Skyline: A monorail is seen travelling across the city.

Plot: Roz arrives at Cafe Nervosa, having spent the last 2 hours trying to get tickets for Alice's favourite kiddie entertainer, Nanny Gee, only to find it was sold out. Niles says Frasier might be able to get tickets for the show, as he used to be married to Nanette! Roz and Alice drag Frasier to a bookstore where Nanette is signing her books, and she manages to get 3 front row seats for them. Nanette doesn't seem very interested in Frasier, but when all the kids are singing the Peek-A-Boo song with their hands over their eyes, Nanette gives Frasier a passionate kiss!

Frasier invites Nanette over to his apartment, hoping to rekindle their romance, but once there her assistant Donald comes in - who is also her husband! Nanette tries getting passionate with Frasier again when Donald's back is turned, and confesses she wants Frasier as she is trapped in a loveless "marriage of convenience". Although both of them are attracted to each other, Frasier refuses to make love to her because she is married.

On the day of the show, Roz and Alice are sitting in the audience waiting for Frasier, who has gone to see Nanette in her prop room to tell her he can't be with her. However Nanette says she will cancel the show because she is feeling so bad. Frasier feels sorry for her and so "for the children" they start making love on the oversized bed in the prop room. Unfortunately the bed starts rising through the ceiling of the prop room onto the stage - the show is beginning! Frasier is naked and can't reach his clothes or jump off, so is now trapped on the bed during the show.....

Meanwhile Niles has bought an expensive sweater with money that was being saved for the baby's college fund, so he is distraught when an unsuspecting Daphne wears the sweater and gets it dirty!

Subtitles: Where The Wild Things Are; Bright Lights, Big Problem.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name: A couple of mentions of Lilith as Nanette thinks Roz is Lilith, and Frasier recalls his last meeting with Nanette back in Boston (in the Cheers episode "One Hugs, The Other Doesn't", where Lilith, who was unaware of Frasier's first marriage, got into a catfight with Nanette!).

Trivia: Lots of mentions of Ronee in this episode - Martin spent the weekend at her house getting up to all sorts of mischief. Something which Frasier, who has no had sex for 6 months, doesn't want to know about! Alice returns for the first time this season. Laurie Metcalf steps into the role of Nanette, becoming the 3rd actress to play her (Emma Thompson played her in the Cheers episode, and Dina Waters played her in Ep 188 "Don Juan In Hell). Apparently Emma Thompson had agreed to reprise her role but had to pull out at the last minute. There was a little in-joke by Nanette as well, as she asks Frasier if he has any idea what it is like to play the same character for 20 years - of course, Kelsey Grammer has been playing Frasier for 20 years!
