Step Right In
I discovered this 1924 touring car at Grassy Lake Alberta in 1980, while searching for parts for my model A Ford roadster. I tried to buy it but the car was stolen by the time I contacted the owner. I did the painting from photos I had taken. This was the first work I had done in acrylic. That was in 1994. In 2000 this original painting was one of my entries in the "Art of the Automobile" competition sponsored by the AUTOMOBILE JOURNALISTS ASSOCIATION OF CANADA. At their first venue of the year, the Montreal International Auto Show, this original painting was also stolen, realizing the same fate as the car it portrays. The car and the painting are both still missing at the building of this web-site. If you have any information which will return the painting to me, I will reward you with a collection of my Automotive prints worth over $2000.
