I have always loved to cook. Finding and creating new and interesting dishes to serve my family and friends has long been a passion of mine. There are few things more gratifying to me than the look of pure pleasure that passes across a loved one's face when sampling a new taste. Studying Gorean foods has allowed me to explore many different cultural and ethnic tastes that I had not encountered before.
Gorean foods was something I had wanted to add to the site for some time, but until recently, I was uncertain as to what form that would take. I knew I wanted this to be different from what is found at other sites. It is my hope that you will find these pages to be interesting, entertaining and above all, useful. |

The Gorean diet was a simple one, consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables and whatever happened to be the "catch of the day," whether it be meat, poultry or fish. Because of the lack of refrigeration on Gor, people used what could be found locally. You will not find here the usual endless lists of Gorean foods and drinks. What you will find are Norman's own descriptions of the foods of various Gorean cities and a link to a practical recipe you can use to bring a little bit of Gor into your own home.
So join me as we travel through Gor and sample the pleasures of Gorean cooking. |
