Name: Edward "Eddie" Crane

Age: He's about 12-13 years old.

Home: 1901 Elliot Bay Towers, Seattle, WA.

Job: Martin's partner in crime. Also very good at annoying Frasier.

Relations: Puppies by Phoebe, the next door neighbour's dog.

Martin got Eddie after being forced to retire from the Seattle Police Department. He lived with Martin for a couple of years in their apartment (and kept staring at Niles) before moving in with Frasier in 1993 after Martin hurt his hip again. Eddie started staring at Frasier instead. In 1994 Eddie got the neighbour's dog pregnant and is now a father of a litter of puppies. He was neutered shortly afterwards. Later that year Eddie found his favourite toy in the park - a Barbie doll, much to the dismay of Martin.

In 1996 Eddie had another romance with lady, the dog belonging to Martin's girlfriend. 3 years later in 1999 he killed Robbie Greenberg's hamster. Eddie has been busy recently, visiting a few schools for talks on safety, eating the leftovers in the apartment and still staring at Frasier.

Eddie is devoted to Martin, and likes Daphne, but only puts up with Frasier and Niles as they can annoy him. He gets his own back though with his staring. Eddie likes to laze about in the apartment, but also loves been taken for walks in the park where he plays with the other dogs. He likes leftovers, particularly if they are something expensive Frasier doesn't want him to have, or muffins. Eddie doesn't like going to the vet or taking a bath, and has learnt the meaning of both words "bath" and "vet" that Frasier once had to speak to Niles in French when they tried taking Eddie to the vet! He isn't too keen on opera or politicians, either.
