> > 3 / 28 / 03 The Special Goodness has taken off in ways I never though possible. How exciting! Their third album "Land, Air, Sea" has been released and is actually being sold by select music merchants. In addition to opening several dates for the Foo Fighters, apparently a US tour is planned. This, I'm sure you all know, because I know it. As much as I would like to think that I'm all cool, this information is available at Pat's site. So, news wise, there is little point to me making the futile attempt to update. But, you know, still come by and check.

As for this site, I've decided to leave it, put up this look on all of the sub pages, and add to them all of the things that have popped up online lately. If you have anything you would like to contribute, e-mail me and I'll gladly post it with some props. So anticipate things moving around a bit for the next few weeks as I gradually sort everything out. My priorities right now are getting all articles and interviews linked and backed up in case their sites go down. Then comes the huge task of the history because the lineup has changed more times than Michael Jsckson's nose. Then whatever else needs work will get done afterwards.

Let me just say you get some pretty strange things when you type "the special goodness" in at google. Examples: "Enjoy the special goodness of an old-fashioned cobbler today. Our cobblers are made with plump, sweet fruit and Mrs. Smith’s famous home-style crusts..." "What is that “special” type of goodness? Jesus - that’s the special goodness..." "If every person around is created in the image of God and God sees the special goodness in each person, then we need to look for that goodness...". Bling.

Long time, no update. Sorry. Whole graduating from high school schpeel is catching up with me. I have two fun surprises, email questionaires Pat was kind enough to fill out. I also got to meet Pat for all of ten seconds last week, swell guy. He gave a really big smile and very sincere thankyou when I told him that I enjoyed the new SG CD. If you haven't already, I suggest buying it, its money very well spent. Get it at thespecialgoodness.com. So read the new questionaires under the interviews section. Rock.

I no longer own the only SG fan page, there is a second one! Woohoo. Go give Conquistadors of Nothing a look. I dig it. I feel much less lonely now.

Hello children. Well there are some new demos on Pat's site and an odd bit of ebonics entitled "Delta", quite humorous. Sounds like there are some things stirring for the SG despite the constant action of the all-mighty Weez. Once again, Pat has once again randomly invaded television with a surprise guest appearance on the Tonight Show in a Jay-Walking fiasco. In case you missed it, there is an mpeg of it at the WFO. It cracked me up, Pat and his turquoise Dano singing some Elvis with a convincing impersonator. Classic.

Stuff you most likely read months ago:

Alright so Atom Willard is an actual person. He is the former drummer from Rocket from the Crypt, so he has a nice resume. I was secretly hoping he was an alter-ego so I had something to talk about.
Oh! Wait. Go get the mp3's pat just put up, try Life Goes By first. Fast downloads well worth the time/space. Get it. Get it now, dammit. and if you're really cool and live in LA go see the SG at the viper room 12/20/00. Maybe they'll play in santa suits. I'm done.

I ganked all pics from thespecialgoodness.com. Thanks for not suing me guys.
