Rika: That's so typical. Can't you ever just walk in and say hello?

It seems we have a new Digimon ally. Rika recognizes it's Ryo, and Cyberdramon. Justimon, remains outside to form a distraction for the others. Kazu and Guardromon help out too. Sakuyamon uses a shield to protect them as they descend into the D-Reaper. Takato is still crying for Jeri, but the Jeri wannabe is still talking about the inferiority of humans. Now she has these creepy wing things, and Takato knows it's not her. She finally reveals her true form, and head for Takato and Guilmon. Unable to fight, then run for it. They are saved by MarineAngemon and Kenta. He uses his Kahuna Waves and the agent leaves. He heals Sakuyamon as well. And it seems very effective against the chaos. Outside, Justimon and Guardramon, with some help from Antlyamon, are able to destroy the new agent. Yamaki asks Daisy to try and contact the Ark, and they begin a plan to restore it to help the Tamers destroy the D-Reaper. Impmon and Calumon are trying to find the real Jeri, and they finally locate her inside a sphere of the D-Reaper. Impmon digivolves to protect Calumon, and they breakthrough so Calumon can be with Jeri. However, Beelzemon is captured by the D-Reaper! Jeri, completely lost in despair, barely raising her head. Calumon is getting worried.
Terriermon: Mr. Mizuno, not to be rude or anything, but aren't you done with
that yet?
Shibumi: Momantai!
Terriermon; That's a really irritating thing to say!
The Tamers have been staying at the Monster Maker's office while they work on a new Ark to help stop the D-Reaper. Jeri and Calumon are still trapped in what has been recognized as the D-Reaper's "brain," but Calumon still can't get through to Jeri. She's reliving her mother's death and how Beelzemon destroyed her partner Leomon, and the pain of her past is tormenting her. She still can't wake up. The D-Reaper is using her voice to analyze things from her memory. Beelzemon, held back by the D-Reaper, refuses to give up on Jeri. Back at the Monster Maker's office, Jeri's father and stepmother, along with the rest of the parents, are getting worried. Jeri's father leaves, despite Takato telling him not to be mad at Jeri, and that it isn't her fault. Yamaki gets a call that someone has stolen the truck! Jeri's father! He wants to help her, too. He realizes that he's been a bad father, and wants to save his little girl. The Tamers biomerge and attack the D-Reaper again, but it's no use. No one can reach Jeri, not even Calumon. Finally, the new Ark is completed, and the Monster Makers name it Granni, after a famous hero's noble steed. Shibumi uses Henry's D-Arc to bring Granni into the real world, and Gallantmon gives it life. Beelzemon is still trying to reach Jeri, but it seems hopeless.

Beezlemon is having trouble moving. Jeri is still out of it, and Calumon wants to help, but nothing seems to be going well. The D-Reaper "brain" is expanding, and the Monster Makers discover that it's all around the world, not just in Shinjuki. They won't give up, and Yamaki gives them a quick pep talk about how strong the children are. Granni is being operated on, and seems to be given a strong weapon. Suddenly, Daisy discovers something in Granni's programming, pictures from the digital world! The Monster Makers realize that the digital world is already 47% destroyed, and is going to be deleted in a matter of days, maybe even hours. Beezlemon is still trying to get free to help Jeri. He knows he was wrong to destroy Leomon, and wants to save Jeri. Gallantmon wants to help too, but the D-Reaper is too powerful and they can't break through. The Monster Makers were able to see the battle from the D-Reaper's point of view. The D-Reaper can see through layers of programming, so what do the Monster Makers see? In what may be the best scene of the entire episode, the Monster Makers, and everyone else in the world (the program they are looking at is being viewed on national television) see Takato inside Gallantmon, fighting alongside his partner. They see him punching the air, and how that makes Gallantmon jab with his sword or attack with his shield. Everyone starts murmering about how cool Takato is, and just about everyone in the city suddenly turns out to cheer him on at the battlefield. They see Henry and Rika, too, and Yamaki gets scared about how far the battle has gone, that the children have somehow merged with the digimon. Lopmon digivolves to go help Guardramon and MarineAngemon fight the smaller agents and protect Kenta and Kazu. Yamaki can now contact Takato inside Gallantmon, and tells him to fire Granni's weapon, the powerful Yuggoth Blaster, at the D-Reaper. He does, and they are now able to see Jeri. She hears Takato and sees Beelzemon trying to help her. Beelzemon, still unable to break the bubble that has Jeri trapped, screams for power. He used Leomon's Fist of the Beast King, and is finally able to break through. He tries to get Jeri to take his hand, but she will not take it. The hole closes, and suddenly Beelzemon is hit by a powerful D-Reaper attack! He falls, to the chaos below. He begins to fade.
D-Reaper's Feast
Calumon: Aw Jeri. Just think how happy you'd could be if you didn't work
so hard to make yourself so sad.

