The Banjer

Here are a few shots of the completed banjo...

I've strung it up with Nylgut strings - and one of these days I'll get around to dying that tailpiece brown or black.  Or red.

This gourd was born to be a banjo.

Here's a view from the back...

The cherry turned out some nice grain for the headstock.

A fine looking gourd indeed.

The tuning pegs have different heights so they don't squish your fingers when you're tuning.
