MIDI Music: "The Rose"

rose is 15 years old, and she is a healer. rose takes the pain from others in our inside family when it becomes too great for them to handle. then she brings it out for us to talk about so we can be healed from it. she also provides a place for others inside to rest while letting go of their pain.

when rose first came out, she was 13. she held the pain of the abuse and trauma we have experienced throughout our life. she was frightened easily and spent much of her time hiding under the stairs in the gathering place. soon we found her a special place of her own, where she can feel safe. this helped her a great deal, and she can now help others. she's gradually aged from 13 to 15.

since she doesn't come out very often, rose spends much of her time in her room, which has a big, soft white canopy bed with fluffy, white pillows, and lots of stuffed animals. resting keeps rose safe and strong so she can come out the next time someone needs her. she also helps look after the younger children when needed. at these times, she can be found wearing her usual flowing, white dress and sitting in her white rocker with one or more of the kids.

rose's sister josie is six years old, and her brother david is five.
