Gloria's
Gloria's restaurant was my favourite hangout during  my youth. It is very much typical of neighbourhood restaurants of the fifties and sixties. This was the real "happy days" establishment and a landmark, where I grew up in Sudbury, Ontario. It has been replaced by a modern strip-mall and the surrounding landscape has filled up with buildings and new inhabitants, but the atmosphere lives on. Thanks to the good business spirit of the Michel family, Glorias has survived since 1952 ( now a part of the strip mall ) in the same location. The prices have changed, slightly, but the menu is nearly the same and the friendly fast service lives on. It's still a great meeting place for friends and neighbours.
