St. Louis, Markus Naslund and Joe Sakic......
