Ernie Martinez. Taken at Cobb Bridge. Ernie was killed by a booby-trap July 10, 1969 between Tugboat and Cobb Bridge. Ernie, Jack Lackey, and Doug Whiting were killed on the spot. Their squad leader, Tom Root, lost both legs and died July 27th while on the plane to Japan. |

Pfc. Norman E. Dawson. He was killed July 16, 1966. The casuality records said he was killed by, "multiple fragmentation wounds." This usually means a booby trap. No idea where this was taken. These pictures were loaned to me by Marie Simonelli who was engaged to Norman when he was killed. |
