| What makes this property special is its location and commanding waterfront view. Goose Pond is over a mile wide and 3.5 miles long and is one of the few pristine shallow lakes in the area. The Goose Pond Lake Association has worked actively to keep it this way. With 2.8 acres of land, 177 feet of road frontage (see plot plan), and a septic system permit in place for a 3-bedroom home, there is plenty of room for expansion. An ideal site for a year round home -- in fact the house next door is owned by year-round residents (as are about 1/3 of the properties on this side of the lake). This is required if a boat dock permit is desired, but otherwise the adjoining shorefront property may be used by the homeowner without a lease.
