Skyline: Fireworks explode over the skyline.

Plot: Frasier can't decide whether he should dump the "perfect" Claire, whom all his family like too, for the wilder Lana after having dreams about her. After asking everyone he knows - plus a few other people - he decides to break up with Claire.

After they return from Belize, Frasier does so, and Claire is naturally upset. She storms out and the family are upset too, especially Martin and Daphne. Frasier goes to the airport to see if his luggage has turned up and meets a man named Bob, who wants to go back to his ex. Frasier encourages him to go for it. Back in Seattle, Frasier and Roz get invited to Kirby's graduation party, but Frasier has a surprise when he gets there. It turns out Bob is Lana's ex husband and he wants her back!

Frasier knows he's blown it and so decides to go to his log cabin for a few days to calm down. Whilst there, his subconscious talks to him in the form of Lilith, Diane, first wife Nanette and his deceased mum Hester!!! Will they help Frasier figure out what's wrong with him?

Meanwhile Niles returns from Belize as "Island Niles", who, together with Daphne likes nudity and wearing shorts (!) - but Island Niles doesn't last long due to Roz getting her nudist beaches muddled up.....

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: Lilith and Diane make an appearance, as does Frasier's first wife Nanette. Nanette here is in her 20's, the age she was when Frasier married her, and she appeared in Cheers as a children's entertainer played by Emma Thompson. Diane refers back to when she met Hester in Boston and Hester threatened to kill her if she married Frasier. There's a few mentions of Sam Malone (the owner of Cheers) and Diane paints a picture of him as well.
