Recommended paper type is a thick high quality photo paper with your printer set to high quality. Print the fronts first and if you wish to print the backs too (and this bit is important) remove the front prints from your printer, noting which side of the printer the card bottoms were against. Trim any excess from the last part of the printed pages so the unprinted border is identical top and bottom. Keeping the lower sections of the cards to the same side of the printer, flip the paper over the longest aspect - ie height and replace in your printer. This should produce reasonably accurate reproductions with everything in the correct place. Remember that the originals were never good quality in the first place! |
