Happy New Year 2000, one and all!!! Let the festivities begin! Be happy with the world. Be happy with life in general. Be happy with yourself. Give all your troubles to the one who carries us, even though you aren't aware that He is. He does love you, you know. But that doesn't mean that we're always going to be happy, or always get our own way. Being happy is a frame of mind. You can be in the midst of turmoil and be happy, and then again you can be in the happiest situation and be completely miserable. It just depends on how you view life. There are always things that we want, that are so unreachable for so many different reasons. Somethings are expensive, and we wouldn't dare think of getting these things, because we can't afford them financially. Other things are things that would hurt the ones we love, and we can't afford them spiritually. And yet others are unreachable because we can't afford them physically.
Whatever it is that you want in life, if it is for the good of your soul, then go for it. If it's something that is damaging in any way, even if you feel you can't live without it. Let it go, because it will wreak havoc in your life, and once you have it you will in time regret it.
So drink a cup of cheer, my dear,
and toast the world tonight.
We can't always have the things we want,
but that's a lonesome plight.
To love, to live, to do it well,
These are the things that are true,
We're free spirits, one and all,
And when this life is through,
We'll look down and say,
God bless these souls who need and want,
Dear Lord, If they only knew...
How hard it was to live that life...
Of sacrifice and pain.
It seems we failed so miserably,
And brought about disdain.
You never know what years may bring.
The future is in doubt.
Try hard to be good to one another,
Before your time runs out...

Can this really be all there is?
We wander through this fog called life,
