| The first episode of the Angel series. In this episode, Angel has left Sunnydale for the big city, Los Angeles. Angel's mission? To help those in need to atone for his actions as the evil Angelus. We meet Doyle, sent to help Angel with his visions of the future. Angel is sent to help a woman trying to get out of a relationship with a vampire (though she does not know he is one) and runs into Cordelia, who has also escaped Sunnydale with hopes of making it as an actress. Though Angel fails to save the woman from the vampire, he manages to save Cordelia from the vampires' promises of a successful career. Angel then kills the vampire at his lawyers' office, Wolfram and Hart. |
