Will the sun ever come out? We've had lots of rain and clouds this month. I was lucky to see part of the lunar eclipse through the clouds! I have been very busy this month with my homeschool evaluation and my end of year test coming up in June. I can't believe third grade is almost over!
I am working on writing my own Pokemon adventure story. In math I've been working on fractions and probability. I'm still working on spelling and I finished my Biome book for science. For reading, I have finished the third Harry Potter book. It was great! |

I did lots of fun things this month. I was busy with Cub Scout activities. My den built model rockets for our rocket day. I launched my rocket three times! I chased after my rocket every time. The first time my rocket got launched my parachute got fused together! The second and third times, the rocket came down smoothly. Some other rockets landed in the trees and telephone wires. Some didn't even come back! |

Seems like we've had a busy weekend each week. I've had two friends' communions, and I also went to the Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. I am also still going to basketball, piano and dance. I have a dance competition on May 31st. |

June - National Zoo & Aquarium Month
Check out your nearest zoo or aquarium this month. Take paper and pencils and sketch some of the animals so you can create your own zoo at home! Or take photos of the animals and put them in a little photo book with the name of each animal-it makes a great book for a toddler or preschool girl or boy!
June 2-National Yo-yo Day

June 14-National Flag Day
Have a red, white and blue day in honor of the flag of the U.S. See if you can find pictures of all the different flags that the U.S. has had. Draw you favorite one. Maybe you could have a cake decorated in red, white and blue. Don't forget to fly the flag today! |

The big news this month is that Gabrielle got a big kid bed! My mom made a quilt to go on top of her new bed. It is blue and yellow with quilted stars and it's very beautiful. Gabrielle loves her new bed. The first week she kept asking if it was time to go to bed! Mom says, "If only she would sleep later in the morning!" |