It looks as if Beelzemon has met his end as he falls toward the D-Reaper's chaos. As the Tamers mourn this loss, a spark of hope arrives. Granni had swooped down and saved Beelzemon from certain destruction! Jeri's depression continues to get worse. The D-Reaper begins to feed off her agony. The Jeri Clone tells Jeri that her sadness has given it the power to evolve even further. Red wires climb the Hypnos building and surround the kernal sphere. A new agent of the D-Reaper is born. The Tamers can only watch in horror as everything seems to get worse. Yamaki contacts Takato and warns them that a group of war planes are headed in their direction. The Tamers are the world's last hope, and they must get out of there. Takato eventually agrees, and they head back to Yamaki and their parents. It turns out the planes weren't dropping bombs, but jamming devices. They hoped to put a hault to the D-Reaper's communications abilities. The success is short lived, as the D-Reaper destroys the jamming devices. The Tamers can only watch as they see that the D-Reaper is all over the world. A friend of the Moster Makers gives them some information gathered by the jamming devices placed inside the D-Reaper. With this info, they hope to create a black hole of sorts to wipe out the D-Reaper for good. Mr. Wong scans Terriermon hoping to find the differences between digimon and the D-Reaper. The tamers take some time off with their families in the meantime. Takato is met by his cousin Kai. Takato hears Jeri cry out in pain, and decides he must go to help her. Shibumi gives Henry a red card that may help them fight the D-Reaper. He swipes it and the tamers decide that is time to fight again. The final battle has been set into motion.
Jeri Fights Back
Takato leaves his family to rescue Jeri. He biomerges with Guilmon into Gallantmon. They fly away on Grani to meet the others. Once they are back in the city, they meet up with Sakuyamon flying in the sky. They see a ball of glowing light above the D-Reaper mass and fly into it. Henry and Terriermon are there. He tells them that Shibumi made a card allowing them to fight inside the D-Reaper. Ryo and Cyberdramon also show up. They all slash the card and head into battle. Once inside the chaos, they are met with resistance by the D-Reaper. Grani is knocked out of the battle, but Gallantmon just tells him to wait there and they will be back. As they are fighting and moving towards the Kernal Sphere, a hole opens beneath them. Mr. Wong contacts Henry and tells them its a vortex connected the D-Reaper to the digital world so it can share data with its other half. They will use this against the D-Reaper. Before they can do anything, something rises from the vortex. A giant worm-like creature, apparently another of the D-Reaper's creations. MegaGargomon, Justimon, and Sakuyamon battle this new enemy while Gallantmon heads to rescue Jeri. He ascends towards the Kernal Sphere, but an evil Jeri head created by the D-Reaper pops up and blasts him back down. Gallantmon is falling to his death when he hears a voice. It's Grani! Grani aks Gallantmon if he wants to fly. He offers his wings to Gallantmon, for he is his friend. The two beings merge, and Gallantmon Crimson Mode is born! He flies upwards and blasts the evil Jeri head, ascending to save his captured friend...
Such Sweet Sorrow
MegaGargomon, Justimon, and Sakuyamon are not having
much success against the D-Reaper.
None of their attacks are effective. Justimon asks
Sakuyamon to send her power to his blade. With their
combined might, he will destroy the beast. She is unsure at
first, but realizes there is no other choice. She sends her
power, but Ryo isn't able to control it at first. Sakuyamon is
weakened by the transfer, and about to be attacked.
MegaGargomon comes to her aid, destroying the scythe
blades of the D-Reaper. Justimon finally gets all of the
power under control, and cuts the thing in half.
The battle is seemingly won.
Gallantmon is headed towards Jeri, but a group of D-Reaper agents
attempt to stop him. He easily destroys them.
Just when he looks to be in the clear, the evil wannabe Jeri clone
shows up and attacks, destroying his weapons. The D-Reaper
pounds on Gallantmon. Even with his new
power he seems to be losing. Meanwhile, the being in the hole
comes back together. It is about to attack when
suddenly it is sucked down into the vortex. The digimon sovereign
had attacked and pulled it back into the digital world. Mr.
Wong relays instructions to Henry. He tells him that the
Juggernaut program was put inside Terriermon.
MegaGargomon goes inside the vortex and begins to spin
rapidly. This changes the direction the vortex spins, causing
time to flow backwards. The D-Reaper begins to be sucked
in.
Gallantmon is thrown into the chaos. He becomes enraged
as the D-Reaper claims humans do not have the right to exist.
Gallantmon storms out of the chaos and wipes her out for good.
He then proceeds to rescue Jeri.
Meanwhile, Shibumi discovers that he miscalculated on the
red card. The Tamers will soon lose their Mega forms. Sure
enough, they all de-evolve seconds later. Takato and Guilmon
rescue Jeri and Calumon. The others meet up with them as
the D-Reaper is disappearing fast. Kenta and Kazu arrive
and MarineAngemon forms a protective bubble for them.
The retrieve Terriermon and escape.
After the battle, they are all in the park viewing a digital
field that is the only remnants of the carnage that took place.
Impmon arrives with his Tamers. He asks for Jeri's
forgiveness, which she grants. Impmon begins to glow, and
then shrink. Then all of the digimon start to glow and shrink.
Mr. Wong arrives and explains that they must return to the
digital world. It's a side effect of the process that beat
D-Reaper. They can no longer exist on this plain of reality.
The children become upset that their friends have to go.
Takato promises that they will play together again, someday.
The digimon dedigivolve to their in-training forms, and cross
the digital field, returning to their world.

Even though I thought I never be the same, the world soon went back to normal. And after awhile,
so did I. Life became exactly was it was before I met Guilmon. Kazu still made bad jokes, and
Miss Nami still gave too much homework. Sometimes I go by our old hangout, just to see if he's
there. Don't know why I bother, cause he never is. Most times I'm okay, but there's this one
thing that bugs me. A promise I made to a friend. A promise, I don't think I can keep. Actually,
scratch that. I think I'm gonna keep that promise after all.
